We have a small shop and a huge amount of products so of course sometimes things will get knocked off and some may be fine but others are not.
... But we do ask that if something is dropped that you please let us know, even if it looks fine.
This is purely for us to know that a product needs to be removed from the shelf for customer protection.
Even a small or unseen split could cause a product to become unsafe either through hygiene or being physically unsafe to pick up.

CARIAD UPDATE 😊
You may have noticed that @cariadwholefoods has been a little quiet recently, this was for a few reasons.
1. We wanted to be respectful of Annies sad news announcing the sale of Cariad, we know this was a huge decision for Annie and we know many of our lovely customers love Annie as much as we do so we wanted to give everyone a little time.
... 2. Was because, as you can imagine, the process of taking the wheel of this wonderful shop has had some ups and downs in our first two weeks with suppliers, deliveries and many other integral parts of the Caraid world.
That being said we are pleased to announce that we are almost completely restocked on every one of our products and that Annie her self will indeed still be involved with the shop helping cover a few days a month, and is always available for advice and consultations if needed.
We cannot thank you enough for all of your support over the last two weeks, we strive to continue the incredible work that Annie has started here both with the shop and the local waste free community plus her amazing charity work with the blandford food bank and many more.
We also have some exciting new products coming soon and any suggestions or question are always more than welcome.

NEWS!
As many of you will know, I haven’t been in the shop very much this year. Last year, I was diagnosed with serious long-term illness and despite my best efforts, the considerable stresses, long hours and physical demands of running the business have been hindering my efforts to recover. So, after a huge amount of soul-searching and heartache, I have chosen to put my health first and sell Cariad.
Cariad has been my dream and my baby and this has been the hardest decisi...on of my life but you cannot put a price on health so, whilst it isn’t what my heart wants, it is the right thing to do for my future wellbeing.
I wanted to make sure there is someone at the helm who can give the business the energy and attention it deserves and who will cherish Cariad as much as me. I am very happy to announce that the new owner will be Kris Hamilton, who has been doing such a fantastic job of holding the fort here since the new year. Kris was one of my first customers on opening day and shares my own ethos and passion. He has lots of exciting plans for taking Cariad forward and I hope that you will give him the same generous support you have given me and keep the Cariad flag flying.
I may still be in the shop perhaps once a week to give Kris a day off so hopefully, I will continue to see many of you now and then.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting Cariad and helping make my dream come true for a while. I have loved every minute, met so many amazing people and made some lifelong friends too. Wow, what a truly wonderful health food shop. We made a special trip today to support Cariad with 'Bright Friday'. The owner was doing a fab initiative - the polar opposite of every other establishment fighting for Black Friday custom - for every item bought in the shop to be donated to the local food bank she was matching it. Such a huge and generous undertaking for such a small shop. The owner so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. A fantastic selection of local produce. The chocolate brownie was amazing!! We will definitely be back.

Lovely selection, and very helpful lady. Bought a family set of bamboo toothbrushes, filled up my pasta jar, and bought a biodegradable loofah for washing up. Great stuff. We'll be back.x

I met Annie at Cariad Wholefoods on Friday. A lovely friendly lady with a fabulous ethos regarding natural foods, skincare, house cleaning and herbal health. I was able to purchase biodegradable bamboo toothbrushes, recycled toilet roll and soap nuts (for laundry) at a very cost effective price. We need more people like Annie with a sustainable approach to living.

I love this shop so many wonderful treats it's such a luxury to have fresh gluten free bread instead of the bland dry supermarket stuff. The only disappointment is they keep selling out of brownies before I get there they are probably the best gluten-free brownies ever so it's understandable, the raw chocolate tarts are amazing. I always seem to go in for 1 thing and come out with a bag full. Best of all I have managed to feed my husband some of the vegetarian dishes without him asking "where is the meat?"
