This afternoon I should have been chained to the desk working on the guide but so glad we took the time out for a family walk, it’s evenings like this you realise how fortune we are to have this within walking distance from the doorstep.

A few snap shots from a snowy Wells and Holkham over the last couple of days.

This week we said our final farewells to my uncle, the last fisherman of my family. This boat has been around me all my life, firstly captained by my Grandad ‘Bill’ and then my Uncle ‘Bins’. Although it brings some pain to see her sitting on the snow at Wells today It also brings some warmth as I think of the joy and good times she has brought them both.

Despite the road closure at Holkham we will be open as normal this week. If you are coming from the Burnham side you can still reach us by turning right at the Victoria Hotel and the taking your next left which will bring you out into the car park at the top of the @adnamsholkhamstore. From there simply head back towards the coast road and you will come out the otherside of the road closure.

We're looking forward setting up shop again at Deepdale Christmas 🎄 Market again this year.

Our Holkham store is currently without a phone line so while we wait for BT to fix the fault we will unfortunately be closed this weekend and back open on Monday. Our Staithe St store in Wells next the sea is open as normal.
