We love denham country park and it's great for the children, they love playing in the stream however I don't think I'll be coming here anymore since they've increased the car park £3.50 for 3 hours of parking is extortionate especially as it used to be £3.50 for a whole day!
We have been coming here for years, with our children, dogs even horses. A beautiful park and the surroundings are fabulous. We had our twin daughters birthday party here, pond dipping, duck racing etc. the staff are friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend any parties to be held here. Very tired children :-)
This place is stunning! Nature at its best :-)
The kids loved playing in the stream!
Sunday 17th July Biodiversity Action Day, along canal above Denham Deep. Access from Denham station from Marylebone or tube to Uxbridge and 20 minute walk along towpath. Drive to Denham Park visitor centre. HS2 says this area is species and want to clear the forest. Will be wildlife recognition apps to use on the day. Please spread the word xxxx
Really beautiful place! Unfortunately last couple of times I've been there I've been verbally abused by some fishermen who are on the land claiming it's private property when a ranger had confirmed it isn't. They seem to do it when you have dogs (even though mine were on the lead)
Nice park with play area and an excellent café, with a brand new menu.
Lovely time for the kids catching little fish in the stream (take your own nets and bucket) and a super new play area
Had a fabulous day there today with my 5 & 2 year old children. A nature walk, picnic, river dipping and play in the park. The sun was shining & we all had a wonderful time.
Great park fir the kids, and the river dipping is fantastic
Great park and sand pit for young children, bring jelly shoes or wellies boots, fishing nets as children can paddle in shallow clean river. Nice cafe, reasonable prices, picnic area and toilets - need change for parking about £3 - £4 for part day, lots of walks, trees to climb and can get to grand union canal too!
Great day out, the adventure playground is great, the kids loved it, and lovely place for a picnic. Can't wait to go again!
Choose this for our Boxing day walk, great just walking thru the woods kids rode their bikes brilliant time had by all.
Been coming here for over 30 years, with dogs, kids. Always a lovely walk, clean, quiet and relaxing.
Beautiful place. Been coming here for many years and my kids still love it. Fantastic walks and great play park for kids. Lots of fun to be had in the river too. Also very nice cafe - lots of cakes and great for ice cream for kids
Beautiful and so close to home . Lovely along the canal let's hope it's not spoilt by HS2
Shame about the pylons but other than that the views are beautiful
Lovely unspoilt and quiet place for a picnic, stroll and a play in the great new adventure wooden kids playground. You can also buy nets and buckets and go fishing in the lovely clear shallow river that runs by the cafe. Would highly recommend this country park, especially if you have young children. fab!!
After a gentle walk around the park it was nice to sit down & have a rest in the warm , the Staff were first class , I would of given 5 stars if it wasn't for the coffee , it was watery & tasteless , in this day & age people expect proper coffee not the stuff from a auto machine that wouldn't get house room in a staff canteen , no fault of the staff but go to Langley or Black Park it's a different class , I'll have a cup of tea next time , also despite the sign saying no Dogs a middle aged lady seemed oblivious to this & proceeded to bring her black dog in twice with out a lead clearly the sign does not apply to her , food was great , it's an informative place & despite 2 small points I'll be very happy to go back , I'm not really moaning but you asked for a review hey
