Happy Friday to everyone! Our Chelmsford restaurant had its opening yesterday and we were very excited! Our website has been updated for both our restaurants, the menus are different so take a look. We use this restaurant a lot , the food is second to none , amazing, the staff are always pleased to see you and serve you well , great for romantic dinner for two and larger groups

This restaurant has two sittings; i went for the 8.45pm sitting as not to be rushed. The food in this restaurant is really lovely and the service is great. I spend a lot of my life in Turkey; hence have eaten a lot of Turkish food in my life and was very impressed with the food at Boğaz. Reasonably priced for a restaurant. I will be returning here again at some point. Çok güzel. Harika bir gece için teşekkürler. ��

My husband and I went at lunchtime yesterday. The second time we've been there and we weren't disappointed. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff were friendly but not pushy. The food was very tasty and freshly made. My moussaka was amazing and arrived sizzling in its dish! My husband's mixed kebab was huge and he loved it. No desserts this time as we were so full. We'll definitely go again.

I am really pleased about the resturant it was so nice the serving was so quick and everyone was so polite the food was so tasty and delicious keep it up.

Had my mums birthday here and all 11 of us were served on time and each plate came out hot with extra to go round! They sang happy birthday and got everyone in the whole place involved.. can't wait to go again x

Best Turkish resturant in Rayleigh, been very well looked after every time we have been, the Pitta is amazing along with the complimentary olives and dips. service is brilliant, food is Gorgeous.

Been a few times but went again last night for a family meal celebrating dads birthday. My daughter who is under 2 absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere, the staff were so friendly, that my daughter was giving them cuddles and they were chatting with her. Food was delicious as always and we all really enjoyed our meal. Will be back again soon !

We visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. All seemed good to start with. When we made the booking we told that we would only have the table for around an hour and a half, which was fine with us. The starters came out promptly, but the mains took a further 45 minutes after our starters had been cleared...When the waiter brought over our dishes, he apologised for the wait, but then made it clear that we should still vacate the table in the allotted time. I stated that this may not be long enough, but he was very insistent that it was, and we shouldn't hold them up. They wanted us gone so much, that my friend hadn't even finished the mouthful of food she was eating before taking her plate away.

The only reason I have given this place 2 stars was because the food was average. If you want great service and great food then this is not the place to go.

The food was pretty good but at the end of the night they tried to charge us for a dish we didn't order or receive ( I suspect they saw a few lads on the beers and thought they could make a quick £12 )

Asked the manager to look into this who immediately called me a liar without even checking and said he even brought the dish over himself �

After checking the cctv and proving to the whole restaurant he was lying to my face, he never came to our table and we only had 5 main dishes instead of the 6 he was trying to charge me for.

We received a half hearted apology and left.

Second visit to Bogaz last night and most definitely my last! Sitting at the table with four friends chatting whilst waiting for our food and a waiter comes over and tells us to keep the noise down as the people on the next table asked to be moved! The whole place was filling up and quite noisy. We most definitely were not being overly noisy, and found this rather rude. When we got up to leave after being insulted we were threatened with the police. How very rude and most certainly uncalled for. Never again �
