Blackbourne School Of Dance Description

Blackbourne School of Dance is an exciting new ballet school based in Red Lodge which opened in September 2013. The aim of the School is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential and to encourage creativity, confidence and excellence through enjoyable and inspiring classes.
We offer ballet classes for children ages 3 + that follow the syllabi of the Royal Academy of Dance.

Spaces are currently available in all of our classes including Thursday evenings at the beautiful new Kentford and Kennett Village Hall. Monday and Tuesday classes take place in Red Lodge and are filling up fast so contact us if you would like to arrange a free trial session. We are excited to confirm that from January 2019 our Thursday classes are moving to the beautiful new Kentford and Kennett Village Hall. The hoodies have arrived! They will be available to collect next week from class and I will try and get them to you discretely if they are destined to be Christmas presents! Please bring cash/cheque or let me know if you would like a PayPal invoice. If anyone missed the first order deadline but would still like a hoodie then let me know ASAP as I can do a second order if there are 5 or more wanted.
Tonight's classes will be covered by Miss Eleanor as our house has been hit by a stomach bug. I will be back as usual next week.

Our uniform is changing! To save the hassle of having a separate leotard and skirt that often falls down and gets muddled we are changing over to a lovely skirted leotard. The old leotard is still perfectly acceptable for class so don't panic if you don't want to buy a new one just yet! We are all very excited about the Summer Show tomorrow! Doors open at 2.10pm and the performance begins 2.30pm. Donations of cake for afterwards would be very gratefully received :D
