Massive well done to the team.
From the money raised yesterday, a hugely generous donation from Buttercup Cakes by Jo and the money raised from Maria's earlier bake sale...we have managed to raise a tremendous £801.27 for the Lulu Foundation.
Big thanks once again to all those who donated and to all the sponsors - without your support this wouldn't have been possible!

What a successful fundraising day for Lulu at The Manor. Hospital
HUGE thanks to all the staff, patients and consultants who donated, and to all the very generous companies who kindly donated prizes for our raffle. We also have to praise Executive Director, Rick Sanders, who agreed to dress up as a unicorn (Lulu's favourite creature) and have pies thrown in his face by his, all to willing to oblige, staff. Lulu was very excited to be the first one to launch a pie!
The total a...mount raised is yet to be confirmed but we will be able to reveal this very soon.
Thanks also to Lulu's dad who took a slight detour on the final day of his 12 days, 12 marathons challenge to come and pick a raffle ticket prize winner.

BMI The Manor Hospital are inviting staff, their friends and family to take part in a fundraiser to help raise money for Lulu, who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in January last year, at just 4 years old.
Patient Administrator at The Manor and close friend to Lulu's parents, Sally Hanson, is leading a tremendous fundraising effort to help Lulu access the cancer treatment she desperately needs and which is not available on the NHS.
Delighted to do what we can to support, the... staff at the Manor have put posters and collection boxes around the hospital and we are holding a big fundraising day on 2nd April:
- Staff are invited to wear pink which is Lulu's favourite colour - The Executive Director of the hospital, Rick Sanders, will be dressing up as Lulu's favorite animal and has offered to have cream pies thrown at him for a donation - something the staff are very keen to take advantage of! - There will be a bake sale all day for staff and visiting patients - We are holding a raffle and prizes are coming in thick and fast. Please feel free to donate anything as a raffle prize. Just drop it off at main reception for the attention of Sally Hanson.
We hope Lulu can attend this event herself and enjoy in the fun - maybe even be the first to throw a cream pie at the Executive Director!

Huge congratulations to the team and thanks to Maria Iaciafano for this weeks bake sale in support of our Lulu fundraiser.
Maria brought cakes in for her birthday and sold them for donations to all the staff. The final total raised was a £78!

LULU FUNDRAISING AT THE MANOR - UPDATE
Plans for the Manor fundraiser to support little Lulu are well underway and the team are already donating gifts for the raffle or offering to bake cakes for the bake sale.
Executive Director at The Manor, Rick Sanders, has even agreed to allow the staff to throw cream pies in his face for a donation (an opportunity many of the staff are keen to take advantage of!)
... Patient Administrator, Maria Iaciafano, has even taken it upon herself to start the fundraising early and came in on her day off yesterday (her birthday!) to sell cakes to the staff & all funds raised would go towards the Lulu fund.
Minimum amount raised so far is £65.00 - HUGE well done and thanks to Maria!
