Less fancy than Southend Pier, but much nicer than Walton Pier. Good selection of rides for kids, loads of £1 a go ride on cars which is a nice option. Much was closed in November, understandable but world's have been nice if the big bar at the end was open.

First time visiting Clacton-on-sea pier. There's lots of rides and activities of all ages to do. The arcades and bowling area seemed good, nice level of music and bright colour schemes make the place look nice. The arcade machines are also great and the prizes are generous. Great for youngsters and children. Nice views over the sea front and the beach. Recommend

A great time had by parents and grandparents with children in a classic seaside resort. Old but well maintained pier offers older and newer stalls and Sweet shops. Just a 2 minute walk into town too.parking not too great but I got lucky. Patience and smiling goes a long way!

Lovely pier with great views and things to do. Places to eat, buy alcohol and plenty of space and facilities for all including babies, disabled and pets. They also host a Jamaican Independence Beach party every year which is a fantastic turn out celebrating diversity and culture. They actually host many events which include live music and comedy performances. Love it!

Great Pier on the Essex coast. Not too great for parking in and around the area. Accessing Rides have become more complicated since they got rid of their token system, which is great for a few rides for smaller children.

Good fun for the young ones. Took my two four year old nieces and they really enjoyed themselves. Options were quite limited considering the price of the Tiny Tots wristbands though (£7.50 each and only about 5 rides) and they were really upset they couldn't go on some rides without an adult. One of me and two of them meant this wasn't an option. I'd go back but maybe not bother with the bands again.

Nice sandy beach with all usual sea side facilities. Just little bit difficult to get parking hence 4 star.

Had fun with some of my friends there although the people who work on each ride could've been a little bit enthusiastic as they look they just want to finish the job and get the money. Come on, it's supposed to be fun, try smiling or something.
