Happy Science Week! Here is an image all about Maps and Science! And Careers too! It is a Geological Map of Nijar in SE Spain. I hand drew and coloured this over 6 weeks in my 2nd year at University. It shows Biology - Fossil animals (Sea creatures including - Sharks, Bivalves and Coral), It shows Chemistry - what is the composition of the minerals that make up the rocks AND it shows Physics - how the earth has moved to expose this shallow ancient reef.. What a super couple of days up in beautiful Cumbria - showing the children at Sedbergh school the resources ! They loved seeing them, meeting us all and chatting Maps! Showing 120 children about how Maps interact with the different subject!

Today I visited the local Industrial Estate. One of many in Bedford for me to visit. It was a beautiful chilly morning and it was #WalkingWednesday ... I visited many different organisations - small, large, corporate, old and new!
