We go here quite a bit. Most of the time we have had a great experience. They do gluten free battered fish on sun/mon/tues which is brilliant for my wife (as fish and chip shops generally do not do this). Food is good, fish, chips, kebabs, pizzas.



Never had a problem with the service. Of course if you go there Saturday night when the whole town want to eat there you may be waiting a while. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Having moved here from London where there are no good chippies it's great to have one on the doorstep.



Chips portions are MASSIVE though. A regular is a good two plates full :)

Very good quality chicken grilled kebab, great pizzas and nice fish. Service could be faster but it's worth the wait!

Great pizza and great kebabs, I've been going here since it opened, the service has got loads better and now worthy of being a proper chip shop.

Good food. Large chips is plenty for 3 of us!! Slow strange service. Everyone seems to be served in strict order so if you just go in for chips you still have to wait behind someone who has ordered every item on the menu. Odd

We stopped off on our way home to get a large cod (stacks of cod ready), large chips and donner kebab...



Kebab was made and left under the heat lamps for 20minutes...



After a total of waiting for 40 minutes finally got food. A regular chips and a luke warm kebab and large fish.



Someone else who just waited for a cod and chips had been waiting similar time.



Shocking service! No system to the way they work, it seems like they have to work on the same order or none at all.

Waited over 30mins for two portions of chips!

Stupid system taking your order and giving you a number, people in front had ordered kebabs/burgers/chicken etc so we had to wait for those to be cooked and served before we got our chips.

I think the speed of service could be better, and I think more care could be taken with the orders to make sure they are right. I think there could be more flavour in the chicken kebab. But it is a clean shop, very new and with tables to sit at.

I think the service is awful, completely back to front! If foods in the counter then serve it, get through the queue, stop the number system it's just not working!

Very disappointed. Been here many times but in Friday waited almost 30 minutes for 4 x doner kebabs and large chips. Doner was cold. Chips over cooked. Young lad shouting Hey mate to get our attention to ask if wanted salt and vinegar was final straw. Not sure will return. Shame has gone so bad so quick

Used to be nice food with friendly polite staff! Lately the food is poor at best, and some of the staff are just plain rude! Won’t be going back.

Never will and order from here again. We rung and asked for a delivery of which we were told they are not delivering??? Says delivery on the leaflet. We place an order to collec intstead.

We placed our order with a lady that sound like she didn't have a clue we were a bit worried if the order was going to right.

We got told 25 minutes wait time and we got there roughly 30 minutes after and the order was still not ready. They took the money straight away and then started putting the order together which they then found that they only had two pieces of chicken and we had ordered 4. They sold all the chicken and didn't save enough for our order. If they had started the order when we called there would have been enough. The food was unpleasant the lofted kebab was tiny for the price charged. They refund the chicken that we didn't get and that was it. We ended up waiting a 20 minutes more for the order. Don't eat here staff don't know what they are doing and the management in not good!!

Cold dry chips clearly not fresh and seemed to have sat for awhile. Never again.
