Lisa Boardman

After completing a beauty therapy course in 2010 and enjoying the massage element, Lisa decided to continue her studies by enrolling on a Sports Massage course. Since the day she started the course she has never looked back!

In 2012 she progressed onto a Sports Therapy degree. The course has given her experience in assessing and treating sporting and every day injuries, by working with various athletes and clients.
Lisa has volunteered her time, knowledge and skills at various events such as the London Marathon and working with a local Rugby club, where she has provided treatment. Lisa has also worked at Whittlebury Hall where she has offered more of a relaxing massage and facial treatment. She has also worked at Bedford Chiropractors Clinic and Star Light Pilate’s studio providing Sports Therapy, massage and rehabilitation exercises.

Since completion of her Sports Therapy BSc (Hons) degree where Lisa achieved a 2: 1, she took no time in developing and expanding her own Sports Therapy business. Lisa started her business from EPT gym, Rushden treating not only gym members, but members of the public. As the business has grown Lisa could take the opportunity to expand her business to the bigger town of Wellingborough, where is she a resident Sports Therapist at the Oxford Street Therapy Centre.

A wide variety of treatments are offered and are tailored to suit your needs. Lisa may ask Wellingborough clients to attend appointments at EPT Gym to take advantage of the gym equipment for rehabilitation purposes.
