Yes stayed here for the weekend and the weather was kind to us . What a lovely site highly recommend it. Staff very helpful and great views 5mins from beach . Looking forward to coming back ....

This is a gem of a site, views outstanding, Wardens went out of there way to explain area, they talked to everyone unlike others who only appear helpful to there pals.

Lovely site overlooking Spittal and Berwick. Fab sea view and lots of space around us (I’d say the pitch we’re on is wider than usual CC size). The staff are brilliant, very friendly and helpful; on arrival they informed me they had coned off the longer pitches to prevent smaller vans taking them all as they were expecting a few longer motor homes, and even advised which one I should choose for the view...and they were spot on! Also, we had made a mistake and only booked two nights when we wanted three, but they were now fully booked and had been for weeks as I kept checking on line......on arrival I checked again and was advised to keep checking in with the staff to see if they had a cancellation, but this morning before I even had a chance to pop to reception, there was a knock at the door to tell me there was now availability and if I still wanted it, to go to reception to book, which I did. Spotless site, well kept and the facilities are lovely and clean at all times. Yes, there are frequent trains, but they are not loud, and did not keep us awake or wake us up in the night. The walk into Berwick takes about 25 minutes (with two dogs who want to sniff everything on the way) and there are plenty of shops if you need anything. Spittal boardwalk (10 mins walk away) is a lovely walk along the front with a cafe and ice cream parlour and amusement arcade and if you carry on it takes you to the coastal path. Boat rides are available around the bay and these go from Berwick. Seen seals in the water, bunnies on site, jet skiers having fun. Just a wonderful place to be for a quiet break. Thank you

User

Lovely site and well kept. Walks into the town very relaxing and lots to see have enjoyed the stay.

I have stayed at this site several times the latest being this Monday 12th Sept and left today 15th Sept. I have been with my husband, my friend and this time alone as my husband has Dementia and is in a care home. Each time I have been I have been lucky enough to have a sea view, most of the pitches have, only a few don't. The wardens are always friendly and helpful. You expect seagulls at the seaside and the trains disappear into the background unless you sit and listen for them.

I love this site, it is within easy reach of Berwick upon Tweed, and Cocoature, the best little chocolate shop in the world, the beach at Spittal, the Scottish border and Lindisfarne. The toilet block is always clean and tidy and the grounds well kept, all in all, a lovely site

User

Hidden gem, lovely site trains run behind site but didn’t bother us as the view out over the sea is amazing!! Site staff very helpful and friendly, showers and toilets immaculate. Would definitely come back.

User

Great wee site. Standards as expected.

Read a lot of negative views about the site noise from trains etc, rubbish yes there are trains passing on the railway line,as this will be the main east coast line, with ole overhead line equipment for electric trains not Diesel engines so are very quiet, these people who put in negative comments on things that are near sites are needing to stay at home.

Great site close to local amenities, local buses at gate, friendly helpful staff, clean hot toilets,

User

Great site, great views, well run with a friendly team. Yes trains do run close by but not at night so don’t worry!

User

Great site with fantastic views out to Sea, Site managers very welcoming and even told us to park our Caravan jockey wheel forward to make the most of the views.

User

Great site been here twice and both times have been lovely. No issues on any pitch fabulous views and the train is only there during the day for about 10 seconds t a time so no problem at all.

Shop is really good with basic essentials available just in case you run out of anything. Toilets are spotless and love the idea of recycling for the rubbish.

All in all and very tidy site with friendly informative staff.

Would recommend anyone to come here although no play area for kids on site as it's not really big enough and you would lose too many pitches.

User

Well maintained very clean site. Good views of the coast and close to Berwick. Great for visiting loads of attractions.

One big (and really frustrating) down side is that the entrance is only one car width so when they queue to get in before 1pm no one else can get in or out.

User

Very good. Lovely views. Some of the pitches are a bit tight. Please note that Berwick is in Northumberland and not Fife as indicated.

User

This is our second stay here within 6 weeks. Site well maintained and the shower toilet block , one of the best yet for cleanliness. Great views over the mouth of the river tweed and coast with plenty places to visit. I.e Holy island and Bamburgh castle. Even though the site is sitting on top of the east coast train line. This does not bother you . Two of many visits to come .

User

Really liked this site and Berwick is a proper hidden gem. Would give it 5 stars if people didn't park the wrong way round so they can see the view. This compromised your privacy if you have a right hand door. If normal Caravan Club rules don't apply why not have everyone park the other way round?

User

Nice site, great views. A brisk walk into Berwick to see all the sights. What more could you ask for.

User

Nice site very popular and busy if coming take notice of the 1pm booking in time. A number of the pitches give great view over Spittal and Berwick. This is our third visit to this site. If you own a motorhome you are most likely will require levelling blocks.

User

Nice place to stay.

Everything is managed and maintained to a very high standard.

Morning and evening views over the estuary looking out to sea are wonderful.

I think it's worth mentioning that they have a couple of disabled pitches which for me have been very handy.

Great location with major superstores and other shops close by.

Lots of tourist attractions within a half hour drive.

User
