The decadent tents can sleep 6-8 people in style, with hot and cold running water, and a wood burning stove. Each tent has its own toilet and shower.
You will delight in the space and see how a working farm works. This is the time to forget about all things modern and get back to nature.

Today Barsham Village is looking tidier as 4 of us managed to collect 14 bags of rubbish. It is very sad that people have to chuck so much out of their cars and spoil our beautiful countryside.

This weekend we saw the last of our guest in our tents. This year we have had the best year ever, with some fantastic reviews, we couldn’t have done it without of the help of Ann Harris and Molly Reeve helping out in the summer holidays and doing the job I hate most the laundry. We look forward to welcoming you all back in April. Please remember the shepherd huts are open all year round.

I would give 6 stars if I could! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Where do I start? The location is amazing - peaceful, off the beaten track but still very easy to find. We stayed in the Shepherds Hut which sleeps 4 and is stunning. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, fully equipped kitchen & a lovely bathroom. The Bradshaw family were lovely, very friendly & welcoming. As well as the above, all of the other little touches that are there make all the difference - fresh milk & eggs when you arrive..., with some homemade cakes there as a welcome gift. Really kind and thoughtful gesture. The hut is located in a field surrounded by chickens, pigs, sheep etc. Which my son loved. Suffolk itself is very pretty, has lots of quaint market towns & fishing villages or more rural walks in the broads if you prefer. I would definitely recommend Dawn Chorus and hope to stay there again in the future. Thanks again to the Bradshaw family 😊

What an amazing experience. 1st time we have ever 'glamped' and I don't think we will ever camp again! Tent had everything you could possibly need and was clean and comfortable. A delicious homemade chocolate cake on arrival and Easter eggs for the children! THANK YOU (we will be back) �
We have just got home from a wonderful short break in ‘Texel’ Shepherds Hut, the hut is beautiful, really high standards fixtures and fittings. Comfy and warm, a must have with a toddler, room for the travel cot once the table folded away.
The little touches from the family were wonderful, our son loved the cupcakes and my husband loved the farm eggs! Lovely setting and location. Would highly recommend!

Such a lovely tranquil peaceful place to visit, the tent was amazing, everything you need under canvas.......amazing! To wake up to the birds singing in the morning is what nature is all about....loved it. Me and my children and 4 month old Grandson were there celebrating my sons 18th birthday, couldn't of asked for anything better. Highly recommended! THANK YOU! x
Recently returned from an overnight stay in the texel hut , wonderful setting ,cute, comfortable and extremely clean hut .
If your after a perfect quiet little getaway I highly recommend.
Our first glamping experience and we loved it! Helen and Bob are so friendly, the breakfast is fab and the new born lambs are a bonus! We will be back!

Just had an awesome night in the 'Suffolk' shepherds hut. Everything u could need in there and then some. Lovely being surrounded by nature, pigs, sheep, chickens. Free eggs, from the free range chickens in our welcome pack. Home made cupcakes. We would change nothing from our whole night and will definitely be back for another night and to try out a safari tent woth our family. Lovely, friendly owners. :)
Just came back from a night away was a last minute booking into the site, we had 2 huts and I have to say everything was fantastic the huts were finished and stocked to a very high standard and so comfy. I can't remember the last time I played Frisby and catch but was great fun with the family and our daughter wants to go back already
Had a lovely night in the shepherds hut, even though it was -2 outside we were still lovely and cosy. Would highly recommend. Going back in the summer with kids
Great place for a nice weekend getaway. We stayed in a Texel hut that can accommodate two adults & two small children.. It was very cosy & fun. Warm welcome received. Lovely to see the farm animals; a cool bonus for the kiddies plus a nice selection of indoor & outdoor activities. The burning fire pit in the evening & the sounds of birds singing was beautiful. Thank you, we will be booking again & I highly recommend a visit x

Absolutely loved our fantastic little shepherds hut the Norfolk horn. Yes it's small but it has everything you could possibly need, comfy bed, lovely hot shower and well equipped kitchen. We loved the peace and quiet and collecting the eggs for breakfast was always fun. Thoroughly recommend a trip to Beccles during your stay it has some great pubs. We enjoyed our stay so much I'm sure we will be back!
A fantastic place in a beautiful location to celebrate a special birthday. My whole family ( 8 adults and 8 children) had a wonderful relaxing stay. The children played out from first light til late in evening and loved the morning egg collection! Thank you to Helen who was so accommodating, relaxed and helpful. We will be back.
7/4/15 - had a fantastic 2 nights here, 7 mums and 12 kids, great way to spend some of the holidays. The kids had so much freedom to run around and play, they loved the chickens, sheep and baby lambs. The tents were very well equipped, all you needed, the owners were on hand and helpful. Walked one of the suggested walks, well as far as the pub for a lunch, then an enjoyable day at bewliderwood on the way home. Will definitely be back again, knowing that we wouldn't need to bring as much equipment but would bring extra blankets as gets a bit chilly first thing until you get the stove going. x
