Official; After months of hard work the refurbishment is nearly finished and The Mighty Butchers Arms in Forsbrook opens it's doors on Wednesday 23rd October.

We are opening soon so we need to start to recruit the team for the Butchers Arms Forsbrook, chef/cook, kitchen staff, bar and waiting on, cleaners etc. email your cv to; garyraglan@aol.com or drop your cv into the pub.

Well happy called in on Sunday for a quick bite very tasty my wife was well impressed with the vegetarian Sunday lunch !! Congratulations to the chef and lovely friendly staff

We called in for lunch and was not disappointed, we all had a different meal it was lovely, presentation was great to. Would highly recommend trying it.

Visited yesterday with my boyfriend after walking round ramblers retreat. Lovely place, great food and reasonably priced, ended our day off nicely 😊

Visited here yesterday as hadn't been for a while with my husband for lunch, the meal was gorgeous & the staff very friendly. The lady who served us even served our drinks to the table, recommend & will return!

Very pleasant lunch with my friend today lovely warm and cosy country pub, a delight to sit in. Nice to have a half of Joules! Excellent food including deserts and reasonably priced. I had a vegetarian option of Moroccan vegetable skewers which were delicious. Definitely a new hang out for myself and friends. Please, please do a pub quiz and hold live music!

Lovely little pub on the way to Alton Towers. So friendly and the sandwiches with chips are amazing

Last meal before we hit the road back to Windermere after an amazing weekend at Alton towers and what a find this was! Food was exceptional and very reasonably priced 👌

If it wasn't 200 mile away I would dine here all the time! Excellent food and the best service I've had in a long time. Thank you to the staff at butchers arms who made my birthday meal out great!

I've been to a lot of restaurants/pubs and this is the best place for food. Great starters and mains. Great menu choice.

Had a lovely time great group on singing Christmas songs great staff definitely drop in again what a night everyone speaks even though you strangers loved it xxx

Excellent- back to basics with flare, food was beautiful, atmosphere fantastic, service with a smile. Took a lot to go back after the last few meals last year but now under new management we'll be regulars once more :)

Excellent food lovely staff and a good cider .Stopped off after a day at Crich tramway well worth it. Excellent value for money will defo pop in again.

Called in tonight as fancied bar meal and impressed. Pleasant bar and lounge area with friendly staff. Reasonable choice of dishes and settled for burgers and steak. Well cooked meal nicely presented. Chips were great big and slightly crunchy. Steak cooked to perfection and tasty with giant onion rings as extra. Will definitely visit again.

Best pub in the city by far. This pub is so good, if I won the lottery I would buy it.

Been here a few times, excellent service! The food is amazing, I normally have a children's meal because they are so filling but yesterday I had one of the southern fried chicken burgers and its safe to say i'll be going back for another one.

Absolutely lovely meal, proper food ! we popped in on our way from a trip to Keithley in Lancashire then to Cheadle then home to the midlands lovely pleasant staff well worth a visit if you’re local or up/down that way ��

To start I never normaly write a revue, nor do I complain, BUT, the butchers arms is my local and my families local for generations quite possibly since its been built, in view of this we always invite our friends to come and drink with us in there especially since the fantastic refurb, and taking into account we have lunch and evening meals in here on many occasion due to the fantastic food and atmosphere,

When we met up here last night (19th april) for my birthday drinks I was naturally surprised to see one of our close friends not too happy with the way they'd been dealt with over an issue with one of the outside benches, after they had put there fresh drinks on the table naturally the girls sat down and to there surprise the table was so loosely put together it tilted knocking there drinks all over there evening wear, and smashing on the floor, after one of there partners went inside for assistance to clean up the glass and something to dry the girls off, obviously asked if the drinks could possibly be replaced, cutting a long story short.... Was basically told no, it was there fault, REALLY?????

NOT good customer service, and NOT good for reputation, he didn't come in screaming and shouting, he simply asked for a couple of replacements which the pubs shoddy bench caused them to drop...... Maybe a few lessons in customer service wouldn't go a miss!! And would of kept a few 'wet' customers happy!!!!!
