Your great writers need to visit USA,report on the vastly different offerings here on this side of Atlantic. Just spent a week in London, enjoying the car show there. I drive two US built Euro vehicles, the Passat and Merc GLE350. Get a warm patriotic glow,of course. Having my cake and eating it too. The U.S. Accord is quite different than Euro variety. Our BIG mid sized cars, like Accord,Altima,Camry, along with various others that live without shoulder pinching size, pulled by quart-sized displacement mini diesels ,should be brought to your readership. The open spaces, the cheap gas, give one a very different out, look on life. My 16 model rolling stock deserve real accolades. It is hard to tell the Euro Passat from the Tennessee built vehicle in a front view, with restyling this year. The criticism of the non-MQB US VW,is simply not justified. By the way ,y'all should take note of the Jetta SPORT ,a GLI ,but with the sweet 1.8 Tsi,instead of 2.0. The now-Mexican built GLI is such a great value in US,compared to A3. The idiots won't give us a stick with any A3. No way!!

Stil the best car magazine around! CAR leaked out one of the best kept secret in automotive world recently : Marcello Gandini has a twin named Maurizio that designed the Marzal for Bertone ! (September 2015 issue, page 16)

Inspiring stuff... Being a budding writer for your India franchise, all you Bens, in particular, have had a huge impact with your respective writing styles. I just love the way you guys put things across. Cheers.

I recently spent time working in Indonesia - while there I subscribed to three car magazines on iPad - Wheels (Australia), Car and Driver (US) and Car (UK). Each offered a version for iPad. Over the last 12 months, Wheels and Car and Driver have ditched their iPad versions and moved to .pdf version of their hard copy magazines - a worse product at the same price. Car continues to publish a great magazine in a version that takes advantage of the iPad format - thanks!

User

Awesome magazine. A big fan from jakarta. As a graphic designer apart from getting info from the car reviews i also enjoy the layout design of your magazine. SUPERB!

User

It's good!

User

I think this is a very good magazine and you can always let us know the latest news about the car

User

Why have you not road tested the new 2018 XC60? It's only the best selling mid size CUV in Europe. And just about everyone else in the world has written a review. Were you not in Barcelona?

User

Great magazine - but as an international print subscriber it is very frustrating to receive an issue , then see many of that months articles for free on the web site within a day or so. An international print subscription should include the iPad version for free!

Update: My most recent print issue arrived the day the NEXT issue was released digitally!

The new design of digital Car magazine is a disaster on my iPad Pro

I am a long time digital subscriber to CAR, without doubt the best car magazine that I subscribe to.

I was a little taken aback by the size of the text on the Welcome page, but nothing compared to the shock of the text on subsequent pages. I've now tried to read some of the articles several times but it is just plain uncomfortable and tedious.

On my iPad Pro, the text is so large that line scanning completely breaks down for me, and I have to go back and read again and again as I’ve lost the thread.

The high res pictures are as gorgeous as ever. The content I’m sure is great as ever.

I am sure this new design works wonderfully on an iPhone, but for me it is a disaster on my iPad Pro, and I am not one of those thousands of subscribers who reads the magazine on my iPhone.

Perhaps the designers of the new format forgot about those of us who use a tablet. Hopefully, a version of the magazine suitable for tablets will be developed at some time in the very near future.

Until then, consequently and sadly, I will not be renewing my subscription to CAR.

Prior to this new design I would give CAR a five star rating without hesitation.

Best wishes and kind regards

Going downhill. As a subscriber since Small Car and Mini Driver became CAR, I have been a passionate reader. Not any more. Sick to death of reading about Porsches! The increasingly adolescent content and lack of meaty articles about innovation and the industry, is sending me away. I feel no buzz of excitement about the latest issue any more. Sad. Was a great mag once upon a time.

Your are payed from petrol company to say that hybrid Toyota is not good car ,IN ITALY WE THINK ALL THAT YOUR MAGAZINE IS A BIG FAKE SAME AS THE OWNER

User

Pompous, pretentious, and constantly an advocate of the VAG regardless of reliability woes and one ahem, scandal, a magazine for the upper middle class who value brand over quality and value, and a magazine who oooks upon every product with predjudous from its lofty high horse.

User

Magazine is still great. I’ve been reading it for 35 years... Website absolutely terrible. It’s an one continuous advertisement with the odd car picture and article on it...

User

It's renowned for the quality of the writing design and photography. I'm disgusted that they've decided to lower the paper quality to something akin to Auto Express. The latest issue is a limp, dull, cheap sub par product unbecoming of CAR.

Hi CS,

I believe that we have few communications and we reached a resolution on my queries in the below back in Oct, 2017. Unfortunately, I don't think Great Magazine has resolved my issue, specially the my online account issue.

I want to give you an update on your deliverable. I have not yet received the replacement of the September and October issue. Also I have not yet received any issue since January 2018. Will you make any attempt to send me the issue that I have paid for but I never received.

Also my online account management is still with my previous account. The old account has not been deleted as you mentioned in your previous back in Oct, 2017 and I can't register my current account under the # 200001515431.

I am sorry to bother you again but please also understand my frustration as a customer.

Please response with action as soon as possible.

Regards,

Angus

Focusses far too much on high end cars very few of us can afford. Silly articles on how to collect your Bugatti etc. I have given up after 30 years. Can't see the magazine surviving in the long term. The American car mags are better as are the Australian ones.

User

FB Articles and website will not open on mobile devices.... tested on 40 people’s various devices and providers

Multiple attempts made to contact Car Magazine to find out what the issue is.... They refuse to acknowledge or engage

They don’t care which is a shame

Car Leasing section says all prices include VAT... expect NO they do not include VAT and are all Business Only Rates!
