*** Patient Notice ***
The Surgery phone lines will be off from 1.00pm today and will reopen at 8.00am tomorrow morning. Our GP's will be away at a GP Forum hosted by West Norfolk CCG for the whole afternoon. Nurse clinics will be running as normal.
If you need medical advice during this time please call 111.

As many of you will know we are a teaching practice we love passing on our knowledge and experience to the next generation of GP's. Georgie and AJ have been with us for the last few months and have baked the staff a cake as a thank you. We wish them all the best with the rest of their studies.

It's Diabetes Prevention Week!

Wow!!
What an Evening, we had over 100 people attend our Diabetes Education Evening today!
We had a few hiccups but we hope everyone went away with lots of really useful information. Thank you to all the staff and PPG members who made it happen and most of all thank you to all of our wonderful patients for supporting and attending.

Today is the day!
Our first Education Eveing kicks off tonight for "Diabetes"
5.00pm - 7.00pm Dowham Market Town Hall

The Surgery has had a large number of calls recently regarding coughs and cold like symptoms.
There is very little the Surgery can provide for this, we advise self-care and to seek advice and over the counter remedies at the pharmacy.

Bridge Street Surgery is hosting a Diabetes Education Evening at Downham Market Town Hall 20th March 2019, 5.00pm - 7.00pm.
All are welcome to attend!
Guest Speakers will include Dr Clare Hambling Clinical Lead for Diabetes & Long-Term Conditions, West Norfolk CCG, Chair Primary Care Diabetes Society and Diabetes UK Clinical Champion. As well as Bridge Street Diabetes Specialist Nurses and Representatives from Diabetes UK.

Raffle!!
We are raising funds for our Surgery Equipment fund and to finance some exciting new Clinical Education Evenings.
Tickets are £1 per ticket and the winners will be drawn on 15th of March.
... All prizes within the hampers were kindly donated by patients and the hampers made by our Practice Administrator.

MacMillan cancer information and support service at the QEH in Kings Lynn provide information, practical, emotional and financial support to cancer patients and the people who care for them wherever they are, in the hospital or wider community.

Rachel one of our senior Receptionists goes on maternity leave today. We wish you all the best with your new arrival! Rachel will be back in a year, we miss her already. 🤰👶🎉
