we have just returned from 12 nights camping on our 2nd visit to this site. we cannot rate this site enough and plan on returning every year. it is great for children with a lovely park as well as a wood yo explore. location is perfect for so many days out...... this is why we will be returning as still didn't do everything we wanted to do. yes there are only 2 showers in each of the men's and ladies in esch block and you will more than likely need to wait at the weekends or school holidays but the most we waited was about 3/4 mins about 3 times during our stay. every other day we didn't need to wait at all. this really doesn't put us off at all as I've known worse.

the site is so well kept at all times and all very clean and tidy. all the staff are very friendly and work very hard to assist.

I recommend this site to everyone who asks about camp sites, it is just perfect for couples, small groups and families and we look forward to returning very soon!

User

had a weekend there brilliant place ,stayed in megapod and was really clean and terrific for getaway from it all ,

will definately go back staff very friendly cant praise it enough .the bonus was some kittens that came to our pod kids loved it.

User

Wonderful beautiful site, facilities are so clean. We can’t wait to arrive this Saturday

User

We stayed there for 5 nights, we was pitched on no 43, as i requested a lake pitch, and wasnt disappointed, the tv reception was excellent, WiFi was a pain, keep disconnecting, but it was a bonus when got on, the place is clean and brilliant, the fishing lakes is really good, and a good price, the children play area has ample of stuff to do for the children. And we got to see some red deers too. In all the places we have been too this is far far the best we have stayed, and will be back next your to spend most off our hoilday there, we loved it so much.

the only thing I would say is, could do with some more showers In the blocks, but still we managed to get in at a certain time without to much of a wait, very friendly staff too. We'll maintain too. The shop has minor bits and pieces but has loads for camping.

will see you again in 2018.

User

We caught up with friends for the weekend,A Friendly site ,Very spacious pitches, spotless clean shower blocks , great walks and responsible prices, certainly recommend

User

We are still here and I am definitely going to be coming back. The site is so clean and well maintained, shower blocks and all facilities are great. Took my son fishing for the first time and it was perfect , easy to catch so it made it a great experience for him. Next time we will be looking at booking 2/3 pitches for a big family break. Overall a definite recommendation. ⛺️

User

Stayed here for a long weekend In June. What a great park, clean, tidy and everything you would need from a park. Staff were friendly and professional at all times. Great high tree line around the park to stop any winds sweeping across the park, setting it up nicely to be a real sun trap. Wifi wasn't much to speak of, but we were trying to get away from it all, so probably a good thing. We have booked for a full week next year and may even return in August. Overall a good clean park, well worthy of 5*

User

Stayed here few times love going to norfolk back this week for a couple of days in a pod xxx

User

Lovely peaceful, quiet site. Just got back from a weekend spent relaxing in beautiful surroundings. Walked through the woods with dog while hubby enjoyed a day fishing. Will definitely come again, nice play area, so will bring Granddaughter next time. Wifi is a bit hit and miss, and had no reception for my phone (o2) but added in a way to the slow, relaxing, peaceful weekend we were looking for.

User

Lovely peaceful park. Great weather which helped but everywhere looked green , clean and tidy. Great toilets and showers (annoying toilet roll holders). Fire pits to hire £3 a night and very respectful neighbours as all quiet by 1030. No O2 signal but leaflets in reception. Visited Cromer beach and amazing Holkham Beach (about an hour away) next time may do some seal watching at Blakeney point or a boat on the broads. Bewilderwood is nearby and fantastic place for younger children.

User

Love this place. We have a little trip here every year!!! Perfect , just what You need for adults and families xxxxxx

User

Just got back from staying Easter weekend in the shepherds hut and the rest of the family in 2 bell tents and we loved it very clean and tidy and all well kept,

the only thing we found is that people in the caravan beside us found the need to keep putting their dog mess bags in the wheely bins provided for the people using this little section of the camp, lovely dog mess smell ever time we used the bin,

Lovely little lake for fishing with some nice fish in, just a pity the 2 so called bailiff about fishery management moaned all the time about the owner, clearly only involved to have free fishing and moaning about how meany fishing because they wanted to fish and breaking the rules that are set ( using barbed hooks and boilies ) wandering around all one night with bright head touches on, oh and letting other campers fish for free

User

I absolutely love this place. The pods were a new experience to us and as a single mum who battles putting the tent up it was a welcome, warm retreat that made me feel like a child creating a (very good) den. The staff were very friendly, helpful with information about the area as we hadn't been before and welcoming. They even sorted my kettle out when it fused! Cromer was close enough and we even managed a trip to G. Yarmouth and BeWILDerwood. Quiet site where the kids played together and I thoroughly enjoyed myself with my 8 year old son. Thank you

User

Had a lovely weekends break, kids loved how close we was to park, massive pitch... At the end of our stay our car decided it would like to die just as we hooked up to leave... Site wardens were so helpful and even let us leave our caravan and car there until we can fix her tomorrow... Definitely recommend this site!

User

Back from another short break at Deers Glade. Lovely family friendly site, helpful and friendly staff and one we'll definitely be visiting again soon. Our son enjoyed the Easter Egg hunt that was laid on. Toilet/Shower facilities clean and tidy and we had good TV Reception. Our only issue is the lack of phone service for O2 in that area and although there is free wifi, we were unable to connect at all over the Easter weekend. Nice to be off the grid for a while, but annoying when we wanted to look for places to visit or find out the latest weather etc! I'd be quite happy to pay a small fee for wifi if it meant we'd be able to connect to it.

User

Another amazing week at Deersglade-first time here in August and although every pitch was full it was still spotlessly clean & tidy - facilities coped very well with high volumes of people always hot water and minimal queues for showers.

The atmosphere on this site is so lovely kids playing everywhere all so happy and safe. We've already booked for next August but will be back sooner!

Thankyou Deersglade for another week of very happy memories.

User

After glamping in one of the pods (Roe), I have nothing bad to say about this campsite! Me and my partner were greeted by Mark in reception who was very friendly and told us everything we needed to know about the pods. The standard pods are simplicitic but comftable, with plenty of space for 2 people! Outside in our private garden, we had our own picnic bench, chiminea and concrete table top for our disposable BBQ. There was also a surprise - 3 wild kittens in the area!

User

We had a 2 night stay glamping in sika, loved it, pod's are spacious and comfortable, private woodland area isn't quite as private as we'd hoped. We thoroughly enjoyed Staying. Only 1 negative, position of bathroom pod's which were clean, warm and tidy, but face's onto other pod's ( which intrude's on others privacy and can make you feel slightly awkward). Hope to visit again soon.

Thank you for having us...

User

This was our 1st visit to Deer glade great site well run staff very helpful wash blocks very clean dog friendly even have kennels that you can book your bogs into if you want a down

In one of the near by towns will definitely come back

Our only issue is the lack of phone service for O2 in that area and although there is free wifi, we were unable to connect at all over the Easter weekend. Nice to be off the grid for a while, but annoying when we wanted to look for places to visit or find out the latest weather etc! I'd be quite happy to pay a small fee for wifi if it meant we'd be able to connect to it.
