We’ve been in twice already this week, lovely staff so helpful and friendly, somewhere finally where you can relax with with toddlers. Great play area for kids with working toys!! Brilliant changing area they even have wipes and nappies if you’ve forgotten yours!

Food and coffee were fab too, really reasonable goes without saying we will be back.

Went here today for lunch with my 20month old and 2 month old, owners very welcoming and the play area is such a good idea! Very child friendly! They didnt have what i wanted from the menu but went and got it from local shop which was great so i wasnt disapointed!. Would have given a 5* but wasnt much choice of cake today from what i had seen in facebook photo? which was a shame(maybe they weren't on display or i just didnt see them?) but i will definatly be returning again

We went here today and I can't recommend it enough , lovely food , friendly staff , reasonably priced and fab play area for children .

We reserved a table for my sons 3rd birthday. It was lovely with all the extra little touches and nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely and the children enjoyed playing in the safe play area. So much so no one wanted to leave. Will be going again soon.

We held our daughter's 1st birthday at The Nook today and it was the perfect venue! Lauren was fantastic and everything went to plan. The little lunch boxes that were provided were great and had freshly made sandwiches, fruit, loads of snacks and a drink, perfect for lots of hungry children! Lots of our guests commented that the Nook was a great choice. Thanks again x

Took our 3 yr old son here for lunch today. Its a great place to take toddlers who are still too impatient to take out for a meal. Great play area for the kids and my son loved being able to walk around with the toys with no restrictions. My son is a very fussy eater but they have chocolate spread sandwiches on the menu !!! I can't not tell you how happy that made me. 😀 The food was Lovely and the service was great. Will definitely be back again

The Nook Coffee house is amazing ! Its so great to go somewhere with young children and prams where you don't feel in the way. Both my boys love it there and the play area is wonderful. I have been both when it is very busy and quiet but at all times you are made to feel very welcome. Food is lovely and very reasonable.

Popped in today with my friend and our little ones. What an improvement to how it used to be! Staff were so welcoming and and friendly, very accommodating. My hot chocolate was delicious and very reasonable, everything was spotless and the children’s play area is so much better with the fence. We’re looking forward to returning again very soon, we’ll done to you all, you should be very proud!

Popped in for brunch and a cuppa with my 6 year old. Lovely cosy, friendly and relaxed atmosphere with a great kids area. Can't wait to go again! �

Last weekend, The Nook hosted my 4 year olds birthday party for 26 children! Lauren was so helpful from start to finish and even helped me with sticking to the theme of the party. The lunch boxes were great for the kids, the teas, coffee's and sandwiches flowed for the parents! Everyone had a great time, I would highly recommend the Nook for both a lunch venue or party venue....xx

Just back from a lovely lunch with friend and both our one year olds. Friendly staff, pram friendly and a great play area which kept them entertained. Tasty lunch and a nice pot of tea too, we will definitely be back x

I booked the nook for my daughters birthday party and we had a great time :-) the staff are lovely and so helpful, food was delicious and very reasonably priced, and the kids play area was a hit with the little ones. Would definitely recommend!

I already put a post on here but was unaware of the review bit, it`s me David the lonely blonde Jewish guy with glasses who has mainly mentioned two subjects when visiting The Nook. One was my love of singing and the other was my recent diagnosis of Autism(Aspergers Syndrome). Not only do you serve delicious cakes and have a classy transparent tea pot with golden coloured stripes lining it but you are all very friendly. I am very liberal minded so if you are serving delicious Christmas food, yes I will probably consume some of that. I really enjoyed my cherry bakewell in my last visit. Recently when I was in your cafe, The Dutchess of Wessex was visting chalkwell park, was she not, pity she didn`t stop at your cafe for a cuppa tea or coffee.

Had a lovely afternoon here and a delicious afternoon tea! Great service, friendly staff and perfect for children as they have a play area for keeping the little ones entertained!

Excellent friendly service, great menu choices especially for fussy eaters, will definitely be back.

Came for lunch today with friends and 6 children ranging from 6 months to 4. They all had the best time. Food was great and was very reasonable. Staff were very friendly and welcoming even with 6 kids that were running around. The kids play corner was brilliant and kept them entertained. Karen in particular was brilliant with the kids and let my daughter pretend to work there. We will definitely be back.

Came for brekkie today, I had the full English and my boys pancakes. Food was delicious and service was fab. My kids loved the play area. Prices are excellent too, a family brekkie/lunch here won't break the bank and you get 5* service. We will be back xx
