It was on this day 32 years ago Caspian opened its doors! Back in 83' the people of Birtley didn't know what a Kebab was

£90 order at work for kebabs... beautiful food! Massive portions. Would recommend to anyone. Not a single complaint at work

Must admit we haven't been for a few years but I have to admit tonight the kebab was unbelievable. A proper kebab made up like you would expect to get a kebab, Not in a carton but in the pitta bread with salad on top.

I had a chicken and shish kebab on Thursday 17/3/16 and it was 1 of the best kebabs I have ever had, it was huge I couldn't eat it all, definitely recommend anyone to try this shop I don't think you will be disappointed

Been coming here since I was about 7-8 and it’s still the best Kebab I’ve ever had.

Food is lovely but u dnt get much kebab wen your paying 9.40 for a XL kebab you should get loads of meat where you get only a little bit which wud feed 1 person if yr going to charge for a XL kebab you should be serving an XL kebab cz to me there very small

We have been coming here for years and after moving to Scotland it was good to come back when home for Christmas. However our order was not good. We ordered at 5.45pm and were told the usual 20 mins. We arrived after 30 mins and they had still not done the order- when one staff member she’d the pizza guy for our pizza he looked shocked as if he didn’t know what was being ordered, yet we ordered this on the phone and the order was written on the paper (which I saw). The pizza then needed to be made. The order was also not correct. We ordered:



A lamb kebab;

A house special kebab, no onions and chilli sauce (they put onions on this);

A 10 inch thin bolognaise pizza with no extra mushrooms and onions (we got extra mushrooms and onions on this);

Bolognaise, cheese and chips



We went in and the kebabs were ready but the pizza was not. They then decided just to put the kebabs on the customer bench where the breeze of the door cooled them down and we had to ask them to put the kebabs near the oven to keep them warm whilst they made the pizza. It appears that the pizza was someone else’s with stuff just shoved on top which is why it had lots of onions and mushrooms. It rather had extra mushrooms and onions or the uncooked onions were just quickly put on top of the pizza instead of mixed in with the bolognaise.



So out of all the order, the pizza had stuff on we did not ask for and the kebabs were stone cold as they had been left on the counter before we had to ask them to keep the food warm.



Not a pleasant visit as the food and service are usually spot on!
