We came for Breakfast with Santa today and I really cannot fault it.

Breakfast was great and plentiful, the kids commented how nice the bacon and croissants were. We were not rushed either which was nice.

Santa was brilliant, one of the best we have seen. Really interactive and listened to the kids and even got folks involved too with a great sense of humour. Kids loved it xx

I went their with my family 8 of us for my birthday had a gawjuss meal no complaints at all friendly staff defo go back again 25 quid a head with drinks can't complain great night thank u all for making it a good night big b little b and mumma b thanks for the surprise cake and staff joined us so all round a good evening keep up the good work guys and girls xxx

Very nice place. Came here almost by accident, wanted to buy a lunch for a friend. He loves meat and, following the suggestion of the nice lady who accepted my order, the food was great for him - big juicy stake, lots of side dishes - peas, mushrooms, chips, onion rings - all with very reasonable prices. The staff was nice and helpful, as I have difficulties walking, but they covered all I couldn't do by myself. The toilet was not very clean, but the Chef added fresh salad in the left over box for my friend, who could't finish his meal - so both things together cancel each other when it comes to review. Overall - happy with my visit and recommending the place.

It's run mainly by teenagers and there are never enough people behund the bar taking orders. Last night was curry night but they are never quick enough replenishing when something runs out. I had to ask a teenager for poppadoms and was told they didn't have any left but he was confusing them with bahjis which they had run out of and this was only 6.30. It's ok at best for a quick cheap meal. They defo need more staff!

Slow service I can see they are short staffed but some standards can't be dropped because of that . Nobody's been to see if everything is okay. (It's not, steak over cooked and sauce is stone cold.) Think I will eat elsewhere tomorrow night.

Went in at 1330 (and did the traditional wait 10 minutes to get acknowledged to ‘be seated’) for lunch on the off chance as car park half empty and tables free. Told we need to wait 45 mins to an hour, because other people had booked ahead (fair enough) but half the restaurant is reserved for people ‘enjoying drinks before and after dinner’. It’s location on a family estate and next to a commuter link means it’s not a pre and post dinner kind of place so it’s always EMPTY that side. Thankfully Maypole Farm 300yards away who were much busier welcomed us!

We waited 45mins although the place was nearly empty. The chicken was awful. The salad was awful. Disgustingly presented. Slung on plate. All greasy. Tasted bad. When spoke to staff got a waduwan then instead. Nothing thanks. But you just lost a regular customer. No offer of a refund.

Gone from bad to worse recently. Also the disability toilet is always filthy. Went one day inco tinence pad rolled up on floor. Still there the next day. Disgusted.

We had a booking for 6: we waited almost 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us whilst we “waited to be seated”; we waited and hour for mains (they were poor); we ordered desert and 45 minutes later, we still had dirty plates and dishes on our table. I complained, a third of the table was cleared and they gave us a 20% refund; 2 and a half hours after arriving we left the dirty plates on the table, ignored the cries from the children because they had had no dessert, and we left. Thanks for making my son’s birthday meal so special.....NOT � regardless of the refund, that shocking experience still cost us over £100 �

Very disappointed! We booked over a month ago for our family Christmas meal (16 of us) we all work different shifts etc and live in different areas so yesterday, 3rd December was our Christmas! We travelled over two hours to get there.(I was also post night shift)

We ordered 3 courses,1st course came, it was nice. After waiting over 40 mins for next course a panicked waitress came out and said “sorry but you have to leave immediately,we’re evacuating the restaurant and I’m not allowed to tell you why!” So we left,tired,hungry and very confused. We did receive a full refund though but regardless our Christmas meal was ruined.

