Cuckoos Coffee Bar

To all our lovely customers, Cuckoos will be open as usual on Saturday for the Christmas Festival and serving our full menu from 8.30am.
From 4-8pm, we will have a stall set up outside the shop with a free mince pie and a tot of whisky to warm you up! So come and visit us for a warm welcome!
We also have available to take away or you are welcome to come in to Cuckoos to keep warm whilst you eat or drink:... - Our 5 star hot chocolate - Home made soup with sour dough bread - Brioche buns with bacon or sausage or Scottish square slice sausage
For those of you who fancy a tipple, treat yourself to some mulled wine or a gin and tonic. We also have a selection of wine, beer and prosecco.
Of course, we will still be serving coffees and cakes in the shop until 8pm.

Dear Customers hope you are all well. Unfortunately I (Josh)fell down the stairs as I was closing today and have sprained my ankle and its going to be impossible for me to go up and down the stairs. So the coffee shop will be closed tomorrow and Thursday. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We've had nothing but beautifully cooked food at reasonable prices, and friendly service every time we have been to Cuckoo's.



Nothing is too much trouble, and there is always a good atmosphere whatever the weather.



My wife and I will often make a large diversion to visit.

Recently started to work in Christchurch and was delighted to find this fabulous cafe. Lovely staff, good food and really good coffee. Oh and the carrot cake is great. Love it

I have to go as far as saying it's the best coffee I have tasted and the atmosphere and service is fantastic and friendly. I attended the first Greek evening last night, the food was stunning and the atmosphere was relaxed, a superb evening. Cannot say enough. Perfect coffee bar and well worth a visit.

Here now, enjoying a lovely gluten free breakfast of poached eggs on gluten free bread, that's absolutely delicious, eggs cooked to perfection. Delicious coffee. Such friendly staff. Great atmosphere and music for a leisurely Saturday morning off.

Come back again and again . The food is fantasic and the staff can't be more helpful and make you feel relaxed . Always a good beat going on in the background which adds to the atmosphere. Not been to one of their theme nights yet but can't wait to try one .

Allways a friendly smile, good coffee, excellent cakes and sweets and propably the best breakfast in christchurch. As we would say in the german part of switzerland "eifach obenuse"! See you again next summer.

Went in for a pot of tea and while I was there had a bacon and egg muffin. Very nice I thoroughly enjoyed it
