Such a lovely weekend fishing lake friendly staff. Sunday roast grt gold plus caravan very clean totally recommend it.

Lovely setting with lots of facilities. Caravan very comfortable and staff were friendly and welcoming. Would visit again

Just stayed here for couple of nights in our tent with my husband step daughter. It was great as you can also take your dogs. Ours loved the space and so much fields to run around in. Toilets and showers were always kept clean. 2 big lakes for those who love fishing. Beautiful kept place. The pool was heated and clesn. The only negative thing was our family also wanted to stay but the website stated no availability for that weekend but when we got there it was only us and another family up in the fields?? May be best to call to double check because there was many spaces. Would definitely return again later this summer.

Just retuned from a lovey relaxing week break with my 3 children, everyone enjoyed them selves very clean, staff friendly and beautiful scenery. Children's entertainer Brian was amazing with all my children and made them feel very welcome. Swimming pool little cold but that didn't effect our week atall �

Just had an amazing weekend camping here with friends, great site with heated pool and a gym. lots of showers clean and modern. Entertainment for children excellent, Adult entertainment great as well.

Just had a lovely weekend here camping with my family and friends. A lovely spot, plenty of space , Great Lakes to fish in, bonus of a heated swimming pool & Loo/shower block was good. The worse thing was the weather. Be back next year for longer !!

Just came back after weekend, lovly quiet location, been twice in 2 months, stayed in lodge which was lovly,warm,clean, clubhouse was gd as halloween, great weekend.

I was lucky enough to win a holiday at carlton Meres when it was coming up to our 25th sliver wedding anniversary. I came with my husband daughter and 2 gran kids we had a fantastic time and went here they and everywhere. I'd recommend it to anyone

Had a lovely couples days staying in a tent . Toilets/showers lovely and clean . Club very nice esp Brian with the children . We had food in the restaurant with was really lovely and the bar was OK a bit under staffed but the three blokes that were dealing with food , drink, money , done really well and polite at all times . Swimming pool had been damaged by some idiot but they soon got it up and running which the kids loved . The shop needs looking at as I think that could be a little earner but not how it is now . All in all a lovely stay

Great place. Arrived with my 2 young grandsons ages 2 and 4 midweek and went to the bar/ restaurant to get wifi. They were immediately given toys to play with so I could sort things out. Looking forward to the kids club this weekend. Brilliant.

Got there Friday with the family and grandparents and got home late last night and what a place , gutted leaving there everyone was always happy so helpful and just a beautiful place to go for a chill

Fantastic little 3 night stay. Matt the general manager was superb. Remembered my name everytime he saw me. Absolute bargain. We stayed in a gold mobile home. It was brand new. Very clean. Also bonus having the beds all made for you when you get there. We will be back.

Came home today after an amazing stay at Carlton Meres Country Park. A wonderful place to visit/stay. The accommodation was spotless, the staff welcoming, beautiful walks beside lake, a great place to chill or have fun. The pool was lovely, the water like a warm bath, very clean! It was however all one depth, which did deter my Mum from going in as she is not a swimmer and was worried she might go under water. A lovely tennis court, which we all took advantage of using. The clubhouse was lovely, friendly people, superb Saturday night entertainment with a very confident young male singer with a fabulous voice. I would highly recommend this brilliant holiday destination, most of the people there were residents, food was excellent, deserves a 5 star rating and a big thumbs up :D

Best resort in the UKKeep it up you are the best bunch of peeps I met in a very long time. Staff you rock

We stayed in a caravan during the October half term week. The site is clean and perfect for fishing as there are two well stocked lakes. As mentioned before, there is a very small shop with limited supplies so bring what you need. Otherwise there is a Tesco about 10 min drive away. The club house is friendly and the food served in the restaurant is generously served, tasty and reasonably priced. The entertainment was good and the kids were clearly having fun. It's a peaceful park and ideal for a quiet retreat.

They need to improve the pool as there is no shallow end and an extra play area by the tent pitches. Highly recommended and will be coming back....

Park is well kept. Music in entertainment complex too loud. Could hear it all over camp site. Toilet and shower blocks clean. Shop is in the reception office sells essential. No shallow end in swimming pool and no pool attendant.

Lovely place to stay, needs more supervision around pool as it was taken over by adult male party on our visit, should allocate slots for adults and children separately, fantastic 2 lakes for anglers, and a very clean and tidy bar/restaurant, couldn't comment on food as not eaten in restaurant, overall had a lovely break.

Love the place ,love the staff.Very clean .But the pool could do with a tidy up and washed every morning as Birds mess on the floor and sun lounges could be up dated .Times of the pool opening are rubbish should be 8-8 as summer and don't need to shut for lunch as there are two life guards.The Sunday lunch is beautiful just wish Resturant was open as bar food is the same every day ,not much to choice .

Its very busy but cramped. Showers dire barely worked just about managed to wash. Rest of facilities and restaurant were amazing couldn't fault. The staff are very friendly and like to make sure everyone is ok. Atmosphere is brilliant. Had to walk quite a distance to get water. My family were very impressed so we give 4 stars. Would definitely recommend it. Walks are well deserved as its beautiful.

I think we could come here again.

Back from 3 nights in a tourer. This site has so much potential but at the moment there are a few things letting it down; mostly the toilet and shower blocks where there was no water in the ladies showers on two mornings that we were there and they were not clean. The pool was great for the kids but it was a shame it was out of action till 1.30pm on Sunday and could have done with a better system of allocating time slots when it was busy. Overall we had a good weekend.

Hear now not happy. Would not say it's ideal for kids as not much on. Have an out side pool but no shallow end witch is hard if you have more then one child. Can also bring dogs on site just a shame that some owners don't clear there dog mess up as spoils it for this who do. Already had one child stand init. And don't no how many times I've seen dog mess about. Also have a little shop on site could stock more just have the bear essential. Showers could do with being improved and being more cleaner. Also I no it can't be helped but do bring wasp traps as they are just every wear.
