How we make our gammon so scrummy...рҹҳӢ
рҹ”№Step 1 - We start with a full joint of Great British Gammon, and slow cook it for a full 12 hours to ensure it is juicy and delicious.
рҹ”№Step 2 - We remove the skin and cut the remaining fat into diamonds ( this ensures the crispiest outer coating )
... рҹ”№Step 3 - We generously add or special recipe honey and mustard glaze.
рҹ”№Step 4 - we turn the oven up to high and pop the gammon joint back in to crisp up the gammon and caramelise the dressing.
рҹ”№Step 5 - we add any excess glaze to the meat
рҹ”№Step 6 - we serve to our lovely customers

Went there yesterday for the Sunday carvery. It really is excellent value and great quality. Very generous meat portions followed by fresh vegetables that are not over cooked with a lovely gravy.

Went on a recommendation, loved the seating arrangement. Not crowded listening to the other tables conversation. Food was amazing. Meat cooked to perfection. Think you should loose the grill pans to serve the mains and use something more practical. But other than that itвҖҷs fab! Thanks for a super evening.

We've just come home from a lovely big family dinner for our son's birthday. The staff couldn't be any more helpful. Louise was lovely and even put up with us wanting separate bills!! The food was delicious. Wonderful value for money. Our glasses were never empty and needless to say we've all come home nicely full and very merry. Thanks Coopers!!

We had a christening there yesterday and it was great! Staff were very accommodating and designated a really nice area for us. The buffet was fantastic with a really good mix of food which was all very tasty. All of our guests said that it was the best buffet they had had in years. Staff also kept an eye on the food and replenished it when needed and added new food to it part way through the afternoon. I highly recommend it for a function, we will use it for one again as we couldn't ask for anything more from a venue! Thank you Cooperhouse Grill!!

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here between Christmas and New Year. So much better than the chain restaurants with a similar menu. The waitress was attentive without being a nuisance (a rare skill) and the food was all very tasty. We will definitely eat here again.

We celebrated my husbands 30th yesterday and we had the best time. The food and staff were amazing. Thank you пҝҪ

The service In this place is lovely very attentive. Food portions are massive you wonвҖҷt go home hungry пҝҪ would def come again thanks for a lovely meal пҝҪ

Seem to be there twice a week at the moment, was recommended by a friend and I have since recommended its great everyone is really nice as is the food. They were more than happy to box up what my granddaughter couldnвҖҷt eat to take home. Everyone one smiles and are genuinely happy to see you a great place and atmosphere.

Live local went for first time tonight , friendliest staff , very attentive. Food was excellent no complaints at all. We will definately be going back with more friends.

I would recommend this very nice cosy pub/restaurant to anyone who likes good home cooked food and very friendly staff where they make you feel very welcomed. Oh, by the way, they do an excellent carvery on a Sunday.

Second time we had the carvery and again was lovely and plenty to choose from. Really friendly staff as well and would defenatly recommend this place and will be coming back again. Ps after visiting tonight and managing to take a glimpse at the sea food platter for sharing I think IвҖҷll be having that next time.

Really disappointed with our ValentineвҖҷs Day meal. Upon arrival we were seated and left for a long time before any body came to see us. The ValentineвҖҷs Day menu clearly states in the corner *ВЈ22.95 for 6 courses*, which me and my partner understood as a starter each, 2x mains and 2x puddings. This was not the case. They were charging ВЈ22.95 EACH person and didnвҖҷt state this anywhere.

The extra courses were a couple of pieces of bread we were served finally after sitting there for 15 minutes and a alcoholic shot sorbet, along with the glass of champagne I also couldnвҖҷt drink as IвҖҷm pregnant.

The evening was slow and I had to ask for soft drinks after our starters came as no one had offered us one yet.

After getting the bill to our shock at such a high price I challenged it and was told it was per person, and IвҖҷd read it wrong.