Very disappointed with our recent visit here there was 5 people in our party including 2 children who was looking forward to the Chefs Counter ( burgers and sausages) when we got there the chefs counter was not open , we still stayed and ordered from the main menu myself and wife ordered the haddock and paid extra to make it large after 20 mins the waitress came over and explained there was no haddock we said we would have the normal fish and chips and said can we have extra chips to compensate the waitress said ok after a further 20 mins our food arrived this was after the rest of our party was nearly finished there meals the portions were child size at this time we were still waiting for our starters we asked the waiter about the starters which he said he was going to get them he brought them to us as we were speaking to we believe the manager who ushered him away as we had told her to cancel them this was another 15 mins after he said he was going to get them . we only saw 4 staff working in Brewersfayre for the time of day this was terrible

Went up to the bar to ask what was happening and he was told that they hadn't done the food and they knew we were waiting!! In that case why did they not come up to apologise and let us know? No offer of money off or anything to make up for the bad experience. Only said they would try to get the food out ASAP. By this time we'd had enough so asked for our money back. We live locally and have had good and bad experiences here (as we come quite often).

However, I highly doubt we will bother to return if this is the kind of response that this company has to complaints. I'm sure that they will be losing alot of repeat customers but maybe they're used to this now and don't really care about that anymore. Also noticed quite a few other people also complaining about various aspects of their experience in this restaurant.

So dilemma: Do we go to Brewers Fayre or Maypole Farm next door? We attempt Brewers. As we approach a side door a woman hurries over and slams door in our face with no comment. So we walk to the main door. We wait at reception and get ignored by the staff. When the same woman eventually speaks to us she just says in an aggressive tone - there’s no food till 12. Walked into the Maypole next door, was greeted politely - although they didn’t serve food till 12 either they were very polite about explaining it so we stayed and waited to eat. I’ve been in the Maypole many times and had a great experience. I won’t be eating in Brewers Fayre ever. Dilemma solved - thanks!

No veggie gravy for 2 days ..... hard veggie sausages.......small portions for starters ...... looks like it's run by kids....... this place is either really good or absolutely terrible no inbetween. We wouldn't come here if it wasn't for the kids liking the child's menu. My advice is avoid if you possibly can.

Never ever again will we eat here, poor selection of breakfast food, most of the staff could not be less helpful if they tried. No point in complaining to Company again as they reflect the attitude of their staff and just DO NOT CARE

Disappointing. Ordered four meals, one with specific dietary requirements which they got completely wrong and could have caused serious pain to the guest. Only one meal arrived that was ok. Two meals got sent back and one got sent back twice. How is it that the chef's can't seem to toast bread but send out luke warm bread that is neither fresh or toasted with warm patè. And why does it take the manager to have to prepare a small fresh side salad when two wilted salads have already been sent out from the kitchen. Small stuff but very simple stuff, honestly how could you get it so wrong?

Complete shocker of a place. We paid nearly £35 for two meals which was taken bk 3 times and still was wrong in the end.. The food was like it was made yesterday totally shocking. We left the food on the table and walked out no sorry no money bk no excuse no going bk to this dive.. The staff have no clue they look miserable have no desire for the job and mostly rude. I even doute the chef is qualified.. Who ever the chef is. They shouldn't be allowed near food or kitchen's... Very very very very very poor quality... Never again..

Booked a table today for 2.45pm. Four of us going to eat. Food was ordered within 10 minutes of us arriving. At 4.12pm I enquired as to where our food was to be told it would arrive in 4 minutes although the order had to be taken again. Then food still hadn't arrived at 4.30pm. Absolutely disgusting service and will not be going back again.

Booked a table today for 2.45pm. Four of us going to eat. Food was ordered within 10 minutes of us arriving. At 4.12pm I enquired as to where our food was to be told it would arrive in 4 minutes although the order had to be taken again. Then food still hadn't arrived at 4.30pm. Absolutely disgusting service and will not be going back again.

We came for Breakfast with Santa today and I really cannot fault it.

Breakfast was great and plentiful, the kids commented how nice the bacon and croissants were. We were not rushed either which was nice.

