Where do I start...........

Diggerland Devon is absolutely amazing. We went as a family of 17 for our sons 2nd birthday today and all of the staff made his birthday so wonderful, they we’re really friendly and they all took the time to wish our son a happy birthday. Diggerland it’s self is spotlessly clean, including the surroundings, toilets, soft play and cafe!! Our son had the most fantastic day, enjoying all of the digger rides, sand pit and huge play area. There is so much to do there, we arrived at 10am and we left at closing time 5pm to which we wasn’t bored at all, the day flew by as we all had so much fun!!! I personally spoke to the manager and asked him to thank all of his staff and we praised them for their hard work. Luckily for us the sun shone and the park was quite so no queuing up or waiting around to get on any of the rides or diggers. Each child received stickers and a certificate which was great and put huge smiles on all the children’s faces- priceless!! We have all come away buzzing from such a wonderful fun filled day. I highly recommend Diggerland Devon what a great day out!! Keep up the great work!! Thank you Diggerland, we can’t wait to come back again very soon!!

User

Went to diggerland Durham this afternoon with my niece, what a fantastic afternoon, we spent 3 half hours here and were there until closing time. £19.95 entry per person equates to £1 a ride, fantastic value for the amount of machinery there is, my niece beat in hooking a duck and skittles, staff were all friendly, some chatted more than others, my nieces favourite ride was getting to drive a real jeep herself!

User

We had an amazing day at diggerland in Yorkshire, I have a 7yr old and 3yr old, although my 3yr old is quite tall anyway so my 7 yr old could go on most things on his own and the 3yr old with me. My 7 year old absolutely loved it!! Well worth the money for any kid who loves diggers or just driving things. The staff were all so lovely and friendly! I can’t recommend this place enough! We’ll definitely be back!

User

We had a lovely family day out at diggerland Kent the rides we're fab no que's despite being half term there was lots to do to keep the kids entertained the park and toilets were spotless and the staff well...amazing so smiley and helpful and really go out off their way to help..my little girl lost her dolly that she loves so much and got given to her when she was first born (sentimental and not replaceable) not only did the staff look round the whole park before they were even open but they went out of their way to personally delivered it to us! One very happy little girl and releived mummy thank you Soo much diggerland Kent! We will 100% be returning and recommending to friends and family

User

The word I kept thinking of the whole time I was at your Kent park was 'Genius'. Diggerland couldn't have been better suited to my son if you'd sat him down and asked him what attractions he'd like to see at a theme park. Fun for young and old and great value. Will definitely be back for more!

User

My family and I came to diggerland in Kent yesterday for my son's 4th birthday and we had the best day. The staff are absolutely fantastic. All of them had a smile on their face, made my kids feel special and excited to get on the rides. 1 of the young girls even stopped my son crying (I wonder if she's availible for babysitting!? ). Everyone was wishing my son a happy birthday and telling my daughter how pretty she is. Having staff like this really makes a difference to the day. The rides are great and the overall park is a good size for my little 2. The toilets were also surprisingly clean (considering it's a park full of diggers) with the facilities easily adapted for children with the toilet seats and lower sinks. The kids were chuffed that they were given a certificate , a medal and stickers on leaving, it really made leaving the park at 5pm with 2 young tired children a lot easier. The only negative I have for the day is that I think the food and drink was very expensive, even just for ice cream.

Overall a brilliant day and we will defiantly be back

User

Had the most amazing family day in Devon! Tunes where up beat for all to enjoy, all the staff where super friendly and an extra shout out to Chris! Helped find a member of staff so our daughters could go on the digger stack and nothing was to much trouble for any of them! Even when the heavens opened all the staff continued with smiles and politeness! Clean tidy & safe areas would highly recommend thank you guys! x

User

Had a lovely morning with a friend and our daughters at diggerland in Kent this morning. Even though it hammered it down raining the staff were absolutely amazing. Still really helpful and smiling even though they were drenched. They all deserve a huge thank you and a hot drink after their shift. Our kids loved the rides. We will be back when the sun is shining

Five of us visited Diggerland Yorkshire today (27-5-18). We were a little hesitant, as the youngest of our party (my younger brother) has Autism, and as he is still very young (6). He really struggles with over stimulation and new experiences.

The staff were extremely friendly, and very helpful. They guided him around the small cars section as all members of our party were too tall to accompany him, they didn't mind his need for a different kind of plate, and even allowed us to use the first aid room when he had an upsetting episode. Had we not been able to access this quiet area, we probably would have had to return home early.

At all times they were chatty, smiling and put his needs first.

The park is fun, it's not all singing and dancing, but there is plenty for little folk to do. Us adults also had lots of fun on the spinning digger, JCBs and games.

In the cafe, the food wasn't expensive, and it's nice that the play area is included in the price.

Thank you to all there, lots of memories were made today.

