What a fantastic week we're having!! As well as lessons, lots and lots of trekking this week and our fabulous Beach Party Day on Tuesday, it's been an exhausting, but fabulous week. Thank you to the sun for making our day on Tuesday so special! More pics to follow :) x

Can I just remind everyone on the Beach Party Activity Day tomorrow to bring swimming clothes and a towel as the hot tub is warming nicely!! :) x

What a fantastic showjumping event we had on Sunday!! Thanks to everyone that took part and the staff that stayed to finish off the yard. Don't forget it's our dressage comp tonight 5 til 7pm :) x

We had so much fun at the fantastic Butterly House last week. Feeding the animals and lorikeets was the highlight for me! Then back to trek out in the beautiful woodland surrounding our centre. Finally with the help of Rachel for doing crafts reminding us of our day with the children on the activity day. Thanks to Lyndsey for coming to help with the children and Nikki for the fab photos as usual. Also thanks to my yard staff who kept the fort going and Gail for her amazing teaching all day Tuesday! What fabulous reviews!! x Don't forget we have Slime day tomorrow! Unicorn Day, Beach Day and Showing and Showjumping Day all through summer! :) x

Wow...Fabulous lesson today Gail however will probably feel it more tomorrow!!! Enjoyed every moment and felt in just that one hour I have learnt and progressed so much. Thank you again and hopefully you will venture out to teach next week �

What a lovely day we had here on Sunday for my daughters 18th treck and treat surprise we booked for her. Leah a very confident rider so she was fine , me her mum very scared but the staff were brilliant!! Beth really looked after me on arura, and Maizie looked after Leah’s best friend Alice. All went fab!! We will be booking again that’s for sure. Thanku. X

Went here for the first time today and had a lovely 2 hour hack around Welbeck and Creswell Craggs on Pandora. It was very busy but the staff were very friendly and made me feel at ease. They assessed me before they took me out to make sure I could ride well enough which I thought was very good. Thank you. I will definitely be coming back again.

Was brought here for my anniversary for a (known about) pony trek and a (surprise) carriage ride. From the moment we arrived the staff went above and beyond. The horses were amazing and clearly loved, the location is fantastic and all in all I can't wait to come back!!!

Took my two daughters for thier first riding lesson at the beggining of this month and they loved it. My oldest daughter was extreamly nervous but the lovely staff reassured her and stayed by her side until at the end of the lesson she was able to trot without feeling as scared. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and classes are well organised. I have been to riding schools myself in the past who seem to do it for the money but this place seems to genuinly care about their customers and their horses too. I would definately recommend coloured cob equestrian centre x

Thank you for a lovely introduction to your Equestrian Centre. Beautiful yard, gorgeous well cared for horses and the staff and helpers were very polite, easy going, friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and extra effort to make the experience personal to us. Really happy and cannot wait to book some lessons. Being a disabled rider I tend to have some nit picks in that I favour a slimmer horse, ideally forward going but not too strong and my condition is variable from day to day, but everyone was patient and accommodating and I LOVE the mounting block <3 thank you for a very memorable afternoon - big kudos to Georgia for putting up with us for 2 hours ;) haha

My little boy had his party here last month. Just a small group of tiny tearaways (4yr olds!). Amy & Cerys did a brilliant job of keeping little hands and minds busy and my boy and his pals had the very best time. Highly recommended.

My daughter's birthday party was amazing. All 12 children can't stop talking about it as they had such a good time. They enjoyed the trek around Cresswell Crags followed by grooming (they even taught me to plait) with horsey games to end ensuring they were ready for their food. Staff were patient and friendly with nothing being too much trouble. Thank you for making her day so special.

My daughter had a Unicorn Pony Party here and it was fantastic! All the staff are friendly, the ponies are gorgeous and very well behaved. The day was a magical experience for the group of 8 year olds, they all enjoyed it. The craft, rosettes and t-shirt were a lovely touch and we were able to have our party food in the room provided without feeling rushed. Great service in such a picturesque setting. We will be back �

My daughter Lily had her first ride with Coloured Cob today and absolutely loved it! She hasn’t stopped talking about her time riding Pikachu � what a wonderful experience she will never forget. She’s already said it was her “best day ever!”

The only thing I would love to see going forward is a lot more interaction with the the walkers and the riders. It looked like the some walkers beside the ponies were chatting a lot and not focusing their full attention on the children. Other than 100% happy! Xx

My daughter Ava came to her first pony lesson this morning, to say she loved it was an understatement. She’s only 3 so was a little shy at first however Julia and Heather were so kind and friendly with her that she was chattering away in no time and even had a go at trotting! Since we have got home Ava has taken to trotting around the house as opposed to walking. She cannot wait to come to her next lesson and a massive thanks to Julia & Heather for making Ava’s first lesson such an enjoyable experience!

I can't praise these guys enough. The staff were so friendly, helpful but yet professional. I haven't been on a horse for years due to fear but they put my mind at ease, weren't patronising , just wanted me to have a positive experience. The horses are so well looked after and their well being is very apparent and foremost in the owners mind. I booked my next lesson straight away. Can't wait to continue my journey with them �

I came yesterday for my hen do with 8 guests and could not fault any part of our experience at Coloured Cob equestrian. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by friendly faces and even had Prosecco before our ride! The carriage ride ladies were very complimentary of Gandolf and the girls leading us out on the trek were very knowledgable as I started panicking when Milan decided to try and overtake paddy! I'll definitely be recommending you guys to others and thankyou for a fantastic start to my hen weekend!

Had our first visit today with my just 3 year old and a friend and her 2 year old. All the staff were professional, super friendly and chatty and the ponies were perfect. Despite it being just above freezing everyone was so happy. Absolutely loved it. Can't wait to go back with my 6 year old and an army of friends after telling everyone how wonderful it was. Thank you! �

Had my little girls party here today and she loved it as did all her friends! The whole party was really nice and the staff were great, couldn't fault it at all. Thank you �

Had an excellent lesson today pitched at just the right level to help me conquer my fear of canter. Joanna and Billy looked after me very well. Thanks, Sharon, for teaming me up with these two. Can’t wait for my next lesson and I’m so happy to be supporting a quality local business! �

Had a lovely hack today on Tenby - what a wee star that pony was - it was windy and slidy in the mud and he and I had a lot of fun!!!

Excellent place. Such an amazing party. Lots to do for the children! Thank you so much for the girl who looked after the party and walked with my nervous son while he was on Pikachu!

We will be back!

Could not recommend this place any more! Fantastic team with beautiful well mannered horses! Fantastic facilities with breathtaking views to match! They helped my fiancé in planning our engagement and ensured that it was a special day I would never forget! Will definitely be returning for their beautiful trecking experiences and a few side saddle lessons!