Santa was brilliant, one of the best we have seen. Really interactive and listened to the kids and even got folks involved too with a great sense of humour. Kids loved it xx

I went their with my family 8 of us for my birthday had a gawjuss meal no complaints at all friendly staff defo go back again 25 quid a head with drinks can't complain great night thank u all for making it a good night big b little b and mumma b thanks for the surprise cake and staff joined us so all round a good evening keep up the good work guys and girls xxx

Very nice place. Came here almost by accident, wanted to buy a lunch for a friend. He loves meat and, following the suggestion of the nice lady who accepted my order, the food was great for him - big juicy stake, lots of side dishes - peas, mushrooms, chips, onion rings - all with very reasonable prices. The staff was nice and helpful, as I have difficulties walking, but they covered all I couldn't do by myself. The toilet was not very clean, but the Chef added fresh salad in the left over box for my friend, who could't finish his meal - so both things together cancel each other when it comes to review. Overall - happy with my visit and recommending the place.

It's run mainly by teenagers and there are never enough people behund the bar taking orders. Last night was curry night but they are never quick enough replenishing when something runs out. I had to ask a teenager for poppadoms and was told they didn't have any left but he was confusing them with bahjis which they had run out of and this was only 6.30. It's ok at best for a quick cheap meal. They defo need more staff!

It’s location on a family estate and next to a commuter link means it’s not a pre and post dinner kind of place so it’s always EMPTY that side. Thankfully Maypole Farm 300yards away who were much busier welcomed us!

Gone from bad to worse recently. Also the disability toilet is always filthy. Went one day inco tinence pad rolled up on floor. Still there the next day. Disgusted.

We had a booking for 6: we waited almost 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us whilst we “waited to be seated”; we waited and hour for mains (they were poor); we ordered desert and 45 minutes later, we still had dirty plates and dishes on our table. I complained, a third of the table was cleared and they gave us a 20% refund; 2 and a half hours after arriving we left the dirty plates on the table, ignored the cries from the children because they had had no dessert, and we left. Thanks for making my son’s birthday meal so special.....NOT � regardless of the refund, that shocking experience still cost us over £100 �

Very disappointed! We booked over a month ago for our family Christmas meal (16 of us) we all work different shifts etc and live in different areas so yesterday, 3rd December was our Christmas! We travelled over two hours to get there.(I was also post night shift)

We ordered 3 courses,1st course came, it was nice. After waiting over 40 mins for next course a panicked waitress came out and said “sorry but you have to leave immediately,we’re evacuating the restaurant and I’m not allowed to tell you why!” So we left,tired,hungry and very confused. We did receive a full refund though but regardless our Christmas meal was ruined.

Very disappointed with our recent visit here there was 5 people in our party including 2 children who was looking forward to the Chefs Counter ( burgers and sausages) when we got there the chefs counter was not open , we still stayed and ordered from the main menu myself and wife ordered the haddock and paid extra to make it large after 20 mins the waitress came over and explained there was no haddock we said we would have the normal fish and chips and said can we have extra chips to compensate the waitress said ok after a further 20 mins our food arrived this was after the rest of our party was nearly finished there meals the portions were child size at this time we were still waiting for our starters we asked the waiter about the starters which he said he was going to get them he brought them to us as we were speaking to we believe the manager who ushered him away as we had told her to cancel them this was another 15 mins after he said he was going to get them . we only saw 4 staff working in Brewersfayre for the time of day this was terrible

I'm sure that they will be losing alot of repeat customers but maybe they're used to this now and don't really care about that anymore. Also noticed quite a few other people also complaining about various aspects of their experience in this restaurant.

So dilemma: Do we go to Brewers Fayre or Maypole Farm next door? We attempt Brewers. As we approach a side door a woman hurries over and slams door in our face with no comment. So we walk to the main door. We wait at reception and get ignored by the staff. When the same woman eventually speaks to us she just says in an aggressive tone - there’s no food till 12. Walked into the Maypole next door, was greeted politely - although they didn’t serve food till 12 either they were very polite about explaining it so we stayed and waited to eat. I’ve been in the Maypole many times and had a great experience. I won’t be eating in Brewers Fayre ever. Dilemma solved - thanks!

No veggie gravy for 2 days ..... hard veggie sausages.......small portions for starters ...... looks like it's run by kids....... this place is either really good or absolutely terrible no inbetween. We wouldn't come here if it wasn't for the kids liking the child's menu. My advice is avoid if you possibly can.

