A sincere thank you to all the anglers who have fished and supported Bluebell over the last year . I'm very pleased to say Bluebell has recorded the most 30 and 40lb captures since records began. We will continue with restocking to maintain this trend already having added 30 new fish to Swan Lake over 28lb, and lots more doubles into Mallard and Bluebell Lake again my sincere thanks Tony and Jim
The fishery will be open again after clearing the road in with our jcb twice. But be prepared there is no parking directly behind any swim as the ground is saturated. There has been no ice on the lakes to talk of and no one has fished here for nearly a full week. Let’s hope that spring will soon arrive regards Tony
Dave celebrated New Year’s Day with an appearance on the bank at 54lb, with his mate at 32lb , his mate at 30lb and a little mate at 27lb. Pictures and name to follow

Christmas opening. The fishery will be closed from Wednesday 20th December and will re open Thursday 28th December at 8am. In what has been a very very difficult year at Bluebell, can I personally thank all of you for your support shown during and after the fire of March 11th. Our only consolation this year has been the fact Bluebell has done more big fish than ever, which is something I want to take forward next year. Restocking is planned for Mallard Lake and Bluebell Lake . The shop is currently being restocked , the stuffed fish have been restored and are back in the shop. I expect the shop to be as was about the end of January. Regards Tonyand Jim
Fishery tariff increase. With immediate effect we have had to increase the prices on all fishery and membership tickets. The cost of a day ticket is now £15 which covers 1 2 or 3 rods. The cost of a 24 hour ticket on mallard bluebell and Sandmartin lake is now £30 for 2 rods £32.50 for 3 rods. The cost of a 24 hour ticket on swan and kingfisher lake is now £32.50 for 2 rods £35 for 3 rods. We are sorry to increase prices but they have been static for several years and the increasing amount of waste left and vehicle damage to gates walls fencing etc has left us no other option thank you
Please note Mallard Lake is booked from 12am Friday 23rd JUNE until Sunday 4pm 25th JUNE all other waters are open for day tickets
Due to the very hot weather there is a total maggot ban on all of the lakes until further notice as of today.

Fire damage update. The new toilets are now open again and the showers have hot water as of today regards Tony
Sorry to post that today we had a very severe damaging fire in the shop. As a result all of the stock has been destroyed, and the building badly damaged. The fishery will remain open. However, we have no pdq machine and no reception, toilets are still working. I hope you can still enjoy the fishing here this summer without the shop facility, I fear it may be some months before I can get back to normal . I will try my best to carry out repairs as soon as I can, and please do still use the fishery your support at this testing time will be very much appreciated regards Tony

Bracken the little brown spaniel that lives on the boats but is always playing here at bluebell has gone missing. Last seen Sunday afternoon if anyone has any information or later sightings please ring me on 01832226042 owner and us desperately worried about her.
