Clumber Park Club Site Description

A great feeling of spaciousness can be found at Clumber Park Caravan Club Site, which is settled on 20 acres within a generous 4, 000 acres of lush parkland, where you can walk, cycle or ride. The caravan site has a popular play area and enjoys an attractive setting surrounded by woodland. Children will enjoy Clumber Park as it is part of what was once Sherwood Forest and the reminders of the area's most famous resident, Robin Hood are plentiful.

We stay here at the weekend so we could go cycling round Clumber. What a lovely place to stay. We were watching the squirrels and birds while eating breakfast. The staff are really friendly and the on site pizza van was just what we needed after a day of cycling. Thank you very much.

User

We love Clumber Park Caravan club. The grandchildren love it too. Lots to see and do walking cycling children's play area the best we have come across its fenced off to keep the children safe. Excellent toilet shower blocks. Helpful wardens all in all a great place. Would recommend a visit to Cresswell Crags during your stay well worth a visit

User

The site is in a beautiful location, we went for the Halloween weekend and it was such a fabulous atmosphere with so many people putting an excellent effort in to decorate caravans and my daughter loved the trick or treating! Definitely would recommend it to anyone!

Saturday 29 October- First time out with our caravan, so chose a local site & it was brilliant!! We wasn't expecting anything happening for Halloween but found that lots of the vans etc were decked out & lots of the kiddies & adults had gone to a lot of trouble to dress up. The atmosphere was so lovely & relaxed - it made our evening actually. Everyone super friendly. Our 6 year old loved it. The site is beautiful & the facilities good. We didn't have any issues with TV reception. No Wi-Fi but that didn't bother us. Didn't really have any dealings with staff so can't comment. We will definitely be coming back to Clumber Park for a few days over the Xmas break.

Me and my partner and 2 dogs have just returned from another stay at Clumber Park Caravan Club site. It is my favourite site. I just love the area, the staff are lovely, the facilities clean and the other caravanners friendly. We didn't want to leave. Can't wait till our next visit.

User

Lovely site, great for escaping the phone signal and wifi.

Certainly some peaceful walks from this site.

But beware of going shopping in Worksop for food... don't bother, you will get lost, head to ollerton instead.

We loved this site and will go back, even if we use it as a stepping stone to the north.

Thanks also to the wardens they do a wonderful job.

User

Love this site, all really good pitches, so peaceful & quiet, love listening to nature at its best, the forest is on the doorstep you only pay if you drive in but why drive when it's such a lovley walk or bike ride, we have been on several different pitches & never had an issue with the wifi, when we first used the site we didn't have a tv cable for a signal so we streamed Netflix & bbc I player, excellent

User

Love it here! Spacious pitches.

Our little one made loads of friends but they were all respectful and came in at a reasonable time so the site was lovely and quiet come bed time.

Fish and chip van and pizza van a very nice touch.

Showers lovely and clean.

We will definitely be back.

User

Left here a week ago after our second visit. We love the fact there is no phone or wifi on site. We didn't miss the TV either. A totally chilling experience. The setting is great, so many places to walk with the dog. The site is very well kept and the wardens very helpful.

User

I love clumber I got alot with my dogs it's a great family day out or great just to go with dogs. Is massive & always thing going on. You will loose signal but that's the beauty of it. They do have great internet though if In such a beautiful place you still want to look at your phone.

User

Had 4 great days here every day out cycling around Clumber Park best place we have been to yet.

Site has no internet or mobile phone coverage who needs it when you can see all the beautiful countryside.

The wardens were lovely very friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble.

The visitor facilities were great for a stop for coffees and a bite to eat National Trust expensive but having no other food or drink stop well worth it although we did find a small van called Beryl around the lake which was also a good stop ran by two young girls.

We intend on going back.

User

Best site ever if you love walking and nature , bit disappointing that you now have to pay to go in to the park with your car think you can walk in for free but it was nice to nip down to the coffee shop . Definitely get a bird feeder it’s very entertaining watching the birds and the squirrels.

Showers always clean as is all the site . Been all year round

User

A fantastic place to relax for the weekend

User

We have just had a very enjoyable week, our first at Clumber! Our 2 boys (10 & 6) had the most fun filled week using the park and exploring the woods, making dens and climbing trees! We had wonderful woodland walks and a great opportunity to relax with no wifi/phone/3G. Facilities were good and wardens friendly

User

This was our first caravan/towing experience and what a fabulous first adventure we had. A beautiful location and super clean.

User

Staff are friendly and welcoming, asked if I could stay another night and it was no problem. Only niggle was toilet block nearest to me shut and had a bit of a walk for the showers and washing up - but it lovely to walk through the trees anyway. Clean site and gorgeous surroundings - right next to forest trails and avenues of trees. Amazing.

User

Nice site, very friendly staff, great location, would stop there again, only downsides, it says its clumber park but it isn't, you have to pay to go into the park, also I know you don't park your caravan in the woods for the WiFi but it's advertised as gold standard whatever that is meant to mean but it's truly terrible, the best I got wasn't close to dialup speeds and peak times it just wasn't there at all.

If the site was renamed "near clumber Park with rubbish WiFi" I'd have given it 5 stars

User

Lovely site in superb surroundings, lot's of dog walk, cycling and picnic opportunities.

No phone signal whatsoever and wi fi is rather hit and miss.

2 amenity blocks including dog and cycle wash. Fish and chips on site Friday's, woodfired Pizza on Saturday's.

We'll be back!