Disappointing. Ordered four meals, one with specific dietary requirements which they got completely wrong and could have caused serious pain to the guest. Only one meal arrived that was ok. Two meals got sent back and one got sent back twice. How is it that the chef's can't seem to toast bread but send out luke warm bread that is neither fresh or toasted with warm patè. And why does it take the manager to have to prepare a small fresh side salad when two wilted salads have already been sent out from the kitchen. Small stuff but very simple stuff, honestly how could you get it so wrong?

Complete shocker of a place. We paid nearly £35 for two meals which was taken bk 3 times and still was wrong in the end.. The food was like it was made yesterday totally shocking. We left the food on the table and walked out no sorry no money bk no excuse no going bk to this dive.. The staff have no clue they look miserable have no desire for the job and mostly rude. I even doute the chef is qualified.. Who ever the chef is. They shouldn't be allowed near food or kitchen's... Very very very very very poor quality... Never again..

Breakfast was great and plentiful, the kids commented how nice the bacon and croissants were. We were not rushed either which was nice.

Santa was brilliant, one of the best we have seen. Really interactive and listened to the kids and even got folks involved too with a great sense of humour. Kids loved it xx

I went their with my family 8 of us for my birthday had a gawjuss meal no complaints at all friendly staff defo go back again 25 quid a head with drinks can't complain great night thank u all for making it a good night big b little b and mumma b thanks for the surprise cake and staff joined us so all round a good evening keep up the good work guys and girls xxx

Very nice place. Came here almost by accident, wanted to buy a lunch for a friend. He loves meat and, following the suggestion of the nice lady who accepted my order, the food was great for him - big juicy stake, lots of side dishes - peas, mushrooms, chips, onion rings - all with very reasonable prices. The staff was nice and helpful, as I have difficulties walking, but they covered all I couldn't do by myself. The toilet was not very clean, but the Chef added fresh salad in the left over box for my friend, who could't finish his meal - so both things together cancel each other when it comes to review. Overall - happy with my visit and recommending the place.

It's run mainly by teenagers and there are never enough people behund the bar taking orders. Last night was curry night but they are never quick enough replenishing when something runs out. I had to ask a teenager for poppadoms and was told they didn't have any left but he was confusing them with bahjis which they had run out of and this was only 6.30. It's ok at best for a quick cheap meal. They defo need more staff!

Slow service I can see they are short staffed but some standards can't be dropped because of that . Nobody's been to see if everything is okay. (It's not, steak over cooked and sauce is stone cold.) Think I will eat elsewhere tomorrow night.

Went in at 1330 (and did the traditional wait 10 minutes to get acknowledged to ‘be seated’) for lunch on the off chance as car park half empty and tables free. Told we need to wait 45 mins to an hour, because other people had booked ahead (fair enough) but half the restaurant is reserved for people ‘enjoying drinks before and after dinner’. It’s location on a family estate and next to a commuter link means it’s not a pre and post dinner kind of place so it’s always EMPTY that side. Thankfully Maypole Farm 300yards away who were much busier welcomed us!

We waited 45mins although the place was nearly empty. The chicken was awful. The salad was awful. Disgustingly presented. Slung on plate. All greasy. Tasted bad. When spoke to staff got a waduwan then instead. Nothing thanks. But you just lost a regular customer. No offer of a refund.

Gone from bad to worse recently. Also the disability toilet is always filthy. Went one day inco tinence pad rolled up on floor. Still there the next day. Disgusted.

We had a booking for 6: we waited almost 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us whilst we “waited to be seated”; we waited and hour for mains (they were poor); we ordered desert and 45 minutes later, we still had dirty plates and dishes on our table. I complained, a third of the table was cleared and they gave us a 20% refund; 2 and a half hours after arriving we left the dirty plates on the table, ignored the cries from the children because they had had no dessert, and we left. Thanks for making my son’s birthday meal so special.....NOT � regardless of the refund, that shocking experience still cost us over £100 �

Very disappointed! We booked over a month ago for our family Christmas meal (16 of us) we all work different shifts etc and live in different areas so yesterday, 3rd December was our Christmas! We travelled over two hours to get there.(I was also post night shift)

We ordered 3 courses,1st course came, it was nice. After waiting over 40 mins for next course a panicked waitress came out and said “sorry but you have to leave immediately,we’re evacuating the restaurant and I’m not allowed to tell you why!” So we left,tired,hungry and very confused. We did receive a full refund though but regardless our Christmas meal was ruined.

