THE ARTS SOCIETY DUKERIES
October 3 – ‘Joan Eardley’ – Amanda Herries will give a lecture on the life and work of the Scottish painter.
Who We Are: Our members enjoy lectures on all aspects of the arts, visits to places of historic interest, galleries, exhibitions, etc., a five day holiday tour and study days on a specialist subject.
... Lectures: are held on the morning of the first Wednesday of the month from February to July and October to December with an extra December lecture followed by a Christmas lunch. Doors open at 10am for coffee, followed by the lecture at 11 am. Lectures are one hour long.
Guests: Non-members are welcome to attend lectures at a cost of £6 payable on the door.
Volunteering: The Society has groups of volunteers who are involved in heritage conservation, church recording and trails of discovery in places of worship or historic buildings.
Young Arts: The Society supports a Young Arts programme each year.

My belly dance troope were invited to dance here on their gala day. Had had fabulous response from everyone there. Hopefully see u all again soon as we hoping to start a beginners belly dance course there soon!

Just visited the new Salon - Tip 2 Toe this afternoon :) what a fabulous team working there, a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere, would definitely recommend a visit :)) x

Had my husbands 40 th birthday on Saturday there it was fab the staff are friendly and the room is amazing everyone had a great time x

Had another lovely morning at toddler group, catching up with the other mummy's drinking tea :-) the two ladies that run it do a fab job, thankyou

Had an amazing evening at the civic centre on Wednesday nite . They held a panto of Aladdin which was Fantasic and funny . The bar staff were polite and helpful . The. Centre was clean warm and plenty of parking spaces . Great nite had by all . I would recommend the centre to anyone .

Had an absolutely amazing night , a great way to spend it with my grandchildren watching the immensely funny, clever & brilliant Aladdin. The centre was clean, warm had plenty of amenities and I would recommend this venue to everyone . Roll on more at the civic centre .

Carlton Civic Centre stands out as a beacon venue. I have used the IT Training suite on several occasions and consider this facility to be the best in this area. I would also mention the manager, Helen Brown who has been more than helpful. I hope that Carlton Civic Centre continues as a beacon establishment in the Bassetlaw area!

Brilliant halloween party! Have come home because my 1 year old is tired but he had a great time! Didn't stop walking and dancing the whole time! I didn't have to pay because of his age, great party and well organised. Thank you!
