We attended o e of the children's pizza making parties, I am.a childminder so had 8 children with me ranging from 2 to 12 years of age, they all loved it even the pre teen. They are already asking to go again and we only left a couple of hours ago.

A must to keep the kids entertained! Pizzas were delicious and the two year old who was a bit young to participate was catered for too. Over all loads of fun, delicious food, happy helpful staff and lots off goodies well worth every penny ��

We went with a Groupon voucher for a pre-film meal so our food choice was from the smaller menu, not the big one. We sat for about 15 minutes before our order wa taken in a one third full restaurant. I am glad we allowed one and a half hours for the meal because that is what it took from stat to finish. The starter wa fine but as a previous review stated, my own lasagne is better than theirs (too thin, no body and dry) The staff were friendly enough but our waitress told us she was having to help out in Hatfield due to staff shortages, and Bella Italia were paying for her taxi from Stanmore each day ( so obviously can't get the staff) For what we paid we were happy but I think I will resist going there on a busy night and ordering three courses from the main menu.

Overall very nice lunch with a party of 10. Lamb shank was fantastic. Steaks were very good, as was the pasta. Had a glass if primitivo which was great with the lamb. Starter plate also very nice. Friendly service, too. The salmon was fine for one of us, the other was burnt and dry. My son ordered a burger without Mayo and they forgot and it was full of mayo. If for the last two points I would have given 4 stars! Still, We'd go again!

Had a meal from £6.99 lunch menu duck flatbread and chips chips were under cooked and flatbread was over cooked very hard with small amount of duck mum had a salad lots of chicken but very dry and just leaves no onions toms or cucumber will not be rushing back anytime soon �

By the time mine arrived, my two friends had finished theirs. Shortly after the mains came out but I was still eating my starter so we sent them back. We all ordered spaghetti Bolognese and when they came out mine was the size of a starter and yet the other 2 were a full plate. It was very bland and not well presented. Very short staffed who were rushed off their feet

Which mine was burnt and my partners was wrong. The starters were replaced but then 40 mins later we still hadn’t received our mains so had to ask for the bill as we couldn’t wait an longer. We had to go to McDonald’s afterwards as we needed to eat something. I asked whether they were missing a chef and even the waitress didn’t know what was going on ! Waitresses offered good service, but what was going on in the kitchen ?

The waiter said they are only taking bookings at this time (15.00) and wouldn’t give us one of the many unreserved tables so you have lost so much custom today I am sure .

They had run out of 3 wines, no sauce, which should have come with our starters. Then after taking my card from the machine, she just held it in my direction, while talking to another member of staff about other orders and stock. Not a word to us. No acknowledgement to us at all.

Visited on a Wednesday evening, only a few other people in the restaurant. Took 25 minutes to take our drinks order, another 20 minutes later we had to ask to actually get them. An hour and a half after we arrived the manager came over to advise us that most of our food was ready but he noticed when he went to get it for us that the ribs were still frozen so we probably shouldn't eat them?! He then asked if my friend still wanted anything to eat! Within a few minutes of taking her replacement order our entire table of food came out. So not only was the original order still frozen but they obviously then microwaved the (rather dry looking) replacement pasta scarily quickly. Having eaten we then watched one of the waitresses serve up ice cream behind the bar for another table, and push it off the scoop into the bowl with her (unwashed/ungloved) finger. Lovely!!!!!

No discount on the bill for the awful service or missing food.

We arrived and seated and was given the drinks menu, it's took 20 mins for someone to take our drinks, starters and mains order, after that we waited a further 10 mins for the drinks to arrive, 3 out of the 4 starters arrived, we had to wait for the 4th which then made the rest of ours cold. Starters had been finished and plates were removed. We then had to ask where the mains was? They arrived well 1 meal was dry and looked microwaved, the 2 prawn pasta dishes were so hot(spicy) it was burning there's mouths which made this dish unbearable and not enjoyable. We had to ask for cutlery to eat the food with which took time.

The pizza dish which was mine, was cold soggy and soaked in mozzarella juice which wasn't drain or was it even cooked on the pizza. With the pasta being so spicy we order 2 waters again this took a further 15 mins, so when the food was collected we expressed our concerns with our meals and service, the waitress told us yeah sorry we have been dealing with a complaint. Mine instance thought was she shouldn't be discussing that with us. Every time was asked the waitress for something it took so long and always felt like it was an problem that we had asked for anything.

We were asked for desserts and when the menu was brought over was told 5 of the things on the menu out of about 15 wasn't available so we didn't have any desserts. The time was getting on and out film was getting close to its start time, so we asked for the bill, which then took another 15 mins !!!

We finally got the bill with a discount which was a bit of the back and forward situation. We said we need to leave for our film please can we just pay and leave.