Very disappointed with our recent visit here there was 5 people in our party including 2 children who was looking forward to the Chefs Counter ( burgers and sausages) when we got there the chefs counter was not open , we still stayed and ordered from the main menu myself and wife ordered the haddock and paid extra to make it large after 20 mins the waitress came over and explained there was no haddock we said we would have the normal fish and chips and said can we have extra chips to compensate the waitress said ok after a further 20 mins our food arrived this was after the rest of our party was nearly finished there meals the portions were child size at this time we were still waiting for our starters we asked the waiter about the starters which he said he was going to get them he brought them to us as we were speaking to we believe the manager who ushered him away as we had told her to cancel them this was another 15 mins after he said he was going to get them . we only saw 4 staff working in Brewersfayre for the time of day this was terrible

Very bad experience tonight for myself and my partner. Order food at the bar and waited for one hour while people all round us got theirs (including many who had ordered after us). Went up to the bar to ask what was happening and he was told that they hadn't done the food and they knew we were waiting!! In that case why did they not come up to apologise and let us know? No offer of money off or anything to make up for the bad experience. Only said they would try to get the food out ASAP. By this time we'd had enough so asked for our money back. We live locally and have had good and bad experiences here (as we come quite often).

However, I highly doubt we will bother to return if this is the kind of response that this company has to complaints. I'm sure that they will be losing alot of repeat customers but maybe they're used to this now and don't really care about that anymore. Also noticed quite a few other people also complaining about various aspects of their experience in this restaurant.

So dilemma: Do we go to Brewers Fayre or Maypole Farm next door? We attempt Brewers. As we approach a side door a woman hurries over and slams door in our face with no comment. So we walk to the main door. We wait at reception and get ignored by the staff. When the same woman eventually speaks to us she just says in an aggressive tone - there’s no food till 12. Walked into the Maypole next door, was greeted politely - although they didn’t serve food till 12 either they were very polite about explaining it so we stayed and waited to eat. I’ve been in the Maypole many times and had a great experience. I won’t be eating in Brewers Fayre ever. Dilemma solved - thanks!

No veggie gravy for 2 days ..... hard veggie sausages.......small portions for starters ...... looks like it's run by kids....... this place is either really good or absolutely terrible no inbetween. We wouldn't come here if it wasn't for the kids liking the child's menu. My advice is avoid if you possibly can.

Never ever again will we eat here, poor selection of breakfast food, most of the staff could not be less helpful if they tried. No point in complaining to Company again as they reflect the attitude of their staff and just DO NOT CARE

Disappointing. Ordered four meals, one with specific dietary requirements which they got completely wrong and could have caused serious pain to the guest. Only one meal arrived that was ok. Two meals got sent back and one got sent back twice. How is it that the chef's can't seem to toast bread but send out luke warm bread that is neither fresh or toasted with warm patè. And why does it take the manager to have to prepare a small fresh side salad when two wilted salads have already been sent out from the kitchen. Small stuff but very simple stuff, honestly how could you get it so wrong?

Complete shocker of a place. We paid nearly £35 for two meals which was taken bk 3 times and still was wrong in the end.. The food was like it was made yesterday totally shocking. We left the food on the table and walked out no sorry no money bk no excuse no going bk to this dive.. The staff have no clue they look miserable have no desire for the job and mostly rude. I even doute the chef is qualified.. Who ever the chef is. They shouldn't be allowed near food or kitchen's... Very very very very very poor quality... Never again..

Booked a table today for 2.45pm. Four of us going to eat. Food was ordered within 10 minutes of us arriving. At 4.12pm I enquired as to where our food was to be told it would arrive in 4 minutes although the order had to be taken again. Then food still hadn't arrived at 4.30pm. Absolutely disgusting service and will not be going back again.
