Stayed last night with the wife for a swingers night, a really brilliant night of entertainment. The staff were all of superb quality as was the food and our room 102.
Looking forward for another excuse to spend the night there again even though we only live 15 miles away. Thanks s million, really impressed
Stayed last night before our main holiday at Hopton on Sea. Great room, just what we needed for the night. Excellent food and entertainment. Would fully recommend. ��
Rooms comfortable and clean the staff very helpful and food excellent. Four of us were at the party night last night. I can recommend it DJ very good. Love this hotel and they do the best afternoon tea even if you’re gluten free.
Made a last minute decision to go to the Motown night and we had the best time. The food was lovely, the staff can't do enough for you and the room was very good. Will definitely be going again �

I think the Cliff Hotel is a brilliant place to be at. I know my daughter used to work there but in all honesty I speak from how I myself have experienced it. I am not posh but felt like royalty sat on the veranda, over looking the sea, having one of their special high tea's.. Although I only live 10 minutes away, it felt like it could have been a hundred as I let my imaginations get carried away with me and I pretended I was on holiday. The staff were really nice and although prices are maybe a little on the high side, it is well worth going just for the experience. I will most certainly be returning but may just wait for the whether to improve to make my experiences even more enjoyable. Well done Cliff Hotel and keep up the good work.

Me & my sister attended their Motown event last night & the meal was 1st class, the rooms were lovely & breakfast this morning was so nice.
Hope to return in September for the 80s weekender �
Haven't been to the cliff for over a year . Booked a night away to finish off a weekend of birthday celebrations for my Husband and we couldn't fault it . Excellent food, lovely staff , lovely sea view room. Couldn't fault the Cliff , it's a little gem in Norfolk and not far from home either !!
Had a lovely � meal in there newly open restaurant food was so good
Great place to chill with either a fresh coffee and cream scone or, if you're a little bit hungrier, you can plumb for fresh baguettes or crispy battered fish and chips. The view of course is a great added extra. As you can tell, I'm a little bit biased living in Gorleston �
Cant believe some peoples comments but heres mine.
We came for a wedding & reception on 13/5/17 and the staff couldnt do enough for you.
The place is amazing lovely views across the sea and beach.
We had a finger buffet and they was plenty and was very tasty.
I would recommend this hotel for weddings.
One other thing special mention to the 2 girls behind the bar raquel and rachael very charming and polite thank you all for making my brothers and sister in law a fantastic day
Brilliant place very friendly staff n they treat everyone the same. Will defo be going back.
10/10 We all enjoyed a lovely Carvery which was affordable priced 👌🏽Service was excellent all round .. Intertainment (Elvis) was fantastic.. will all be coming again on a Sunday afternoon.. Nice atmosphere all round 🍽🥂☕️ Well done 👍🏽
Still a yummy place, hadn't visited for over a year, the food is very good, hot chunky chips, very tasty sandwich although bread a bit stale. Always a great atmosphere and staff extremely busy but customer service was good, asked how meal was and the cocktail list sounded yum!! Hoping this place doesn't go under like so many round here, it's also good for allergies with good selection on kids menu. Last time we visited was not so good so noticed improvement after our year of not coming. Keep it up, we will be back. Thank you x
View, food are lovely. Drinks are a little overpriced. But the service, even when not busy is just soooo slow.
Went for food Sunday evening. Who every the chef is needs replacing, the food was horrendous. I asked for lasagna but when it turned up it had no pasta in it, it was just slop ! My children had the meatballs and spaghetti, the meat balls had so much garlic in them it made you feel sick just smelling them. When I complained about my meal they let me order a cheeseburger instead which turned up with a dirty great hair hanging out of the bun and about 4 chips �.
The staff however were lovely when I complained about our food and couldn't be more helpful. Just sake the kitchen staff as it was disgusting !!
No atmosphere, and not a smile to be found on any of the bar staff faces. Clearly morale is terrible. Given the presumed Bar Manager walked around all night wishing he was elsewhere, it’s no wonder. Before dinner, he simply slapped a piece of printed paper on our table to inform us the area would be cleared to allow the DJ to set up. Without saying a word, he repeated this on 2 or 3 other tables.
Such a beautiful venue on a warm summers evening but with staff like this, best avoided.
