Let's face it, the 1970s were awesome!
There was a war of culture across the Atlantic. The UK fires Led Zeppelin at America. The States hit back with Star Wars.
The legendary 'Rumble in the Jungle' saw Muhammad Ali punch his name into the sporting hall of fame… 'so mean he made medicine sick'. Punk was born. Bowie taught the world how to be androgynous. Thatcher reigned over everyone, while Morcambe and Wise brought us sunshine! And, men had hair that looked like military helmets. . . that's where Nick Bunn comes in.
Based in West London, Nick downed scissors in his Sheperds Bush salon and headed East to carve his own path. Croppers opened in Norwich, and that is why the 70's were awesome.
Nick's ability and friendly, positive attitude, quickly saw Croppers become the place to go for men's hair in Norwich.
40 years on and Norwich is abundant with salons and barbershops. You lucky people are spoilt for choice! But, Croppers thrive on competition and Nick's original, effective approach is still at the heart of our business today, keeping us as popular as ever.
We feel it is our responsibility to leave you both welcomed and valued as one of our clients. Our aim is to give you the suitable, wearable style that you want and feel happy with.
So, If you have a firm idea of personal style or like to change your look as often as you change your socks. Croppers are as sharp now as the day we opened 40 years ago, and still carving our own path.

The fortnight before Xmas is pretty much fully booked however we have our returning hero sam Middleton available for appointments on Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays
it is everyone's favourite barber shop in the fine city of Norwich that's right it's Croppers on the trendy st gregory's alley. If you haven't been to Croppers barber shop which was established by a nice man in the year 1974 you are missing out on the greatest hair cut experience of your life. The best bit is when the big tattooed man gets you your favourite hot beverage and then the barber men cut your hair like edward scissor hands but less weird and more calmly. they always have music playing that makes you want to dance but you can't dance because you're wearing a giant apron or on saturday they might have the local canary football team commentary on the radio so you can cheer on the yellow bird. steve and mike are fun and nice and tell hilarious jokes whilst they cut your hair at the end of your haircut they give you a super trendy hair style and show you the back of your head with a mirror and as you leave the shop steve gives you a slow motion wink that lasts for about 5 seconds which makes you feel special and makes you want to stay with them all day and talk about things and eat chicken nuggets quicker than is usually sensible. i like Croppers you should definitely go.
Went into Croppers for the first time today, to get my little boys hair cut. After being spoken to so rudely and turned away by a different barbers. The staff at Croppers were so welcoming and friendly to my 2yr old and it was the best hair cut his has ever had. Thank you once again to Ben the barber. See you again next time. ���

Reluctantly giving a 5 star review because I want to make sure I can get an appointment! If your Barnet has gone bad check it out. I even got a free beer when I was terribly hungover. Top notch!
Only place that I have let touch my reducing hair in over 20 years!
My older brother has been coming to croppers for years and always received great service and haircuts for a really reasonable price and so I suggested my partner come here for a haircut too when he wasn't sure where to go. And so he now never goes anywhere else! We both love the feel and interior of the place and the staff are always lovely and helpful. Because of the always positive experiences we've had I enquired whether they'd be happy to give my 4 year old autistic brother his first hair cut in which they were more than happy to give it a go. Me and my mum came in with him today for his first haircut and they were absolutely brilliant with him. I believe it was Lee who cut his hair and he was just so patient with him and happy to meet our requests to ensure my brother was comfortable and calm as autism can mean my brother is often overwhelmed with these situations. The lady that works there put paw patrol on her iPad for him as another method to keep him calm and distracted which was really kind of her. All in all me and my mum are really ecstatic with such a positive visit today. Both my brothers and my partner will definitely be regular customers, a big thankyou again!

Like the changes to the premises as well as the mix of customers and therefore the ability of the cutters to deal with all ages, hair types and personalities. Had good hair cuts over the last 32 years. thank you.
I've been having my hair cut here for over 20 years on and off, always made extremely welcome even if it's just popping in for a chat ( usually revolving around cycling) and coffee. Well done Steve and Mike and all the best for the future
I've been getting my hair cut here by Mike for many years, it's an excellent establishment with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. If you haven't already, give them a try!
Hi, just to give props to Shaun (& Croppers) on a fantastic beard trim & shave. Great skills & a very satisfied customer...... I looked like a beast when I went in & looked & felt like a million dollars when I left. Well worth the money, as I had 2 hot towels, a damn close shave, cold towel & a classic aftershave to finish... There wass more , but you should find out for yourself..... I would highly recommend a little male pampering to any dude with or without a beard....
First time at croppers. Went in without an appointment and got seen really quickly. Got a great cut from Mark, sorting out my really overgrown hair, for a great price too! Been trying a few different places to get my hair cut but I'll be sticking with croppers in the future!

Croppers came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. Walked in on the day and only had a short wait. Friendly, helpful stylist and great value for money. Will definitely be back again!
