Our thoughts go out to the family at this sad time such a terrible thing to happen.
... Never listen to the news.... It wasnŌĆÖt a bouncy castle that exploded but a SEALED inflatable TRAMPOLINE.
Think the fact that it wasnŌĆÖt a bouncy castle needs to be highlighted. The pic attached is of the unit in question. ItŌĆÖs a sealed inflatable trampoline not a bouncy castle. Just like a blow up travel mattress or paddling pool. Bouncy castles are not sealed units so canŌĆÖt expand over pressure and blow up etc. They have a constant air flow as air is escaping through all the stitching so cool air is always flowing.
The unit that exploded was fully sealed rubber so the heat expanded the material and as it was a trampoline and made very tight so they could jump high on it didnŌĆÖt help. The pressure would of been immense in the heat expanding to dangerous level it did to explode. The unit should of never been put up in that heat and should of been under inflated to allow expansion. Bouncy castles are fine when used correctly and will never explode as they are not fully sealed.
IŌĆÖve been dealing with bouncy castles for over 10 years now and anyone in the business will know this.

Why is this important?
The Showman's Guild Community have been resident in Feltham for in excess of 100 years. They have lived as a Community in partnership with the wider Feltham Community as the Town has grown around them. The land and properties are mainly individually owned by the Showman Residents with some properties being Council Housing. The Community have built their Homes on this Estate. They base their well established traditional Businesses in this area; raise the...ir Families and contribute to the wider Community. A lot of the residents in the Station Estate Road and New Road that are being threatened were born and have lived all of their lives in this close knit Community as have several generations before them. Feltham has recently been designated a Housing Priority Area and Hounslow Council has formulated a Master Plan in accordance with this. This Master Plan has identified Station Estate Road and the adjoining New Road Homes for development and is the only site identified that is already Residential. The Residents in this Community have been informed that they would have to relocate if this Plan goes ahead - this is against their wishes and insults the Heritage of this Community. The Council have not made any plans for this Community; they have no idea where they would relocate this Community and no understanding of the needs of this Community. Any land designated for the Showman's usage needs to be sanctioned for their sole use and be deemed appropriate; they cannot just be given open land. On Station Estate Road and New Road they have built their Homes and storage for their Businesses. The multi-story development that the Council is proposing is not necessary and not wanted by the wider local Community. It would remove the open Suburban feel of Feltham that you get when leaving the Railway Station. The additional properties being proposed would put additional strains on the Feltham Infrastructure. What a day ’┐Į’┐Į:-) the kids have loved it ┬Ż7 or ┬Ż5 with a voucher and every ride is free. How can you find value for money like that anywhere else. The food was lovely cant beat a good burger, they have slush and sweets was great.The staff are great, they're friendly and lovely with the kids, I've been to the Wakey 1 and Kingsley and plan to go to Birstall too. At the wakefield 1 I was with my 2 children and both needed an adult to ride the bumper cars as they are only small and the lad even went on with my son so we could go on all together. Fantastic service’┐Į. Went to there wrist band fair pound a voucher so I only paid 4.99 best value day out in a long time lots of rides to choice from lots of mascots to have photos with looking forward to going to the next one cheers

We went today at thirsk with our lg (5yrs) and our lb (2and a half) they both loved it , no queuing plenty to go on for little ones , very friendly staff , my little boy started moving on a ride (his never done this before) and the guy stopped it straight away and got him settled again and started it again . Longer rides too normally they are only on a couple of minutes but they get chance to enjoy them . Thank you would highly recommend people to go . Great value for money ’┐Į

We have been 3 times now twice last year and once so far this year, 3 daughters ages 12, 11, and 8 and all three of them throughly enjoyed it, ┬Ż6.99 a wrist band is a bargain, great rides the waltzers are fast which is great, and my youngest loves to see all the characters walking around and interacting with the little ones, again thank you from me and my girls xx

Thankyou for the most amazing morning we recently one the most recent competition that meant my daughter got a MASSIVE hamper of chocolate, a large Peppa pig toy and also a Peppa pig mascot delivered it to her! She was so happy and the costume and service was brilliant really made her feel at ease as at first she was abit taken back but with the brilliant service it didnŌĆÖt take her long to open up and was giving the mascot lots of hugs and kisses! thankyou so much couldnŌĆÖt recommend enough! Will defiantly be ordering one for her birthday!! X

Just got back from the wristband fair at Cleethorpes, would recommend anyone to go down lot and lots of rides for very little money, kids have been on every ride more than once without having to queue up, rides are not your normal 30 seconds and done and are well worth it, all staff were lovely and friendly. Might even go for a second visit later in the week

Amazing service!!! My partner won a competition for a free bouncy castle for 3 hours, 15 bags of candy floss and mascot hire. We thought it was another facebook con but it sure wasnt!

The mascot we got was Skye "which the kids loved" the castle was of a good size and to make things better we were told we could have the castle until just now "2130 Sat night" so instead of the orgional 3 hours we got around 30 hours of fun :) i now have one happy little girl whos friends think shes amazing as Skye sleeps at her house ’┐Į’┐Į once again thank you! I cant stress how much i would reccomend these !!

Absolute bargain for ┬Ż6.99. We visited 6 lane ends 3 times last year and also the year before. The staff are friendly and my kids loved the rides. We canŌĆÖt wait for the fair to visit us again this year ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

We went yesterday with our 3 year old, there as lots of rides and entertainment which was great. However the rides some needed really replacing and I feel arenŌĆÖt safe, and very old some of them.



My daughter went to get onto a ride (the frozen one with Olaf in the middle and it goes round and round) and she caught her leg on something sharp, it sliced through her leggings and cut her leg! After this she was so upset and wouldnŌĆÖt go on other rides as she was scared she would hurt herself again. The man in charge of the ride didnŌĆÖt seem too bothered at all.



Also the trampolines, the one with like 6 ŌĆśbedsŌĆÖ.. the metal steps leading up to the trampolines are completely broken and need sorting or replacing. It was like if you stepped on the middle of each step the end of the step would almost flip up as if one end wasnŌĆÖt screwed down properly. Very dangerous!



Please look into health and safely and replacing old equipment. The fun fair was great and my daughter enjoyed it there, but as I say the rides and how they are let it down.
