Raising Money 🌟 As you all know, every year we host out Big Coffee Morning (and yes that is still happening) but this year the crew are going one step further with no fewer than 8 of the team throwing themselves out of a plane in the name of raising money!

my daughter and I had a really lovely time at the captains club hotel all the staff were very helpful as im hard of hearing. would love to go there again for a meal.

Wow. We stayed for a night last night and it was amazing the staff go above & beyond, the food was unbelievable, we had treatments in the spa which we loved.

The room was spotless the views were lovely.

I can't wait to return

What a fantastic hotel!!! Me and my husband stayed last night for his birthday in which they upgraded us to a suite, so lovely of them,all very welcoming and helpfull, nothing was too much trouble.we spent the afternoon in the spa relaxing and enjoying a bottle of wine, the ladies in there were lovely. We ate in the restaurant that evening off the 3 course set menu which was brillaint value for money, the waiter was very helpful and answered any questions we had about the food. Thank you so much for making our first stay with you so memorable we are looking foward to visiting again.

We like to visit the Captain'sc Club every time we come to Christchurch. We have had meals, afternoon tea, drinks and coffee. Always receive excellent service. See you again in August!

We held our afternoon tea wedding there yesterday and it was perfect. Cheryl arranged it all for us and it was lovely.

Food was amazing, staff very attentive & nothing was too much trouble.

Our suite was lovely and the champagne on ice was a lovely touch.

We had an absolutely superb stay here at the Captain's Club Hotel and Spa - The hotel itself was delightful, with lovely river views from all rooms. The food was delicious and all staff were friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're anywhere in the vicinity as a GREAT place to stay. Top notch..!! :)

We first visited in 2009 with a view to holding our wedding there in 2010. So pleased we made such an excellent decision that day. The staff and service were fantastic and each time we go in it is a ‘5 star’ each time. We are so lucky living in Christchurch and having such an excellent hotel in our doorstep.

Oh boy is this just what I needed. My husband has cancer and can't eat. I have 2 Labradors and am trying to keep businesses, nursing, dogs, running a home and me going. Where can I possibly go where all of this can be accommodated but give me a rest too. A friend recommended The Captain's Club and I can't thank her enough. We were upgraded to a suite to give us more space and privacy. I have my food brought to the suite so I don't have to eat on my own. My dogs were provided with beds and bowls and with the hotel's location I can walk them straight from the door. I get pampered in the Spa and my husband can rest overlooking the rowing and other water activities from the floor to ceiling windows in the suite. The staff are just fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. All very friendly, helpful and so kind. The Captain's Club is my paradise and I could not ask for better accommodation, staff, food, location and comfort. THANK YOU Captain's Club. You are my saviour!

My partner and I visit regularly, as we live only 20 mom walk away.

We had our second date here, and since several birthday meals, and casual just dropped in Friday evening meals. The food is always both beautifully presented and tastes devine.

Last night wwe walked down for a relaxing glass of wine, or two! Service was excellent, nothing is to much trouble, for any of the staff.

I have had the pleasure of having visited the spa twice, both birthday gifts, and the spa staff were very welcoming, polite and professional. The treatments excellent. Products leave your skin feeling silky smooth, and very relaxed.

Thoroughly recommend a visit!!

If you are looking for a wedding venue don’t look any further than the captains club. Cheryl and her team cover every detail, the food was exceptional and the delivery prompt and first class. It totally exceeded our expectations.

Have been to Captain's Club many times for coffee and lunch. This was my my first visit to the spa. It was a birthday gift for my friend and myself. We had a wonderful day enjoying lunch, spa facilities, full body massage and the most amazing facial ever. We have already booked in for a half day and facial in July. Great experience. Thankyou.

Had champagne afternoon tea with my daughter and mother in law yesterday, the food was lovely, the hotel is great, had a window table with a harbour view. Service was excellent would definitely do this again. Many thanks to all the staff who served us.

Fabulous boutique hotel, very attentive staff, very large clean rooms overlooking the river Stour with huge wet room! Food was super, and even had a couple of hours in the spa! Only stayed 24 hours but will DEFINITELY go back! Highly recommend ��

Amazing time with my mum, for a special treat we had the “after dark” Spa package. The massage was SO GOOD, I felt like a princess afterwards. Thoroughly enjoyable and dinner in the restaurant after was lovely too.

A perfect venue for a perfect wedding! Would like to thank all the staff for your hospitality from the day I arrived on the Friday to the day we left on Sunday. We were all made to feel so welcome and you couldn’t do enough for us. Will be highly recommending Captains Club for any event. Thank you all so much.

Haven’t stayed there but visit regular for breakfasts, lunches, coffee with friends and family. Tim and Robert have created an amazing hotel and the staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. With amazing views of the river all you need is sunshine.

We have been here quite a few times and the food is always very good. The service on the other hand was very slow today. Drinks took 15 mins to arrive and they were not ours. Plates for starters arrived after the food and the wait for our main meal was about the same. For the amount of staff working it was difficult to see why this was the case. Still a great venue though.

Visited Captian's Club with my Mum for a mid-afternoon afternoon tea. Although the food was wonderful (& definitely plentiful!) was disappointed that our tea and coffee due to come with our afternoon tea; although ordered, NEVER arrived - and on both occasions of ordering glasses of prosecco we had to remind staff that we were waiting for them after an extended wait. Other than that, waiting staff were friendly and presentable but just left feeling almost a little like we were inconveniencing the staff slightly by being there! However, would return :-)
