Ordered a DSLR camera for our daughter Saturday, told us it would be in Tuesday latest, after my sarcasm to them Tuesday, Wednesday we finally got it Thursday. If I had not already paid up front I would have cancelled it. Overall I thought they do not treat you like a customer considering you are potentially spending hundreds of pounds in there. I think the younger staff not only need to learn their job but some manners and respect would not go a miss. Currys pull your act together.

sold my mum a 4k tv sales asked her if she had sky which she said yes and told her she wouldn’t be able to watch it without a 60 pound cable they are so full of it to boost sales by bulls——g people that have no idea ���

Worksop Currys PC World abuse from the assistant manager James. As I approached the cashier to pay for goods I was asked by the gentleman serving me if I would like a VAT receipt and when he handed me the receipt there was an issue with it, he took a closer look and asked the assistant manager James for assistance. The assistant manager James glanced at the receipt and informed me the receipt was ok and handed it back to his colleague. I asked again for a valid receipt as I needed this for business and what they were handing me was not sufficient. The gentleman serving looked at the store copy and said the store copy had the information on and would it help if you took this one to which then James the store manager took it and looked at it and said I don't know I can’t read without my glasses on to which I was then shocked and let him know so as if he couldn’t read this one how does he know what my copy had printed on it. He then went on to say I won’t apologise for having bad eye sight and called me rude and arrogant which then continued in to an argument at the cashier desk for all to hear and see. I asked to speak to the store manager who could hear all this carry on but did nothing. The store manager came to the cashier desk and I continued to explain what was happening then from behind him while we were discussing the situation James physically burst in with I am not having this, called me a few names again in front of the store manager and refused to apologise. I must point out that James is quite a large well built male whilst I am a small female. 1. All I asked for was a valid receipt 2. the assistant manager publicly humiliated me as well as himself by his verbal abuse & bullying 3. The store manager did nothing when James interrupted our conversation as well as doing nothing when James was being rude and loud initially. 4. if the store copy has the information on it then it’s obvious they need it for their business reasons just like we need it for ours. I have never in all my years been treated, in this manner and what a shocking display of humiliation from the assistant store manager. What sort of example is this to the other staff and there must have been at least 5 or 6 in the vicinity. The blonde haired lady that was on duty was shaking her head and giving me filthy looks. I was in tears when I got in to my car to drive home. My visit as a customer to this store was met with verbal abuse, intimidation and humiliation. I hope this is dealt with by a professional person that understands the importance of a customer!

Stood there for 20 mins while 5 of the staff stood behind the counter chatting away to themselves not 1 of them came over to see if me or the other 7 ppl in the store needed help tell ya what I'll get my tv from Argos instead waist of space

No customer service! We were wanting to buy a new TV with sound system and were stood looking at TV's for 1 hour waiting for an assistant. Looking around, all the shop assistants were much more interested in their phones and having a chat with each other about their weekends and seemed to have no interest in helping us!

We then tried a different store at Crystal Peaks and had exactly the same experience there!

So we left...and bought from a different shop altogether.

My husband went to the Worksop store to purchase a Chromecast for £30 He handed over two crisp £20 notes folded together. The shop assistant had to take him to another till as the one they were at was not working. When they got to the the other till the shop assistant claimed he had only gave him one £20 note. His word against my husbands. Anyone else using this store count the money out into their hands don't get ripped off

I purchased a Lenova ideapad yesterday (Tuesday) from your Worksop store got home and put it on and was disappointed with the camera it was very grainy there was also no disc drive which the sales assistant knew it was what we wanted on the laptop I contacted the Know How team to ask if I could return it and was told yes if it was back in all packaging with receipts, your Store Assistant was very rude and told us on no circumstances could we return it because it was classed as second hand I am very disappointed with the attitude of Curry,s staff and Manager.I also spoke to Lenova company and was told it can be sent back up 30 days after purchase but even that was futile



Myself and my Partner have purchased many electrical items over the years but after this it will be the last

I had a problem with a TV and was told by an engineer it was a manufacturing fault contacted Panasonic who told me take it back to Curry's and we'll check it out, Curry's tell me they want £100 non refundable deposit and after that they would let me know what the problem is and what it will cost to fix it, contacted Panasonic again who put me in touch with a Sheffield firm who want a £25 refundable deposit and if it is a manufacturing fault it will be sorted free, so why can't a company the size of Curry's offer the same service, the attitude of the staff is disgraceful even when I bought the TV it took me about ten mins to get someone to take my money. Over the years I have spent a lot of money with them but never again
