Thanks to the generous support from Morrisons customers in Fakenham yesterday we will be able to provide bursary support for up to 6 children who otherwise may not have been able to afford to visit Brancaster Activity Centre. For more information on our bursary and how you can help see http://bit.ly/2MajjaT

**Important notice regarding BBQs** With the extended dry, hot weather we are experiencing, we’re not allowing BBQs at National Trust places on the Norfolk Coast and we’d advise you to check when travelling to other National Trust locations whilst out and about this summer. The inaccessibility of many dune and grassland areas adds to the risk and difficulty of dealing with a fire that can be devastating for wildlife. Thank you and we hope you have a great summer.

Could your photo be on the front cover of our 2019 handbook? Or maybe on our membership card? We’re on the hunt for two special photographs & it could be yours! To find out more please visit:

**Important advice** As the dry, hot weather continues our coastline continues to become even more of a fire risk. Leave BBQs at home, dispose of glass bottles & cigarette ends responsibly. Help to keep these locations safe whilst you’re enjoying the summer.

Are you a family visiting Brancaster beach with young children? Head over to the Brancaster Beach Kiosk for your free children’s wristband. They do a pretty good selection of ice creams too 😉

Nature is rolling out the purple carpet as the sea lavender flowers on the saltmarshes along the Norfolk Coast. July is definitely the best time to view this spectacular display of colour.

User

**Important advice** If you are visiting the coast at the moment or planning to then we ask that you please leave BBQs at home & ensure cigarette ends are disposed of responsibly. The whole coastline, like most of the country, is tinder dry at the moment & a fire could quickly take hold which would be devastating for wildlife. The inaccessibility of many dune & grassland area adds to the risk & difficulty of dealing with such an event. Thank you.

There are now lots of chicks present on the coastline that are being fed by their parents but still very camouflaged. You can help to protect them by keeping to paths, putting dogs on short leads and watching where you step.
