Went this Sunday just passed, 13/05/18 for my mother's Birthday, straight to the point, the food was spot on and service excellent. All three courses cam out in good time and all together for all 10 of us. The staff have got it just right with being there when needed to be, and not pesting you all the time. We all said we must go back, as we had a great day.

We visited today for the first time today for breakfast with our two doggies, one of which is very nervous! We were made to feel very welcome and had lovely warm service, even both our pups were given water and a treat we will definitely be returning! Thank you again for our lovely breakfast �

We visited for our 16th Wedding Anniversary. Excellent staff, food and hotel. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic evening at the Camelia last night. The food was some of the best we’ve ever eaten and great value for money! The staff were friendly and made us feel really welcome. Drinks out on the terrace overlooking the seafront before dinner are a must! We will be back!

Visited today for afternoon tea, it was totally amazing. I’ve done a few Afternoon Tea’s and this has to be one of the best I have ever had. Perfect amount of sandwiches which all tasted lovely and the cakes and bits were just lovely the perfect amount, my niece had a lovely time and we will definitely be back again

Visited on Sunday for Father’s Day & our Sons Birthday. staff were lovely and the food was wonderful highly recommend, can’t wait to return thank you to all that made it so nice.

Stayed Sunday til Monday and staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Accommodation lovely and very clean. Had a very lovely Sunday 3 course meal for just under £20 and a lovely continental breakfast all sat outside on the decking. Hotel is situated just away from the noise so was very peaceful but you can easily head in to the arcades etc. Free parking at rear, (and great our dog Chilli was welcome too). Would highly recommend.

Our overnight stay was a present for our golden wedding anniversary, and all i can say is that we had a lovely room a very tasty evening meal and a lovely breakfast and all the staff very friendly and helpful, thank you very much.

My friends and I had our Christmas meal get together here last night and it was Absolutely Fabulous! The food was excellent and the staff are the most friendliest and polite you could ever meet. Cannot recommend highly enough. Will be back soon. Thanks for a great night �

My Daughter took me to The Camelia Hotel for afternoon tea for my 60th birthday yesterday. The sandwiches, cakes and scones were delicious. We had a table near the window overlooking the sea and the waitress went out of her way to look after us and make us feel special. This is the second time we have been there for afternoon tea and I would highly recommend it.

I booked a table for hubby's birthday on Sunday evening and I cannot fault the food or service in any way. We love everything about the Camelia and visit as often as we can....food is always great and the staff are really lovely. Special mention must go to Lucy who waited on our table ....she was just fantastic...friendly and courteous and is an absolute gem at her job.....please ensure you keep Lucy at your hotel as you should be so proud of how she represents your excellent business....will be back again without a doubt....

I absolutely love the Camelia Hitel, my elderly Mum is treated like a Queen when she stays. The staff are super friendly and the food is fabulous. Book early, I highly recommend

Had a throughly lovely afternoon tea here with my daughter and two granddaughters, the service was impressive nothing was to much trouble even when my granddaughter wanted more sandwiches because “they were so delicious “ would highly recommended to anyone and I will be back soon thank you for a great afternoon x

Servers were really polite and helpful. We managed to book a table last minute where most places wanted 48 hours notice. In our booking they also managed to cater perfectly for a gluten free diet too (me) which all looked and tasted wonderful!

Food was all well presented and so tasty! And tea was being refreshed regularly. We loved our afternoon tea and will definately be going Back!

Extremely clean and tidy. Felt welcome throughout the stay. Great food and atmosphere. Professional, friendly staff. Sheltered from wind sitting outdoors watching the sea view with smokers’ area totally separate from non-smokers area. Can see the Southend-on-Sea pier from there. Will recommend everyone I know to stay there.

This is a very well run, clean well appointed hotel. Its location is great and the room we stayed in had a fabulous view over the Estury. Lovely breakfast and such friendly staff too.

Such a lovely place to hold my Dad's wake! Staff were so lovely and served hot tea and coffee on arrival which was so needed as it was a cold day. Buffet food was excellent and plenty of it. It was a lovely and peaceful place in the hotel to sit and chat with privacy. Thank you and look forward to coming for afternoon tea.

Lovely hotel and staff Stayed 2 nights excellent food on Saturday evening.

Only thing was Sunday dinner menu changes and it’s lunch not dinner so by time we went for what we thought was dinner was leftover lunch warmed up and not nice so went hungry as no other menu for evening dinner.
