Bujinkan Taiken Dojo 武神館体験道場 Description
Our training closely follows the training as it is done in Japan.
This is Kobudo - it predates the combat sports of Judo, Karate & Kendo; it comes from a need to have a wide range of fighting methods in order to have as good a chance as possible of surviving.
Tuesdays 18: 30-20: 30hrs.
It includes practice in -
Striking, Throwing, Joint Locks.
Kyusho - How to exploit them.
Strategy and Philosophy - for Budo & Life.
Weapons - Hanbo (Sanshaku Bo), Jo, Rokushaku Bo, Katana, Shoto, Knife, Yari & Naginata and other smaller weapons such as Jutte, Kusarifundo, Shuriken, etc. - and how best to defend against them.

A rare opportunity to train for the whole day with Paul Harper, Dai Shihan, as he explores the many ways that taijutsu and weapons can work together to further our understanding and ability in Bujinkan Budo. The training will cover Yari, Rokushaku Bo, Hanbo, Bokken, knife, kusari fundo and taijutsu. Cost = £30 for the day. All Bujinkan practitioners are welcome to attend.