Re-read the menu which is on this page in the car park and went back to speak to someone about it as I think it was very unfair the menu didnвҖҷt show the pricing properly. Was confronted by an extremely rude lady who abruptly told me 150 people had had the set menu and I was the only one moaning about it, then proceeded to argue it was my fault very loudly in front of quite a few people. She was snappy, sharp and very rude to me even though I wasnвҖҷt being confrontational at all. Will not be eating here again, slow RUDE staff and VERY overpriced for what we actually ate. Lady I spoke to at the end completely ruined our evening. So disappointed, avoid!

*edit* emailed an вҖҳAna LuizaвҖҷ who was completely unhelpful and told me sheвҖҷd checked on our table and there was no mention of any problems which is a complete lie. Never going back

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here between Christmas and New Year. So much better than the chain restaurants with a similar menu. The waitress was attentive without being a nuisance (a rare skill) and the food was all very tasty. We will definitely eat here again.

Seem to be there twice a week at the moment, was recommended by a friend and I have since recommended its great everyone is really nice as is the food. They were more than happy to box up what my granddaughter couldnвҖҷt eat to take home. Everyone one smiles and are genuinely happy to see you a great place and atmosphere.

Live local went for first time tonight , friendliest staff , very attentive. Food was excellent no complaints at all. We will definately be going back with more friends.

Had a lovely meal here last night. The steak was cooked exactly how I'd asked for, and can honestly say it was the best I'd eaten in a restaurant for a very long time. The service was excellent, and very attentive.

I would recommend this very nice cosy pub/restaurant to anyone who likes good home cooked food and very friendly staff where they make you feel very welcomed. Oh, by the way, they do an excellent carvery on a Sunday.

Second time we had the carvery and again was lovely and plenty to choose from. Really friendly staff as well and would defenatly recommend this place and will be coming back again. Really disappointed with our ValentineвҖҷs Day meal. Upon arrival we were seated and left for a long time before any body came to see us. The ValentineвҖҷs Day menu clearly states in the corner *ВЈ22.95 for 6 courses*, which me and my partner understood as a starter each, 2x mains and 2x puddings. This was not the case. They were charging ВЈ22.95 EACH person and didnвҖҷt state this anywhere.

The extra courses were a couple of pieces of bread we were served finally after sitting there for 15 minutes and a alcoholic shot sorbet, along with the glass of champagne I also couldnвҖҷt drink as IвҖҷm pregnant.

The evening was slow and I had to ask for soft drinks after our starters came as no one had offered us one yet.

After getting the bill to our shock at such a high price I challenged it and was told it was per person, and IвҖҷd read it wrong.

Re-read the menu which is on this page in the car park and went back to speak to someone about it as I think it was very unfair the menu didnвҖҷt show the pricing properly. Was confronted by an extremely rude lady who abruptly told me 150 people had had the set menu and I was the only one moaning about it, then proceeded to argue it was my fault very loudly in front of quite a few people. She was snappy, sharp and very rude to me even though I wasnвҖҷt being confrontational at all. Will not be eating here again, slow RUDE staff and VERY overpriced for what we actually ate. Lady I spoke to at the end completely ruined our evening. So disappointed, avoid!

Went there yesterday for the Sunday carvery. It really is excellent value and great quality. Very generous meat portions followed by fresh vegetables that are not over cooked with a lovely gravy.

Went on a recommendation, loved the seating arrangement. Not crowded listening to the other tables conversation. Food was amazing. Meat cooked to perfection. Think you should loose the grill pans to serve the mains and use something more practical. But other than that itвҖҷs fab! Thanks for a super evening.

We've just come home from a lovely big family dinner for our son's birthday. The staff couldn't be any more helpful. Louise was lovely and even put up with us wanting separate bills!! The food was delicious. Wonderful value for money. Our glasses were never empty and needless to say we've all come home nicely full and very merry. Thanks Coopers!!

We had a christening there yesterday and it was great! Staff were very accommodating and designated a really nice area for us. The buffet was fantastic with a really good mix of food which was all very tasty. All of our guests said that it was the best buffet they had had in years. Staff also kept an eye on the food and replenished it when needed and added new food to it part way through the afternoon. I highly recommend it for a function, we will use it for one again as we couldn't ask for anything more from a venue! Thank you Cooperhouse Grill!!
