Blandford Choral society is now closed down. Our surplus funds have been distributed to the Michael James Trust and the Dorset Rural Music School, for supporting singing and choral music in Dorset. Archive material is with the Blandford museum. Members are still singing with other choirs! Music continues. This site will be closed down. Farewell and goodbye.

Sad news. Blandford Choral Society is to close at the end of September. A full press release will be made at a later date. We are really sorry - and hope all members, and those wanting to sing, will find other choirs in the local area. Happy memories for our concerts this year!

New members very welcome - along with all the returning choir. See you at Blandford St Mary school at 7.30pm. 🤗

Rehearsals have started. We split into small groups to practice listening, tuning and performing. Practised Faure's beautiful and melodic 'Cantique to Jean Racine'in preparation for next concert - March 25, with the Wetherbury singers.