Will never be going back there ever again!! 😡😡

I went to a christmas meal here with my work and had to choose what I wanted before I went. I chose from the set christmas menu and on it said a tradtional lasagne with beef ragu and all the normal stuff you find in a lasagne so I chose this as I'm a fussy eater and nothing else really seemed like something I would like. When I got the lasagne I was very disappointed as it was not a normal lasagne. It did not have the normal beef ragu in it or anything a normal lasagne had. It was filled with chicken and cranberry sauce and topped with stuffing anf mini pigs in blankets. It tasted absolutely disgusting. It did not say it would be a christmas lasagne on the menu. If it had, I would not have chosen it. Also when I was given it, I was not told the plate would be boiling hot and ended up burning myself when touching it. Dessert was also a dissapointment as it was not sticky toffee pudding at all. It was just a load of shit. Never ever eating here again.

I love Bella Italia but this visit has made us never want to return. I understand it is a saturday night and its busy. However, we booked a table in advance earlier this afternoon and we get there and it takes the waitress' 30 minutes to take our drinks (despite them looking at us and walking past us countless times) we then waited 25 minutes for our drinks to come - minus 2 drinks that we ordered and had to ask for them to be done. We asked for our garlic bread to come with our main. The garlic bread came 20 mins after the drinks. With the waitress telling us "your mains will be 5 minutes". Half an hour later, still no mains and cold garlic bread. My partners pasta was £14 and consisted of 7 (yes 7!) Thumb sized pieces of pasta with some leaves thrown on the top. Not only that, i watched your staff be really rude to customers, barge customers out of the way, walk off while the customers were in mid conversation with them. Took us 15 minutes to get our bill because your staff kept printing off someone elses bill for us. There mustve been about 15 or 20 tables that walked out because they were either still waiting for their drinks an hour later. Or still hadnt got their food. Ive never seen a restaurant clear so quickly and so many complaints in one night.

I have Been to two of the chains restaurants; Gillingham and Hatfield, and both times the experience has been ruined by rude, poorly trained staff.



Starter plates came out over half way through the starters. Knives and forks missing from table. Mains were being brought out before starters were finished. Staff were telling us when we could order, staff not acknowledging requests for condiments, missing items from starters and mains. Call me old fashioned, but worst of all, staff reaching across people eating to lay cutlery and retrieve used plates.



We won't be visiting a third time. If in doubt, opt for Pizza Express or ZiZi's.

Which mine was burnt and my partners was wrong. The starters were replaced but then 40 mins later we still hadn’t received our mains so had to ask for the bill as we couldn’t wait an longer. We had to go to McDonald’s afterwards as we needed to eat something. I asked whether they were missing a chef and even the waitress didn’t know what was going on ! Waitresses offered good service, but what was going on in the kitchen ?

Well I can’t really give any stars, my partner and I went to your restaurant today on a busy bank holiday as it was the only place in the galleria not queuing out of the doors and only a quarter full if that. The waiter said they are only taking bookings at this time (15.00) and wouldn’t give us one of the many unreserved tables so you have lost so much custom today I am sure .

We went and couple of months ago and it was nice so we went back today for our Anniversary! The staff were so rude, not just one of them but two women serving. We will NOT be going there again. They had run out of 3 wines, no sauce, which should have come with our starters. This didn't bother us and we did not say anything, but then when we wanted to pay they just held their hand open for my card with out a word. Then after taking my card from the machine, she just held it in my direction, while talking to another member of staff about other orders and stock. Not a word to us. No acknowledgement to us at all.

Visited on a Wednesday evening, only a few other people in the restaurant. Took 25 minutes to take our drinks order, another 20 minutes later we had to ask to actually get them. An hour and a half after we arrived the manager came over to advise us that most of our food was ready but he noticed when he went to get it for us that the ribs were still frozen so we probably shouldn't eat them?! He then asked if my friend still wanted anything to eat! Within a few minutes of taking her replacement order our entire table of food came out. So not only was the original order still frozen but they obviously then microwaved the (rather dry looking) replacement pasta scarily quickly. Having eaten we then watched one of the waitresses serve up ice cream behind the bar for another table, and push it off the scoop into the bowl with her (unwashed/ungloved) finger. Lovely!!!!!

No discount on the bill for the awful service or missing food.

Very disappointed as I only live a few minutes walk away and it always used to be lovely here. Unfortunately, this is the second time in a row we have received such useless service so I will not be going back!

We arrived and seated and was given the drinks menu, it's took 20 mins for someone to take our drinks, starters and mains order, after that we waited a further 10 mins for the drinks to arrive, 3 out of the 4 starters arrived, we had to wait for the 4th which then made the rest of ours cold. Starters had been finished and plates were removed. We then had to ask where the mains was? They arrived well 1 meal was dry and looked microwaved, the 2 prawn pasta dishes were so hot(spicy) it was burning there's mouths which made this dish unbearable and not enjoyable. We had to ask for cutlery to eat the food with which took time.

The pizza dish which was mine, was cold soggy and soaked in mozzarella juice which wasn't drain or was it even cooked on the pizza. With the pasta being so spicy we order 2 waters again this took a further 15 mins, so when the food was collected we expressed our concerns with our meals and service, the waitress told us yeah sorry we have been dealing with a complaint. Mine instance thought was she shouldn't be discussing that with us. Every time was asked the waitress for something it took so long and always felt like it was an problem that we had asked for anything.

