We are now stocking Kathy Thompsons 'Chillies Galore' made in Norwich in small batches to retain the wonderful flavour and quality that she is renowned for. We are now selling our own home grown sprout stalks, very good quality this year and still only 99p each. Have you tried 'flower sprouts' they are a cross between Brussel sprouts and British kale - sweet and tasty - and excellent nutritional value too. We like them cooked in the steamer, but they can be cooked however you like your sprouts or greens cooked. We're growing them and selling them too ! Let us know what you think of them.

Our lovely Kent Cherries will soon be finished, such a pity as they have been rather delicious, but we are now selling local plums, another goody. Summer is a great time of the year with so much yummy fruit about. We mustn't forget the veggies though, our Romanesco is now looking {and tasting] really good. Caulis are a good buy now, along with sweetcorn and bunched carrots. If you'd like something a little different we've grown some Golden Beetroot this year, its selling alongside the Red Beet.

We have a bumper crop of Rhubarb this year and it is selling well at the moment. We have been told that it has a really good flavour. Great for making pies,crumbles.roasting.or simmering on its own. Try cooking it with golden syrup instead of sugar, this adds to its palatability.
