The Vagaband at Deepdale Festival 2018 on Friday
Something wicked this way comes ... and it's The Vagaband! With their very own wickedly unique interpretation of English and American roots music, this endlessly elegant inventive and mutable collective of accomplished musicians are heading to Deepdale to take the Festival by storm.
Headlining our main Brick Barn Stage on the Friday evening, this highly-respected Norwich-based band are a reason to attend the Festival all on th...eir own!
Described by Q Magazine as 'proof the Devil doesn't always have the best tunes', their songs range across and around genres, including Americana, rock, blues, folk and country, while drawing deep on the British Celtic foundations that underpin much of modern roots music.
We are delighted to welcome them to our own Festival stage, and very much hope you'll join us.

Zeph at Deepdale Festival 2018 on Sunday
Anytime, anyplace, anywhere Zeph will be playing guitar! Whether busking or gigging his one man band set up, jamming with others around a festival field or entertaining himself at home.
Zeph's performances include catchy, dance-y, homespun tales of shenanigans with strippers and strangers, well-hung ladies and rum swigging pirates.
... He is also partial to playing the blues. From ragtime to deep down slide guitar to the shuffle sound of '50s Chicago, he's at home with it all.

Matt Watson Music at Deepdale Festival 2018 on Saturday
Critics have described Matt's music as provocative, thought-provoking and heartfelt. With a new album just about to be released through Tontena Music, we are really pleased to announce that Matt is releasing his new single OUTSIDE (they don't know who I am) specially to coincide with Deepdale Festival. Matt's music is firmly rooted firmly in the UK tradition of political/protest singer songwriters. You may have seen Mat...t perform at Deepdale in the past and its great to welcome him back.

HyperFox at Deepdale Festival 2018 on Sunday
Chris thought, what's missing in North Norfolk, and then he realised that clearly it was rock electro, and Hyperfox will bring that with bells on (possibly literally)

What a place!!! Great fun loving team who make it so special. Excellent facilities great choice of unusual hand made and personally sourced goods from food to clothing this place is great for those really unique finds showcasing a vast group of talents. If you want choice, here's the venue. Fab xx

User

What a great campsite that has been upgraded to an amazing standard! An enclosed dog walk too and very friendly and helpful staff. We love it here and it suits us well as it is so dog friendly and welcoming. Lots of amenities and facilities. Lots of dog friendly walks and beaches. Local pubs are a short walking distance away with tasty food - great after a long day out exploring! Brancaster beach and Wells a short distance away, what more could you ask for! We will definitely revisit. (Thank you for putting our wedding champagne on ice ;-) )

Wishing you all every success for your future plans, they sound amazing and can't wait to revisit and see it all.

User

We stayed in a tent for two weeks and had a great time. The site is well laid out and the facilities are very good (wet room shower/toilets a big plus). Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The area is very dog friendly, probably more so than anywhere we have been so our two dogs enjoyed it as much as we did.

User

We had the best time this weekend at your Hygge - it was relaxed, friendly and lots to see and do. A big thank you to everyone

User

This is a wonderful site with modern shower blocks, great low-noise policy and a few minutes walk from the serene North Norfolk marshes. It was crowded with families, mainly in tents, when we visited in late July but we never felt uncomfortable and the team of site rangers were always on hand to deal with queries. We will certainly be back, probably, like the migrating birds, in the autumn.

User

The crew all seem to want you to enjoy your stay and have a great customer focused attitude (long may this continue) they will try to help no matter how trivial your enquiry or question. they point out the rules of the site in a polite manner and we really enjoy our stays here even though we only live 10 miles away . the new shower blocks are excellent and when its all complete will really make the site a even more superb place to stay. Local pubs are great with the more expensive ship offering up market food and the Jolly sailor offering great value and delicious food. We will stay here a couple of times a year for festivals and the like . perhaps some crushed tarmac along the tracks to the pitches will be a slight improvement but that's being a bit picky. But its the staff that really make the place.

User

Once again, these guys prove themselves to be ace!

This site improves year upon year. They always seem to be thinking about what their customer wants and needs; from the heated personal wet rooms with hairdryer to the warm shower points for dogs (yep - even the little fluffies get luxury).