We were asked for desserts and when the menu was brought over was told 5 of the things on the menu out of about 15 wasn't available so we didn't have any desserts. The time was getting on and out film was getting close to its start time, so we asked for the bill, which then took another 15 mins !!!

We finally got the bill with a discount which was a bit of the back and forward situation. We said we need to leave for our film please can we just pay and leave.

Will never be going back there ever again!! 😡😡

I chose from the set christmas menu and on it said a tradtional lasagne with beef ragu and all the normal stuff you find in a lasagne so I chose this as I'm a fussy eater and nothing else really seemed like something I would like. When I got the lasagne I was very disappointed as it was not a normal lasagne. It did not have the normal beef ragu in it or anything a normal lasagne had. It was filled with chicken and cranberry sauce and topped with stuffing anf mini pigs in blankets. It tasted absolutely disgusting. It did not say it would be a christmas lasagne on the menu. If it had, I would not have chosen it. Also when I was given it, I was not told the plate would be boiling hot and ended up burning myself when touching it. Dessert was also a dissapointment as it was not sticky toffee pudding at all. It was just a load of shit. Never ever eating here again.

I love Bella Italia but this visit has made us never want to return. I understand it is a saturday night and its busy. However, we booked a table in advance earlier this afternoon and we get there and it takes the waitress' 30 minutes to take our drinks (despite them looking at us and walking past us countless times) we then waited 25 minutes for our drinks to come - minus 2 drinks that we ordered and had to ask for them to be done. We asked for our garlic bread to come with our main. The garlic bread came 20 mins after the drinks. With the waitress telling us "your mains will be 5 minutes". Half an hour later, still no mains and cold garlic bread. My partners pasta was £14 and consisted of 7 (yes 7!) Thumb sized pieces of pasta with some leaves thrown on the top. Not only that, i watched your staff be really rude to customers, barge customers out of the way, walk off while the customers were in mid conversation with them. Took us 15 minutes to get our bill because your staff kept printing off someone elses bill for us. There mustve been about 15 or 20 tables that walked out because they were either still waiting for their drinks an hour later. Or still hadnt got their food. Ive never seen a restaurant clear so quickly and so many complaints in one night.

I have Been to two of the chains restaurants; Gillingham and Hatfield, and both times the experience has been ruined by rude, poorly trained staff.



Starter plates came out over half way through the starters. Knives and forks missing from table. Mains were being brought out before starters were finished. Staff were telling us when we could order, staff not acknowledging requests for condiments, missing items from starters and mains. Call me old fashioned, but worst of all, staff reaching across people eating to lay cutlery and retrieve used plates.



We won't be visiting a third time. If in doubt, opt for Pizza Express or ZiZi's.

We attended o e of the children's pizza making parties, I am.a childminder so had 8 children with me ranging from 2 to 12 years of age, they all loved it even the pre teen. They are already asking to go again and we only left a couple of hours ago.

A must to keep the kids entertained! Pizzas were delicious and the two year old who was a bit young to participate was catered for too. Over all loads of fun, delicious food, happy helpful staff and lots off goodies well worth every penny ��

We went with a Groupon voucher for a pre-film meal so our food choice was from the smaller menu, not the big one. We sat for about 15 minutes before our order wa taken in a one third full restaurant. I am glad we allowed one and a half hours for the meal because that is what it took from stat to finish. The starter wa fine but as a previous review stated, my own lasagne is better than theirs (too thin, no body and dry) The staff were friendly enough but our waitress told us she was having to help out in Hatfield due to staff shortages, and Bella Italia were paying for her taxi from Stanmore each day ( so obviously can't get the staff) For what we paid we were happy but I think I will resist going there on a busy night and ordering three courses from the main menu.

Overall very nice lunch with a party of 10. Lamb shank was fantastic. Steaks were very good, as was the pasta. Had a glass if primitivo which was great with the lamb. Starter plate also very nice. Friendly service, too. The salmon was fine for one of us, the other was burnt and dry. My son ordered a burger without Mayo and they forgot and it was full of mayo. If for the last two points I would have given 4 stars! Still, We'd go again!

Had a meal from £6.99 lunch menu duck flatbread and chips chips were under cooked and flatbread was over cooked very hard with small amount of duck mum had a salad lots of chicken but very dry and just leaves no onions toms or cucumber will not be rushing back anytime soon �

Myself and 3 friends went for dinner there last night. 23/2/18 pre the cinema. We ordered our starters and two came out except mine which took over 20 mins. It was only mozzarella. By the time mine arrived, my two friends had finished theirs. Shortly after the mains came out but I was still eating my starter so we sent them back. We all ordered spaghetti Bolognese and when they came out mine was the size of a starter and yet the other 2 were a full plate. It was very bland and not well presented. Very short staffed who were rushed off their feet
