If you choose Cotton Bud your tunes will be looked after by Rich Lane who is an established music producer, engineer, remixer and DJ with over 25 years of professional experience in recorded sound.

Electronic music of all types is a speciality but all genres can benefit from a wipe of the Cotton Bud. . .

Here is a guide to our pricing:

Straight master : £15 per track

'Kick Trick' * mastering with separate kick and bass stem mixing : £25 per track (any extra stems e. g. sub bass, snare, vocals etc @ £5 per stem)

Complete stem mixdowns also available for £100 (24 stems or less) with £3 charged for each additional stem if more than 24 are provided.

* The 'Kick Trick' gives a greater degree of flexibility in the all important bottom end, as well as often improving the general 'pumping' quality of the final master, particularly with 4 /4 dance music of all speeds. Straight mastering can sometimes sacrifice power and clarity in the bottom end in return for more overall perceived loudness. By having 3 separate stems (one for the kick, one for the bass, and one for everything else) there are far greater possibilities for a result free of compromise. A straight master will also be included for the price - if you end up preferring this, only £20 will be charged per track.

(Note on payment : You pay 50% of the agreed fee as a deposit, and for this you will get full quality, full length mastered previews which contain an ocassional audio 'watermark'. Upon approval of these previews and payment of the remaining 50% you will recieve the full masters without the watermark. All payments to be made by paypal to the address below. Alternatively if time is tight you can pay the complete fee in advance and bypass the previews stage - many regular clients do this. )