Their prices are modest and whilst I might regret saying this, they could charge more!

Perfect facilities, good management, great customer service, brilliant location and I will be back!

User

Myself and my teenage sons stayed for two nights at the backpackers hostel. Fantastic place to stay, fabulous and friendly staff. Hope to return soon.

User

Myself and my boyfriend (both 41) stayed at Deepdale Campsite for 5 nights starting on 16th July 2017.

Our pitch was a really good size and was close to the very clean , modern, new shower block. We were escorted to our pitch by one of the team on a bicycle - a really nice idea for a welcome! All the team were full of local knowledge and very helpful.

The supermarket, cafe and shops on the same land were so useful. We really felt like we could relax. Also having the bus service that goes to all the main tourist attractions directly outside the campsite was amazing. The whole area of North Norfolk is gorgeous and I can't believe we've not been there before.

The showers were lovely and hot and each bathroom was spacious. I would make only one addition and add a flip-down seat in each bathroom, as this makes it easier to dry your feet/put your bag down/or (if you are a parent) for your small children to wait on.

We only cut our trip short by one day, due to the rain forecast on the final day, but we'd like to return again soon and will recommend to all our camping friends.

User

Lovely nights stay in an ensuite room. Spotlessly clean throughout, well equipped communal areas. Really friendly staff and loads of facilities within a minutes walk. I couldn't fault it!

User

I have just returned home from two nights camping at your campsite with our friends. And I have got to say it's absolutely brilliant the facilities are amazing. The grounds are beautiful, but above all the staff are amazing they are a real credit to the business so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Special mention for the puzzle room, that was so much fun I hope the lady who created it (sorry I have forgotten your name) continues to do more of this as it was so much fun and absolutely brilliant. Well done. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be returning thank you xx

User

Great campsite, very accommodating and friendly! Really helpful when booking for a group of 10. The campsite is in a great location with the coast hopper bus stop at the end of the drive; pubs within a ten minute walk and a shop and cafe on site too. The staff were very friendly, they patrol the site at night to make sure everyone is happy. Shower facilities nice but could do with some plugs!

User

Great campsite with good size pitches, amazing new shower facilities, plenty of hot water and really helpful people in the office. Didn't get flooded in the thunderstorms! Easy walk to pubs or to the tranquillity of the marshes and coastal path. Also ideal location for hopping on and off the Coasthopper bus.

User

First time staying here for 2 nights,as soon as we got here my 15 year old daughter and her friend went to the shower block to use the toilets and they came back impressed with the facilities. So if you can impress 2 15 year old girls you must be doing something rightAll staff are happy and friendly, pitches are great size, although the ground was so hard and dry due to the heatwave but we managed to get pegs in eventually.Wish we were staying for longer and will definitely come visit again

User

First time I've used the camping facilities...very impressed! Appreciate it's a little barren at the moment but it will take time for the landscaping to mature. The warm dog shower and hosing down facilities were a Godsend to get out all the sand & salt from my labs coat and the 'human' facilities were excellent too. The staff were very helpful so I couldn't really have asked for more! Well done, I will definitely be returning and recommending you to others. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

User

Fab little hostel in great location. Enjoyed our stay so much ! The team made such an effort to make my daughter and I welcome, I have a disability and this care was so much appreciated.

Fab place 💕

Camped for a week here, staff superb, really helpful, went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay.

Lovely location and great facilities, really well thought out site.

Would definitely come back again.

User

Brilliant campsite, very friendly team explained everything as my first time at the site, shower rooms very clean and fantastic showers even warm dog showers, all the campers were friendly and it’s a very peaceful site as nice and quiet after 10pm, very reasonable charges well worth it will definitely be booking again apparently great festival in September.

Defiantly recommend Deepdale Backpackers ⛺️💕🐾

What an excellent place to stay. Great facilities and very good value. Little niggle that several of the shower cubicles were out of order so there was a queue on the Sunday Morning but I'm sure once all the facilities are up and running for next season this won't be an issue. Fantastic staff and having the Nisa supermarket and the cafe next door you have everything you need within a few hundred yards of the site. We will definitely be back next year at least once and we will bring friends!!!
