Went to debenhams today with a dress i needed to a fascinator a bag shoes and something for for my shoulders.

I would like to say a massive thank you to Jean George in the ladies department who spent time with me helping me find all of the above. Such a lovely helpful staff member that was genuinely happy to help me.

I can now go to the wedding looking fabulous ’┐Į x

Very Helpful Staff. Was with my mother looking for a wedding outfit and the ladies working in the Women's Occasion wear department could not have been more helpful. Extremely polite and cheerful and understood what my mother was looking for. Thank you

Thank you Heather. I was a pain with the steam cleaner but you were so helpful. You went and checked stock for me then went and seen about the display one, then relising the attachments weren't in the box you went back again. Then after holding it in click and collect while I moved my car you offered to help me to the car with it x

I needed a suit and was helped by ali in the menswear department .he was so helppful and informative and put me at ease straight away he really knew his stuff .it was a pleasure to be helped by this man and i really enjoyed my shopping experience in this store.

I like to give credit where it is due. So thank you very much to the helpful manager in debenhams lakeside for allowing me to return a wedding dress I bought just before I was off ill and have just returned 3 months past the 30 day return policy and given me a gift voucher for the amount. Full praise to the Duty Manager we met today at Debenhams in Lakeside. We experienced transphobia from a member of staff at the store regarding buying clothing today. After speaking to the ladies duty manager I felt she took my discomfort seriously, she addressed my issues in a very positive manor and although resistant to listening at first understood by the end of the conversation that it was an important subject matter regarding LGBT customers. She assured me that positive retraining of staff and especially their changing room policy was going to be added. Thank you

Brilliant shopping, staff at Jacques Vert couldn't be more helpful. Managed to get what I wanted straight away.

Stop the bullying

Rudest young lady ever on the Elemis booth in Debenhams today. Running 35 minutes late. No apology, No manners, unprofessional and vile. I wouldn't have let you give my daughter's Barbie a facial with an attitude like that. What annoyed me most was the fact that I was so angry that I left without purchasing my ┬Ż89 Elemis Gift Set that I wanted so badly and the only reason I agreed to come in for a facial in the first place. NOTE TO HER: FREE FACIAL DOES NOT MEAN YOU GET TO TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE CRAP. Hope she gets her Customer Services Diploma soon as I doubt her facial skills would have been up to scratch.

Having a rant, be warned when you buy something from debenhams from any other than your local branch!!!! I bought a dress from debenhams, went to take it back today to be told I've got to go back to the actual store I bought it from, apparently its a consession item, asked the lady what other stores stock Lipsy she said she didn't know... How am I supposed to know then! WTF as if I have time to do that..... Not impressed as if I had originally bought online I could take it back to any store for them to send off..... Following on from an online order not being correctly refunded in store I was told to email your head of women wear. I have now emailed 4 times, not only has the matter not been resolved she has not even replied to my emails.

Very disappointed. I won't be shopping at Debenhams again.
