We had an absolutely amazing time at Watford Mencap's AGM last night. Thank you to all those who attended.
We hope you enjoyed the milkshakes as much as our staff enjoyed their costumes. See you next year 🖖🖖

We're nearly a whole year old and we've been busy thinking of ways to celebrate. We invite customers, staff and trainees alike to write us a message or a happy memory, we couldn't have done it without your support!

Come and take shelter from the cold in Café in The Library, we've got mouth-watering soups, delicious teas and coffees and all served with a smile. Come in and say hi :)

The café team will be there, come down to see what we have planned for the next year. Prizes for the best and grooviest costume so don't forget your peace signs and flower crowns :)

We sometimes go out leafleting with our clients to promote our great services, here is a client raring to go. If you see us around town flash us a smile 😀

The temperature might be going down but the café is hotting up. Today we start our delicious range of hot soups to warm your bodies and your hearts. Choose from our four fabulous flavours and maybe even add a slice of chunky bread for an extra treat! 🥣🍞

We like to go the extra mile for our staff on their birthdays... Let us know when it's your birthday (with ID) and we'll go the extra mile for you with a free hot drink 🎉🎉

As well as our compostable takeaway containers, every penny of profit from our water goes to Water Aid. We also donate our used coffee grounds to local allotments.

It's time for Mr Banana to split. He's had a great time taking part in the Summer Reading Challenge and helping in the cafe. We're sure we'll see him soon for another babyccino. Get yours free with any drink purchase!

I like the food in there it was really amazing and i really enjoyed it and very friendly Volunteers and Staff too

I had a lovely coffee and cake with fruit for the kids this afternoon. Wonderful friendly and happy staff who were brilliant with my chatty little one - we’ll be back for sure :-)

Great location, great space, great service and great cake! What's not to love?! Oh and highchairs and great snacks for the little ones!

Friendly customer focused service, clean environment, reasonable prices, coffee is good, sandwiches etc. good. Logically laid out floorplan with plenty if light. Relaxed place with thankfully no annoying music.



Q. Is there a toilet in the building?

Excellent cafe - really good choice of food and drink and really friendly service. Recommend a visit if you're in town
