Thank you for all the messages of support over the last few months. We are currently still undergoing building work within the factory. We have no confirmed date for re-opening.

The external rebuilding work is progressing well and the internal refit has now started: we hope to re-open around early August.

Good morning.
Following my post yesterday, I have received some pictures from the directors showing the ongoing works at Carlton Fun Factory.
The crane arrived last week to put the steel work together and work has commenced on the roof covering. The building will then be water tight and we can start on the internal fit out.
... We still have a long few months ahead of us.

Today’s freshly made cake & cupcakes.

we had my sons 4th birthday party with a total of 30 children, I have to say the staff were amazing especially Jordan who was organising the party and making sure we all had everything we needed. my son loves the fun factory so what better place to celebrate his birthday matthew and all his friends had a fantastic time. and a huge thank you to all the staff who helped make his birthday so special xxx we will c u guys in the new year xx

fantastic place for kids/parents.kids can burn off all their energy while adults can have a cup tea and have no stress. the only problem is getting them to go home.

staff are brilliant/friendly

We loved it there and I even enjoyed it going on there,it's got a lot there for all ages which is good and that it's not far from where we live which is good and that they do parties n that is a great idea.its such a massive place it's a awesome place to go with child at all ages �

Took my girls aged 1 and 4 this morning, well worth the drive from Ipswich. Spotlessly clean and friendly staff.



The play areas are perfect for the age ranges, my 4 year was happy playing in the toddler area and the bigger play area.



The cafe is excellent value with kids meals at less than £3



Will definitely return.

Took my 6 year old there Sunday for the first time as I had heard good things about it and was looking for somewhere to take him.



He had an amazing time there and was gutted when I said it was time to leave!



The staff are a huge credit to the place as they were all happy and cheerful and very helpful. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced and very tasty!



My little boy is already asking when we're coming back so will definitely be sooner rather than later.

This softplay is about a 45 minute drive from us but well worth it! Staff are all great, friendly and helpful. Wasn't going to get lunch there with 3 kids to feed but prices were so reasonable we decided to and kids loved it. Play area is great. My 2 year old went in the under 5 area at first but i couldn't see the main play area from there to keep an eye on my other 2 (age 5 and 6) so she went in with them in the bigger playarea and loved it in there and could get up to the top with the help of her siblings. Kids loved the cars which are £1 extra but well worth it. Temperature is perfect in there... Some softplays are so hot! Couldn't fault it thanks :)

This is such a fantastic place! My daughter loves it! Can’t wait for it to reopen and staff are very friendly.

Not being able to get about very much I am so pleased that we can meet our grandsons there. They enjoy it so much it is so lovely to seem them enjoying themselves. The food and drink is very nice as well. We have been there a few times. Apart from one incident yesterday where one little lad was out of control I have nothing but praise for the young girls who soon brought things under control and took care of our grandson.THANKYOU so much girls we will be back x

My daughter's 8th birthday party at Carlton fun factory was absolutely fantastic. Friendly and helpful staff, very well organised and completely stress free. Lots of lovely added extras included in the price and above all else the kids absolutely loved it. Highly recommended.

Me and a friend bought our little ones yesterday. We have indoor play local but have always travelled to this one because of how clean and so much more things to do. I don't usually leave reviews but after our visit yesterday I felt I had to mainly because of the staff that were there. The lady on the front desk and the cafe area were lovely and couldn't do more for us. Kept the kiddies very entertained 😊

I came this afternoon with my 2 children. My eldest fell from hanging from the nets by the steps. No sooner had i gone to check he was ok. There was a member of staff behind Me and the people i was with were totally impressed with how quick she responded the the accident. His absolutely fine now. Im just so impressed with how staff responded and how quick the first aider was checking on him. Xxxx

Came here Saturday for our sons first birthday. Was absolutely amazed with how big it is. How well catered for all ages it is so our 1, 5 & 7 year old all had fun! How lovely and warm it is being a warehouse as we were expecting to be frozen like we are at other warehouse play centres. How lovely and friendly the staff are but most of all how well they cater for food allergies!, never been to a play area that has alternatives. My son could actually have a burger in a bun here!! Absolutely worth the 45 minute drive and 100 percent be coming a lot more often instead of our usually places!!

We do use this soft play quite often and it has been very handy my daughters love it!

Staff are very welcoming and friendly. There is plenty of tables and chairs which is brilliant as i never struggle to find a place to sit. There is a decent amount to amuse the children here its brill!

Im also very impressed with the cakes i have tried several and they have all been yummy!

I do however think the drinks are a little over priced.

A cup of tea at £1.80 seems a little on the expensive side to me especailly when its given in a plastic cup not even a pot of tea. So even when im there 2-3 hours i usually only by one drink otherwise it can get to costly especially by the time the children have all had food and drinks.

Also another point i have to raise is quite often there seems to be alot of staff all in one place but perhaps it would be helpful for parents if a staff member could monitor the play equiptment. I have noticed on a couple of occasions older children have been in the baby area misbehaving!

I have 2 daughters and i struggle to keep an eye on each of them as they need to be on opposite sides of the building from one another due to my oldest needing the larger play area and my youngest needing the smaller area. its a tricky task to watch out for the 2 of them on my own so usually i have to go with my partner now for this reason it can get a bit stressful otherwise running from one side to the other.

Very clean and well thought out indoor soft play with lots of room and plenty of tables & chairs. All the equipment was spotlessly clean and there was a really wide range of activities for children (slides, tunnels, climbing nets, football pitch etc). The food was reasonably priced and a wide selection for both kids and adults. My only suggestion for improvement would be to provide children's toilet seats and steps up to the sinks. They would only need to provide 3 or 4 and would be really appreciated by parents whose children don't enjoy being held over the seat! Really lovely place which we'll definitely revisit.

My 4 yr old attended a birthday party here....having never been, I was really impressed. It looked fresh, safe and lively. I was impressed with the food that was offered to the children (not much was left!). Will certainly come back and would certainly recommend it for parties too.

Great first visit today Clean and spacious well maintained and enough parking. Reasonably priced too although I don't think you should pay for adults. The only reason it's not 5* is that the children's pasta was really not good ... a congealed mess of spaghetti but we will come back and just not have pasta.

Cafe side? Well it took 30 mins in a queue of only 2 people in front and 10 behind ito have a order taken and a further 45mins to get 2 sausage and chips!! Not enough staff and the staff do have wasn't on tills long enough to get queues down. Kept running off n not coming back for 10mins the serve one person and do it again. Ice been here for 1.5 hours in total and I still didn't have my food on table!! I travelled a hour for this and my kids are starving.

Food finally arrived. Considering £3 price diff for sausage n chips kids to adult it was exact same size for one more sausage!! Rip off.

Lady in front had waited 55mins and all her food was burnt.

Came today and I understand it was busy but why an earth let that amount of people in if you can't cope in the kitchen!! Kitchen was closed at around 1.15 for an hour! And even when I did order it still took nearly half hour to come! I will not be using the canteen again I will eat else where after wards which is a shame coz my daughter loves the play area!
