We were super disappointed with the lighting, it doesn't show off all of the sparkles on the egg and around the edges of the cake but when it's raining outside you have to take photos with the lighting you've got... 6" luscious lemon cake. The cake is lilac with a dusting of sparkly purple around the top and bottom edges (and on the egg too). Sparkly pink balls and a wee little fella made from fondant- I love his cute eyes. We hope the 10 year old girl enjoyed the cake- she was only allowed a sneak peek before her party. xx

Letting you in on a secret- we slept in until midday today💤 but we made up for it since and worked our socks off🧦for the rest of the day, we are happy to say ALL of our decorations for the rest of June are diddly done....Hoorah.xx

Today's cake order has been collected, we have a busy weekend ahead prepping for more June cakes, if you want to know our availability for the rest of the year then just message us and we'll let you know- Happy Friday everyone.xx

We're taking Vacation time, I hear you say "you've just got back from one"- you can't have too much 'break time' though. We'll be back soon and will reply to any messages upon our return.xx

Married at Slater's Country Hotel, a popular choice for wedding couples locally, the Bride chose an Ivory and pale pink design. As we keep reminding everyone, the whole process took 72.5 hours to make....and yes.... the flowers are sugar (wired and non-wired) and all made by Cup-cake-Queen. Flavours of rich fruit cake; lemon sponge and vanilla sponge. The Bride wanted to surprise the Groom with 50 football cup-cakes, these were put on display in the evening. Congratulations to the Bride and Groom, we hope their day was memorable.xx
