Carolyn'S Childcare

I offer Term Time Childcare provision to all families. I am registered with CIW and cater for pre-school and school aged children. Open 8am-6pm Weekdays. l am a provider for the funded childcare offer for 3 to 4 yr olds.

Each child's needs are met within a varied weekly curriculum. Carolyn's Childcare provides a secure and stimulating environment for children to grow and develop.

Regular routines provide structure to each day with activities and outings planned around them. Activities include messy play, painting, crafts, stories, role-play, singing, sand and water play , gardening, baking and more. . . .

Larger play equipment such as tents and tunnels will be available to use outside.

Outings include the local park, woods, Greenfield Valley , toddler groups, shops and the library.

I am able to provide a range of Welsh language activities. My sons attend a Welsh medium school and are bilingual.


As an experienced Early years /Special needs teacher, I have catered for the individual needs of children for many years. I offer multi-sensory activities which are fun and appropriate to a child's age and stage of development.

The provision is situated in a semi rural location in the village of Carmel near Holywell. On a quiet lane, bordering farmland.

The Children will have access to 3 indoor areas. There is a ground floor WC with hand washing facilities. Outside there is a spacious lawned area and a sheltered area to play under- Ideal for rainy and sunny days.

A long drive provides parents with a safe drop off and pick up point.

A healthy menu includes fresh fruit and vegetables each day. I have Paediatric first aid training which is updated regularly.

Any special requirements will be considered and catered for( cultural, religious, diet )

Lunch is included in the morning session and a light Tea is included in the afternoon session. A mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack will be provided.

Pickups and drop offs to local nurseries and schools may be available.

Visits and taster sessions are now available.
