On Saturday we welcome back our resident comedy crew, the Intellectual Hooligans! They will be returning with their brand of "Whose Line"-style jokes, games and general banter.
The show is completely free, so stop by, take a seat and have a laugh - doors open at 7:30pm with the show to start at 8:00pm!
Once again, we welcome back the Intellectual Hooligans this Saturday for another evening of fun and games! They'll be bringing their trademark brand of "Whose Line" style improv along for another night of free comedy so come along and have a laugh! Doors open at 7:30pm with the show starting at 8pm.
Young kids have their own game area with us this week!
This is Ben. He's gonna make you an offer you can't refuse. Ben helps us reduce waste by bringing in his own re-usable cup. For every drink Ben has in his cup, he gets two stamps on his loyalty card instead of one - and you can too! In the UK, we use 7 million disposable cups a day - and because of the way they're produced, they're not easily recycled. That's 2.5 billion cups a year... Help us do our bit to cut down on that number by bringing in your own take away cup and yo...ur freebie will roll round twice as fast! Ditch disposables. Be more Ben. #cafebarmarzano #theforum #Norwich #cafebar #coffeeshop #coffeehouse #bar #coffee #espresso #takeawaycup #disposables #ditchdisposables #ecoffeecup #reusable #loyaltycard #bemoreBen #TheCupfather

The sun is shining and the weekend is here - it's the perfect time to try something new! Now on the bar and chilling in the fridge are a couple of little numbers from @redwellbrewing - we've got a magical extra pale ale, and a steam lager that's out of this world. And both are approved Topsy the tipsy bar dino! Stop in and sip one in the sun. . . . #Norwich #Norfolk #cafebarmarzano #cafebar #theforum #microbrew #Redwell #beer #beercan #paleale #lager #buylocal #craftbeer #bardino
Make a note, mark it down, the Intellectual Hooligans will be back with us on the 19th of May! There'll be plenty of "Whose Line is it Anyway" style fun and games, with doors opening at 7:30 and the show starting at 8:00.
Best of all, the show is free!
Sun's out, Norwich! For the moment, anyway... While it lasts, why not pop along and try one of our new cold brew coffee cans from the always fabulous @minorfigures! Delicious over ice, we have the latte and mocha varieties in the fridge which are both made with oat milk - 100% vegan friendly!
You may recognise James, one of our managers. Well today is his 10 year anniversary with us! Be sure to pop in and congratulate him!
Good news for everyone making the trek into town this morning - we are open! We'll be here all day to keep you caffeinated and cosy. If you are making your way in for work or whatever other reason make sure you take it slow, be careful, and keep yourself warm!
Due to the Snowpocalypse smothering everything around us and, ultimately, signaling the end of the world, unfortunately we will be remaining closed today. We hope everyone stays safe and warm and gets the chance to enjoy the snow while it lasts! I know I will be - Benji
The Intellectual Hooligans return for another night of fun and games this Saturday evening! As always, admission is free, doors open at 7:30pm with the show starting at 8pm - all you need to do is bring yourself, enjoy the show and have a laugh!
Oat milk fans rejoice, we’ve finally found an oat milk that works for us! We’re big fans and we think you will be too - give it a go!
Good news everyone! After a day of repair work and deep, deep cleaning we are back up and running. We'll be ready to open at 8:30 tomorrow morning as usual! Thanks for your patience while we've been getting everything under control and back up to speed. We'll see you all in the morning.
Unfortunately, due to a major water leak, we will be unable to re-open as planned and we will be closed until further notice. We're very sorry that we're not going to be able to get up and running again after Christmas, and we'll keep you updated about the situation.
Our opening hours over Christmas and New Year are as follows:
Christmas Eve: 9.30am to 5pm Christmas Day: CLOSED Boxing Day: CLOSED ... Wed 27th: 8.30am to 9pm New Years Eve: 9.30am to 6pm New Years Day: 11am to 6pm
All other days are as usual. Wishing all our customers a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!

We've found what is probably the most upsetting piece of lost property - a single, solitary piece of a puzzle. If you're missing this puzzle piece, please come and pick it up!
Quick reminder for all of our comedy fans out there. This Saturday the 16th will be the last improv comedy night that we'll be hosting in 2017, and for this special Xmas Xtravaganza the Intellectual Hooligans are teaming up with the Norwich Soup Movement! There will be a collection bucket ready and any kind donations will go towards the good work they do.
Wow we had a lovely coffee morning with Alison Watson s friends, then later we had a lovely lunch, staff were very quick and helpful many thanks
I often come to Cafe Marzano as it has a lovely atmosphere right in the heart of the Forum. The coffee is delicious and yesterday we also sampled cake and pastries, rainbow cookies for the children and a bambinoccino. Helpful and friendly staff have everything organised. Very enjoyable!
I am a frequent patron of what I believe is the coziest place to have a coffee in Norwich. I just want to say thank you for finding and handing me back my scarf after I forgot it in one of the tables. Nice people, great coffee and a great atmosphere
Great coffee that’s all I need along with salt lake cookie
Fabulous place - Great Welcome + Coffee - Perfect place to sit + watch the world go by on a Saturday morning
Came here as I heard they were breastfeeding friendly...amazing! Let me order from my chair so I didn’t have to lug the baby to the counter and then took my money to pay for me but manager brought out the coffee saying it was free as ‘life is too short’! Made my day and will DEFINITELY be coming again! Xx
Always good at looking after people and chatting to people and always good at customer service thanks for being there for advice .
Absolutely incredible! I held a charity event yesterday evening and they were just fantastic. In particular Murray for being so supportive. I will pass the word on to everyone about how amazing they were! Highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing venue, staff and atmosphere for a charity pub quiz last night! Staff were so helpful and organised!! Couldn't recommend a place more!!!
Thanks to Marzano , from all the volunteers from SERV Norfolk who were collecting outside the Forum today, for the coffees.
We are back tomorrow the 23rd for another day of fundraising to keep our blood running service free to Norfolk’s hospitals.
Love coming here for a coffee and a rainbow cookie with my little boy after the library. Staff have good deaf awareness and are helpful thanks X
I'm a regular customer and I the staff are really helpful. They bring my drink over to me and food if I've ordered anything as I use an electric wheelchair and can only use one hand. Occasionally they've forgotten if they've been really busy but other than that,a great service.
Great place to chill and enjoy a brief respite from the festive rush, friendly staff and always a great atmosphere
Decent, pricey but the lady that was looking after the tables was on the ball and saw I was waiting with the kids, table cleared in no time.
Bit expensive but all in all a good place to have a sit down after hours of shopping
Was OK apart from the staff packing up the tables and chairs well before closing time and the owner announcing at 8.30pm that the coffee machine was being switched off. I think they wanted us to leave! V unwelcoming
Personally nothing to shout home about! Not much cake selection or sandwich (I can't have Mayo) Nice space easy access for pushchairs etc. Not sure if I'd return unless with friends who wanted to visit.
The system at the counter is crazy. Took three people to take order and supply a herbal tea which essentially involved pouring hot water into a cup.
Went in this eve and my friend asked for a flat white with an extra shot - the guy behind the counter responded with "ridiculous" He was rude and actually quite intimidating. We didn't stay. Appalling