User

Fantastic day out. Attended the Devon venue today, 2 adults and my 5 year old son. Arrived at 10am and within minutes we were on diggers, my son was in his element and it’s great the staff allow the kids to get involved and literally dig and drive diggers, a very unique experience. We went on things multiple times and hardly any ques. There was plenty to do and my son wouldn’t stop talking about it on the way home. Great value at £20 per person, at centre parks it’s £22 just for the kids to spend 5 minutes on the mini land rovers which were included in the price here. We got our certificate and left about 3pm. Will certainly return

User

Came today with my 5 year old son and we had a brilliant time! So much to do, we were so impressed. It’s been the hottest day of the year so far and I thought the staff did amazingly well standing all day long at each attraction without complaint. Some of them seemed a little bit miserable, for which I can’t blame them one bit. It would have been nice for management to perhaps rotate the staff around every 2 hours or something, so they get some time indoors, maybe working in the gift shop or something to get out of the sun? I started to feel sick and had a headache and we’d had some time indoors, so I really don’t think it’s safe for them not to get plenty of rest in the shade.

Anyway, we had a brilliant time and will be back!

User

We have visited Digerland Kent today. I must say we were scared after we have read bad reviews about it but it turn out to be nice day. Weather suprisly was not bad. We all enjoy rides. Staff was very polite and helpful with everything. Lovelly play area. Good food (but quite expensive £3.50 for a scoup of ice cream).

The only one think that was little upseting was that we arivied at 10am and had a ride on everything (on some even few times) and we stay around hour in the play area and had some food and we finished all before 1pm

But it still was great day out for whole family. Adults and older children had more fun then toddlers to be fair (they love inside play area the most I think ) :)

User

Took my five year old son to a birthday party there and he loved it, we will be coming back for a family day out when it cools down a bit. My only complaint would having to pay £10.00 just to come in with him when I wasn’t going in any of the rides I wouldn’t mind a couple of pounds but £10.00 is a lot for a spectator.

User

Took my 4 year old son on bank holiday Monday with my partner and he had a fantastic time. He didn't want to leave, and my son had a great day too! We spent 4 1/2 hours at Castleford Diggerland. Although it was an expensive day out it was worth it. The weather was fantastic and the staff were pleasant. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was how long it took to get through the entrance paying. One queue for everyone and another for people who had already prepaid. The prepaid queue was non existent! So the queue for everyone else was out the door. They did take some of the queue through the shop but still was taking its time! I would definitely suggest buying your tickets online in advance to beat the queue! If it hadnt been for the queuing it would have been a five star rating! We can't wait to visit again when our son is a little bit taller and can do alot more at diggerland

User

Took my 3yr old, he loved it and so did we. He wasn't any good at driving the little cars, so thanks very much to the patient staff that went round with him. All staff were very friendly. The only thing I would say is you could do with parasols outside as it was hot today and no-where to shelter from the sun. Could do with another food place and more toilets at other end outside maybe but all had a great day!

User

Me and my friend came here today with our 2 girls. The place is great, the staff, omg the staff are just fantastic. Today the heavens opens and thunder and lightning hit and the staff were still out there dripping and walking like penguins. (Nick I think he's name was) the young lad was a lovely guy and just kept saying sorry to us bless him he is just amazing. The lady manager we spoke to was so lovely and she had so many complaints today due to the weather and because they didn't want to go on anything demanding money back. Which didn't happen which I get. Luckily we had a laugh and just went out in the rain as we have a sense of humour but i would reccommend the management think of 2 things.

Waterproof clothing for your staff. Jeans and shorts aren't fair at all on your amazing loyal staff. We even offered some of them tea! They were litterly standing in it soaked. Even an umbrella would have been enough. Non of them were moaning.

Also if the worse comes with the weather maybe offer 10% off when entering or if we come back maybe a discount so we don't feel a bit like the day wasted. We will come back of course but i hope it doesn't rain again as we travelled 1.5 hours to go and although we were able to do some bits it was a shame we couldn't do more.

The soft play and dining hall was great and the place its self is amazing.. but might be worth looking into those 2 factors.

User

For a day out in good weather is fantastic, we took our 2 year old who is over 90cm and he still couldn't go on some rides and we had to to pay for him, bit gutting. We made the most of it as it was 60 pounds for 3 of us that was without food! However it was a glorious day and if you asked my 2 year old he would of said the best day ever, a true digger fan.

User

Was an awful hour of our time! Over priced not enough to do with how busy it is. Only managed to go on a train (which was rubbish - just a few broken dinos and gnomes?!) and then couldn’t go on anything else due to queues. We did wait to go on a digger merry-go round but my little boy being 2 and a half didn’t feel happy going on. One lady was nice encouraging my little on to go on it with my partner but the other lady was eye rolling smirking to the other lady- she didn’t realise I was watching. My sons not even two and a half yet!! You would think people working in a place like this would have more patience and understanding. That was the last straw and I am fuming from our experience. We have been looking forward to taking our digger mad son here since xmas. Don’t waste your money here... at £20 a head it’s not worth an hour of disappointment! Don’t bother!

User

The place is a con. Charging twenty quid for a toddler who isn't even four and unable to take part in the more interesting things.

We asked for a refund for him after finding this out which even the young lad on the till thought was a fair request ...but the arrogance of Katy the "office manager " was something to behold.

I could go on and on. But just let this sink in.....a 3 yr old was charged 20 pounds to get in. !!!!!!
