U11 Coach/ Manager, Chris Pelham, tries to capture the scale of the BHCC Colts Day with a slightly shaky 360. Harsh (but fair?) words from his son at the end though... 😂😂😂

Over 50 BHCC juniors, aged 5-13, plus their families and friends, attended the annual BHCC Colts Day at Roding Lane on Sunday 8 July 2018.
The day ran from 10:30am to 2:30pm with the morning session focused on cricket matches played on three pitches on the Roding Lane outfield.
The children played alongside their parents in friendly (and occasionally competitive!) soft ball games. The games were played in a wonderful spirit, with everyone taking part and having a go.
... After the matches, the BBQ, cakes and ice creams kept everyone well fed, with the bar and the Pimm's stall making sure no one was left thirsty.
Hermes made for a superb compère.
In addition to the cricket tournament, there was badminton, jenga, bowls, a bowling machine and the catching machine to keep everyone entertained.
The dads' catching competition saw the club raise over £100, with victory going to the legendary Simon Bance.
The event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of all the members, children and their families and friends who took part, baked cakes, and worked behind the bar - thank you all.
Particular thanks to the Jack Petchey Foundation for its ongoing support and to Ricky Reynolds who organised the day’s activities.

Unfortunately the weather forecast for Friday is not looking good for training. However, given we had to cancel last week, we are keen to try and do something if we can (depending on conditions) and get registration for the new season underway, especially as we start our outdoor fixtures this weekend.
So even if the weather is bad, there will be the opportunity to register, catch up with coaches and managers who will be in attendance and have a drink at the bar.
Please also note that cars won’t be able to park on the outfield yet. If the car park is full, please use public roads. We can revert back to using the outfield once the weather changes and the ground is drier and harder.
