Thanku thanku so much!!! You made my sons birthday!! Hes 13 today hes autistic and because he finds it hard making friends for his 13th i asked what he wanted to do as with other 2 itd be sleepovers pizza parties etc, he said all he wanted to do was go Chiquitos as hed never been. We had cake and ice cream at home as cant b out too late or he doesnt sleep enough then is grumpy nxt day so we only had a main and drinks. What your staff did at the end wen we asked for the bill was above and beyond customer service, coming over with a brownie with a candle and singing Happy Birthday to him!!! Really made it feel like a party for him! Thanku so much you cant understand how small things like that make it so much more special for people!!

I just had a super meal with friends here this evening. The food was fresh and beautifully presented. Our waitress called Larissa was so friendly and helpful too. We would be very happy to eat here again. Thank you for a lovely evening �

I have been several times to this restaurant and find it amazing. The food has always been good the service better than a lot of places I have been. Staff have never been rude in fact I would say the opposite. It is always clean. When we have arrived and its been busy they always tell you how long you will have to wait, then it's your choice if you want to wait. I liked it so much that I have just had my Birtday there this week and it was fantastic they couldn't have done anymore I had a great time and will be going back soon.

Food was delicious 😋 service very good, lovley staff. Atmosphere good. Would definitely recommend.

Food was nice. Service was good, however our waitress turned into a waiter halfway through. I’m assuming her shift was up. But the bloke didn’t have a clue when confronted with the voucher from the app. Which left us waiting for a further half hour than needed to pay the bill.

13 of us ate here last night food and service was great. But then we were hit by a surcharge on our bill as we were a group of more than 8 they stung us with a extra £21 on our bill. So be aware don't get caught out.

So so upset. We spent over 2 and a half hours tonight in the restaurant and ended up with just 1 course. This had been planned for over a month as our son had specifically asked to go to celebrate his 7th birthday. I phoned to book for 6pm and we arrived at ten to. We Pre ordered a birthday brownie and advised them that my son was autistic so could struggle with long waits and lots of people round him. The table was not reserved where we requested but this was easily rectified as the restaurant was not busy. We were able to sit where we had requested , in a quitter area booth. There was a long wait for taking our food order -around half an hour although we did manage to order drinks. We were a setting of cutlery short too. The mains took over 50 minutes from ordering our table was not cleared for 20 minutes after we had finished (even then not completely as we had to wait 5 minutes for her to return to get the last 2 plates and ask for dessert menus) as our menus were taken we couldn't even use the time to look at the dessert menu. The poor waitress was running around all over the place-they were so understaffed. The table next to us arrived, ate and left before our mains arrived! Our mains were not of usual standard at all but we were so hungry by the time they arrived we were just grateful to eat and as it was our sons birthday we didn't want to create a fuss! Our desserts didn't arrive after another 20 minutes so we asked to cancel them and have the bill. Apologies were given and they bought the birthday brownie out at 8.15 just before we left.The thing is you only get to celebrate your child's 7th birthday once. When you have a child on the spectrum-everything has to be managed especially time scales. Feel very disappointed and let down on what should have been a fabulous stress free family occasion. He chose not to have a party but to have a meal instead. For us this was 3rd time unlucky at this restaurant. They did give us a discount to be fair but I begrudged paying anything for a spoilt night especially as it was a birthday "celebration". I don't know what happened tonight but we won't be returning in case it happens again-it just isn't worth the disappointment. I've given 2 stars because we previously loved it and the waitress did her best they just didn't have enough staff-which in school holidays is ridiculous. Thank you for spoiling my sons birthday for us all. 😩😥😡

I've gone for a 2 because the staff were polite.

1. Place was a tad "to be desired" round the edges... (food on floor, menu grimy, collapsed chair)

2. Our portion size for the price was dismal (teaspoon of coleslaw in a pinch pot, handful of chips SPREAD across the plate like pick up sticks with steak lumped on top! (We know your game)

3. Our steak was awful. Asked for rare, but it was SUPER rare. Which made the massive lumps of connective tissue, fat and sinew inedible.

4. Desert was supposed to be served in a cinnamon basket.. nothing cinnamon about that! It tasted like a cream cracker toasted under a grill.

Unimpressed. Defo won't be visiting again

Went to this restaurant last Wednesday. What can I say, It was appalling. The service was dreadful, very rude staff. Long wait on food and drinks took over half hour to arrive. I asked for the bill but before I could say I have a cinema card he had walked away. When he came back I gave him the card and he shrugged his shoulders and said whatever. He then didn't return. Another waiter came over and gave me my bill. When I then said about the service, she abruptly and rudely apologised. Me and my partner then suffered with food poisoning as the chicken was burnt on the outside but obviously not properly cooked at the centre. I can definitely say I will not be returning to this restaurant or any of your other restaurants.

Very poor show Chiquitto’s. Two loyal customers turned away due to ‘no tables’ when there are a row of two seaters at the bar blatantly empty. Made worse by trying to tell us that you don’t serve food at those tables when we regularly eat there! I don’t know who you were Sir but you’ve just lost some regular, loyal customers. What a shame.

The times we've visited the restaurant to eat in have always been wonderful, but today we tried your takeaway service and were bitterly disappointed.

First of all the burger we ordered was missing several of the items and condiments that were supposed to come with it, secondly the sweet potato fries, regular fries and onion rings were utterly inedible. They were so soggy they were practically coming out of the boxes as mush, and just about everything was luke warm at best.

We called the restaurant to inform them of the poor quality of food we received, but were essentially met with "what do you want us to do about it?".

Not good enough.

Last visit was vile and so was the manager and the waitress. I will not visit again, I would say it’s marginally better than Frankie and Bennies. Put pictures on their Twitter feed and filled in the compliant form and heard absolutely nothing back.

I don’t ever complain. But having food served cold in a restaurant to all of us is terrible and expecting us to pay for it. You’re having a laugh. Never have I had food this cold served before! No service from the waiter for drinks, no service at all. Never again will I eat hear, diabolical service.

Have used this restaurant many times in the past,but seems to have gone downhill today. Burnt nachos,chicken with pulled pork(tasteless) and chips(luke warm). Mock-jitos have shrunk and to much ice.And what's in the little pot ? Service very mediocre.Certainly needs to improve all round. Very disappointed. Could hear other people complaining too ! Better value and quality at McDonalds.
