I’ve just had the most humorous conversation on the phone with the lovely adnan from cafe masala! The food from here is always amazing and his service with a smile is always an added treat for all you single ladies out there!..... not that he likes to spread the word about that though �

I had an amazing vegan dish with one of the nicest garlic narn breads I’ve ever had! Very yummy! Any vegans that want to feel welcome and enjoy a lovely meal, the staff here are very accommodating and there are plenty of dishes that can be veganised! Give them a go...x

Had an amazing VEGAN meal last night ! I rang the restaurant and explained that me and my partner are vegan, the man on the phone was brilliant and told me exactly what I could have and what I couldn’t ! When we asked for Onion Bhaji’s he said that we couldn’t have the ones on the menu but he could do us a vegan version very similar and they were delicious and just like the real thing! He only one small improvement I could add was that they should label the boxes that the vegan food was in but apart from that it was amazing and I’m so happy we can enjoy a Indian takeaway with the family and be confident in what we are eating ! Great sides and mains bursting with flavour (no problem tailoring my choice to up it to madras strength). Also was lovely to not feel rushed and pressured to vacate the table as soon as we finished. Despite it being very busy we were left to enjoy our evening and let our food go down with another drink. Will be back!

Cafe Masala is the best Indian restaurant i have ever tried.We have been using our regular Indian restaurant in Westcliff for nearly 10 years, but a steady decline was noticed. many of the takeaways seemed to be swimming in oil hardly any meat,i mentioned this to the owner hoping it would rectified, it wasn't our last meal there i had to use paper kitchen roll to soak it up and half the meal vanished in front of my eyes. enough was enough. so we have been searching for 6 months for another restaurant. So far we have tried 5 others without success, until tonight.I hardly know where to begin to tell you how happy we were trying this restaurant, at first i thought it was a little expensive compared to others, but i have to say it is great value. If you are looking for cheap regular curry try elsewhere, if your looking for amazing food, generous portions this is the place, the amount of lamb in my Lamb Dansak was astonishing, my chicken Bhuna was the same, the flavours just blew me away, fresh, vibrant and no any excess oil , the naan bread was still fluffy even though it was a takeaway. easily the most tasty Indian food iv'e ever had. At last i can look forward to Indian food again, i can't wait to try the other dishes.

Today was our 28 th wedding anniversary, and my wife wanted to try The Cafe Masala, after hearing good things about it. We could not have been more pleased. The service was first class, with the staff genuinely pleased that you patronised their establishment. But more importantly, the food was really good, and not at all greasy. Some of the dishes we had never heard of, but sounded delicious just the same. The ambience was, I believe, just right, with a luxurious feel to the decor, and Bhangra videos on multi screens, that were not at all loud, but you could glance up and see Bollywood style dance routines, but I must reiterate, the music was in the background and not at all loud. All in all, I think this restaurant will be seeing a lot more of us.

Banging food great atmosphere very polite and professional staff wheelchair friendly with disabled access and toilet facilities thank you hope to see you again soon
