Just dropped off 30 portions of home made chicken pasta for Boltons Sunday Street Kitchen to distribute to people in need and the homeless of Bolton.
I asked if there were any particular items they are in need of. The volunteers are in need of:- Socks Gloves... Underwear (ladies and men’s) Personal ladies hygiene items Soaps, deodorants, any hygiene items (not aerosol based deodorants please or razors)
If you would like to help with any of the above items then please let me know either by commenting below or sending me a PM. I can arrange collection also of these items for distribution if you need to.
Also if you wish to cook every 3 months like I do then I can pass your details on also.

Another successful litter pick this morning, 15 plus bags collected on Chew Moor Lane just from the Cricket Club to Bolton Road.
Nice to see new faces and our younger generation join me today. Thanks to everyone who attended.

Looks like lots of fun was had at Lilliputs Day Nursery yesterday. ❤️

GOOD NEWS! 👍 You may remember I campaigned for road repairs at Chorley Road in April 2018. We’ve now had the news that resurfacing of the road is now going to take place. Another successful campaign.
The works will be from De Havilland Way to Manchester Road from Monday 18th March to Friday 5th April. The carriageway is being resurfaced and gullies replaces, plus work on the footpaths. Two way signals will be in operation during off peak hours.

It’s the little things that make a difference.
Whilst out on my travels and after reports from residents I noticed that the sign for Bailey Fold had fallen off so I asked if it could be repaired and I’m pleased to say it has.
